Chapter 273: LAST WARNING.
The eagle beastmen swirled through the air, flying all around them while ready to strike. It was a strong formation, and looking up at the sky, the tiger beastmen could tell.
He simply scoffed as he stared down at the eagle lord standing before him. "I see... you already came prepared. You were already planning this for a long time now. I should have known."
The eagle smiled as he stared through his army. "I can also say the same for you... shouldn’t I?" He raised an eyebrow.
But the tiger held a firm expression, a hand behind him as he cast his cold glare at him. "Then I guess I won’t be holding back."
He continued, "Trying to take the food? Well, I guess you’ll have to do that over my dead body! Don’t regret it!"
The eagle chuckled lightly as he said, "You should say the same for yourself. But does it even matter? Because today I guess we’ll settle that once and for all."
At that moment, the tiger army positioned their weapons, ready to strike while the eagle also did the same—all ready for the impending fight that was inevitable at this point.
The tiger clenched his fist as he stepped backward. "Then don’t blame me for being brutal! Get him!"
He had given his orders, and almost immediately, his men flooded toward the eagle beastmen. As the tiger lord stepped back, his men took his orders and attacked the eagle lord.
In a matter of seconds, a full fight had broken out.
The few men standing behind the eagle lord stepped forward into the scene to defend him, fighting to the best of their abilities while their lord stepped backward to safety.
The eagle beastmen hovering in the air soon dived in, flying down to the scene to fight the army that was going against their lord.
While the leaders stepped backward for their own safety, their men clashed in a fight—weapons against each other, physical combats clashing as the atmosphere grew tense.
In the blink of an eye, the fight between these two tribes had intensified.

That night, the eagle beastman was leading Sunnie and her team off to safety as he had said. Sunnie and the rest didn’t say anything; they quietly followed behind while monitoring him.
While they moved, Sunnie exchanged glances with the rest. They had already made the plan of how they’d handle it, and they were only waiting for the moment to come.
The eagle beastman said nothing. He led them ahead until they had finally arrived at a destination.
The place was an isolated space in the forest—a place lonely and almost creepy in the night. There was no person around, and only the sound of night creatures could be heard.
Having arrived at the destination, the beastman stopped. He didn’t say anything or move further. He simply turned and stared at them.
Sunnie smiled, folding both arms while she stared at him. "Eh... so why are we here again? Is this supposed to be the safe zone? Where is it?" She asked him, curious.
But this beastman said nothing. He had his cold expression fixed on them for a while, staring at them as though he was studying them.
"So...?" Sunnie asked again, arms folded. "What is it going to be? Where is the safe zone that was promised to us, at least?"
But the man let out a sharp scoff almost immediately, glaring down at them while he said, "Fools... you really think that you’d be taken to safety? Are you that delusional to have believed that?"
At that moment, Sunnie raised an eyebrow as she asked, "And what’s that supposed to mean? Your master told you to get us to safety, so what are you doing?"
The eagle beastman smiled. Immediately, more eagle beastmen began coming out of their hiding in the bushes. As if they were waiting for them, they made their way out and quickly surrounded Sunnie and her crew.
They grew close, their weapons extended for attack. It was clear to Sunnie and the rest what was happening. It was clear that they were about to be eliminated.
Sunnie stared at them. "And what’s all this? This isn’t part of the plan, so what are you doing?"
But the eagle beastman smiled as he said, "You must have been foolish for thinking the lord will keep you safe." He laughed as he added, "Right now, we don’t have any use for you anymore. So it’s best to get rid of you as soon as possible before you bring anything else. We wouldn’t want such hassle." He said firmly.
The eagle stared at the men around. "Grab them and kill them off as soon as possible so we can head back. We don’t have all the time in the world."
As he instructed, the eagle beastmen slowly approached, their weapons within reach while they closed the distance.
While they approached, Sunnie and the rest pulled backward. Little Black was closely behind Sunnie, holding onto her while peeking from a corner.
Zayn and Karl came to stand before Sunnie and Little Black, protecting the two of them from the approaching beastmen who were set to harm them.
"No need to fight. You can’t win, so you should just give up and accept your fate!" The eagle beastman said as they closed in.
But Sunnie let out a calm smile as she said, "Are you sure you want to do this? You’re pretty much going to regret it. And I don’t want you to. So maybe if you just let us go... we can consider."
But the beastman laughed mockingly as he said, "And what do you think you are? You’re trying to threaten us?" He laughed some more as he said, "Save that for yourself, because soon enough you’ll be as good as dead!"
He snapped as Sunnie casually smiled. She sighed as she shook her head. "I guess it’s a no, then. I’ve given you the final warning, so don’t blame me for what happens next," she said.
Pissed off and impatient, the eagle snapped, "What are you waiting for? Kill them!"
Immediately, the men attacked, all of them striking their weapons to take them down.
Zayn and Karl wanted to charge ahead to defend themselves and the female, but immediately they were knocked down from behind.
It was an ambush from behind. Someone had attacked the eagle beastmen and struck them hard.
One was kicked from the back, and he fell down to his face. While he struggled to get up to his feet, another smashed a stick against his head, and he went unconscious.
A rope was put over the neck of one of them, and he was pulled. While he struggled to set himself free and breathe, he was kicked down from behind. He fell down and was beaten into unconsciousness.
Like that, one by one, they were all beaten down and fell into unconscious states.
The leader of the gang was shocked and confused. He looked around and struggled to defend himself and run off. But it was to no avail. Someone had grabbed him by the neck and slammed him hard against a tree.
Blood dripped from his head as he struggled to escape. But they beat him up until he fell down and went unconscious immediately as well.
In a short time, they were all taken down. Sunnie, Little Black, Zayn, and Karl stood there staring down at the eagle beastmen who were on the floor unconscious.
There was silence for a while. Little Black blinked as he said, "I guess we’re safe."
They looked up to see who had come to their rescue. As they saw familiar faces, they smiled.
Little Black instantly rushed and fell into the arms of Eris in a firm hug. "You came for us!"
Eris struggled to stand while holding onto the little rabbit on his leg. "Calm down, little one. You’re going to throw me down if you continue like that," he laughed while Little Black kept hugging onto him.
Luka and Azure smiled as they stepped into the scene, staring at them with arms folded and smiles.
Sunnie and the rest stared at them. "You made it," she said.
"Of course we would make it. We couldn’t waste any further time unless the female would be in further danger," Azure smiled.
"And we certainly don’t want that," Luka added.
Eris successfully pulled Little Black out from his leg as he smiled. "Hey, you shouldn’t be happy to see me. Save the happiness for someone else," he said as he held Little Black.
Little Black blinked while staring at him. "And who is that?"
Eris smiled as he turned without saying anything. Little Black followed his eyes without saying a thing, turning to see who he was talking about.
He was rather shocked to see Zukka step out of the woods and into the scene, staring down at Little Black with a smile.
