Chapter 125: A Farming Trap.
Sunnie went behind a tree to pull out what she had gotten from the system. As she did, they all stared at her, shocked.
Her husbands stepped back, staring at the strange equipment in her hand. "And what’s that?" Karl demanded.
"Is that some kind of wood or something?" Luka inquired.
Sunnie held it and pushed it like a wheelchair, so they were shocked at how it looked and was built.
"What’s that?" Azure asked.
Sunnie smiled. "This? Well, this is what’s going to get the clearing of the bushes done."
Karl stared at her. "This is supposed to clear that? And how’s that even possible? I don’t see any sharp sides to this thing..."
Sunnie smiled. "You’ll just have to watch and see."
Sunnie smiled. She didn’t have much time left, so she knew she had to start now.
She pushed it through the bushes, and as she passed by, the place was instantly cleared.
They stared, gasping in shock.
"What’s that...?" Luka asked. "Is that some magical tool or...?"
"I don’t know... It looks like some weapon or something..." Eris blinked.
Azure nodded. "Yes... it must be, for it to be able to clear with such speed and accuracy." He was simply intrigued by the strange sight before him.
Karl blinked. "How did the female get that, though?"
They all shook their heads, staring. Little Black rushed to the ground, watching in amusement as Sunnie simply moved and pushed the equipment while it cleared everything. He was simply impressed. "Let me try! Let me try it!" he called, but Sunnie smiled at him as she said, "It’s dangerous," she explained.
An hour had gone by while using it, and Sunnie was already exhausted. She turned off the tool as she turned and stared at the others.
They were all standing there, watching what she was doing without saying anything. They were simply impressed.
"She stopped," Luka blinked.
Sunnie was clearly exhausted as she ran a hand through her forehead, wiping the sweat off her face.
"Let me help." Immediately, Azure stepped into the scene.
"Huh?" Sunnie stared at him.
He smiled. "You’re tired, so I want to help you out with it."
Sunnie stared at the equipment and then at him. "Oh, I see..." She smiled. "But can you do it?"
"...." Azure stared at the tool. He couldn’t; he just wanted to help Sunnie, who was looking so exhausted.
Luka and Eris also approached the scene. "We’ll learn. Just take some rest and let us do it," Eris smiled.
Sunnie stared at them, impressed. She guessed the tool had truly intrigued them enough to make them want to see how it worked.
She smiled as she said with a nod. "Okay then. I’ll teach you all then. Listen."
They watched from where they were as Sunnie pointed to the necessary places they needed for operating it. She did some demonstrations for them while at it, and they all slowly nodded—even Karl and Zayn nodded while watching without even knowing.
"Now try," Sunnie smiled, handing it to Azure. And he did it so well.
He was indeed a quick learner because Sunnie didn’t even help. She stood there watching with both arms folded. She watched as he cleared the bushes without much hesitation.
And he was also fast. He had cleared a decent spot in a short period of time. "I guess beastmen have better strength," she concluded.
Eris and Luka came to practice what they had learned, and Sunnie could easily conclude that they were the dumbest in the bunch.
She spent a whole hour making them get it right. Sunnie would set it and have one of them push. He would push and then end up digging a hole with it.
"How are you even doing that?" Sunnie asked Luka, who simply blinked and shrugged.
She proceeded to help Eris, who for some strange reason couldn’t push the lawnmower. It kept turning off every few seconds when he wanted to push.
Sunnie blinked as she stared at the time. Two and a half hours left, and they still hadn’t cleared even half of the place.
She panicked, knowing she had to be quick. But if she did it alone, she would probably never get it done on time before the equipment disappeared. So Sunnie knew she needed help.
Her beast husbands would be faster, so she needed their help with it.
She turned to Azure. "Please help me clear the place. You’re the only one who seems to know how it works. You’re simply the best. You learn so fast, and you seem to know everything. I love that, and I think you’re the most hardworking here. So please help me and clear the place. Okay?"
Sunnie had intentionally flattered him. Azure’s cheeks went pink from the flattering; he ran a hand through his blue hair shyly as he said, "Oh. Okay then... I’m more than happy to help."
And so he came, took the lawnmower, and began clearing the place as fast as he could. He happily cleared while showing off to Sunnie, who was watching.
Sunnie smiled as she kept praising him from time to time. "Oh! You’re so hardworking! I’m so impressed! No one does it like you! So strong! So good!"
She kept praising while making sure all of them were listening. And while they all listened, they all had frowns on their faces except Zayn.
Eris folded his arms. "It’s not even that hard..."
Luka sighed. "I can do this too... it’s just that I was hungry."
Zayn had a calm expression as he said, "It’s not even much."
Karl scoffed as he said, rolling his eyes, "Strongest my foot. I can even do this while sleeping. It’s not even that much at all."
Sunnie smiled while listening to all their complaints. They were clearly getting jealous, and that was exactly what Sunnie wanted.
They had fallen straight into her trap, and now she was certainly going to take advantage of that.
