Chapter 250: Outing
"Mama, I called Papa," Luna said proudly as she stared at Sunnie.
Sunnie nodded with a smile. "That’s good."
Eris went down on his knees before Sunnie as he slowly ran a hand through her forehead. "You feel warm... are you okay? What’s wrong?"
Luka had sat down by her other side, taking her hand while he examined her. "And your hands are also warm."
Sunnie smiled as she shook her head. "I guess I fell sick. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine after some rest. So..." She shook her head.
"Mama needs medicine," Lune had said as Azure smiled while carrying him in his arms.
"Yes, Mama needs medicine," Azure said to him as Lune stared at Azure.
"I can give medicine to Mama. I’ve seen Mama give medicine before. I can do it," he insisted as Sunnie smiled.
"Yes. When the time comes, you’ll give medicine to Mama. And Papa too," Azure smiled as he gently patted him on the hair.
"What would you like to eat?" Eris asked, worried, as he stared at Sunnie.
"How do you feel inside? Do you want some fruit, or...?" Luka asked.
"Would you need some sunlight? Maybe we can carry you out for some fresh air and sunlight too. It’s healthy," Eris offered.
"Or do you want some soup? I can try and prepare some for you," Luka expressed.
"Or maybe some meat? You want meat? Maybe we can go and hunt down more meat so you can have them," Eris said.
"Or vegetables. They’re healthy," Luka suggested.
And so the two of them went on and on about what Sunnie would want, both sitting at her left and right while providing endless suggestions for her.
Sunnie simply lay there, staring from her left to right while blinking. She said nothing but stared.
Azure smiled as he said, "How’s she going to decide if you keep making offers like that?"
Karl folded his arms as he said, "Childish. You should leave her to rest, at least."
Zayn smiled. "I think they’re the real cubs here pestering her."
"We’re just concerned," Luka and Eris said at the same time as Sunnie shook her head with a smile.
Luna, who was sitting there, stared at them as she said, "You two are disturbing Mama. Mama wants to rest," she insisted.
Karl shrugged as he said, "Well, the cub has spoken."
Eris shook his head as he stared at Sunnie. "I think you should get some rest. We’ll go and get you something to eat."
Luka nodded. "Yes. We’ll also ask Elza. I think she should know what to give you."
Sunnie nodded with a smile. "That should do."
"Mama, should I get the medicine?" Lune asked again as everyone stared at him with a smile.
"No need. All Mama needs to do is eat, and everything will be fine," Azure assured as Lune slowly nodded.

Soon, they left Sunnie inside to get some rest while they made their way out.
Luka had approached Elza and the women who were working on the meal and explained the situation at hand.
"...I think she’s sick... do you know what she needs to have?" He inquired.
Elza nodded as she said, "I see. I’ll have to go and examine her to know what she might need," she explained.
Azure carried Lune in his arms firmly while Luna had pulled Eris by the leg as she said, "Papa, I want fruits! Lune won’t give me any."
"Fruits? I thought you already had some fruits this morning?" Eris asked as he bent down to brush his hand around her hair.
"I’m hungry," she insisted.
"Don’t worry. Breakfast will be ready soon," he explained.
"No. I want fruits," Luna insisted.
Karl stared with his arms folded as he said, "Maybe you should take them out to get some fruits. Aren’t you and the others heading out to gather fruits?"
Luna smiled on hearing that as she happily pulled him by the leg. "Yes! Take me with you! I want to also get some fruits! Take me along!" She insisted happily.
Eris stared at her with a smile. He sighed as he shook his head. "Okay... I’ll take you and Lune along together to gather some fruits."
Luna instantly smiled at the news as she began jumping around celebrating.
"Yay! I’m going to gather some fruits! Yay!" She said while she happily jumped around in celebration.
Lune said nothing. His expression was neutral while he sat in Azure’s arms, staring at them.
Eris smiled, watching his daughter celebrating, as he stared up at Lune as well. "And you too. You will be coming with us. I’ll be taking you two out together to gather some fruits. At least you’ll see how it goes and you’ll be able to gather enough fruits for yourselves," he explained with a smile.
"Really? Are we taking them along this time?" Ronan asked.
Ronan, Maren, and Mii were sitting at a corner preparing their baskets and equipment for gathering fruits.
They always came along whenever they were gathering fruits since they were old enough. The twin cubs never came along. But they were rather surprised that Eris had announced that they were coming along this time.
"That’s good!" Maren smiled happily. "They will be coming along, so I have a lot to teach them!"
"You’re always looking for who to teach," Ronan teased as Maren slapped him on the arm. "Ouch."
"Shut up... you’re noisy," Maren snapped as Mii laughed.
"Are they really coming with us?" Maren asked as they looked up from where they were preparing their equipment.
Eris nodded. "Sure. They’re coming along, of course. I think they’re old enough to learn how to gather fruits and where to get them. It’ll help everyone as well," he said with a smile, hands on his waist.
Luka slowly nodded. "I see... makes sense to me."
Eris smiled as he looked down at the two foxes. "Okay! Now go and get ready before we leave! We’re going to have some fun adventures today!" He announced with a smile.
