Seeing the two about to walk out of the set, Santiago Fuller gritted his teeth so hard that he felt like he was about to bite through his gums. Suddenly, a voice echoed throughout the set:
"Your acting... is excellent, and for the words of disdain I spoke to you earlier, I... apologize."
Everyone was shocked!
"Did I just hear wrong? I must have, because I can’t believe that in my lifetime, someone could make Santiago Fuller apologize."
"Who in the world is this Oriental girl? To earn Santiago Fuller’s favor and have him lower himself to apologize to her?"
Some staff who didn’t see Aurelia Shaw’s earlier performance heard the awed explanations from those who did: "This girl played the role of a mute girl so superbly, it was mesmerizing. You weren’t there, but earlier when I was watching, I truly felt like she could kill me."
"I heard that this girl rejected Santiago Fuller’s request to play the mute girl just to have lunch, and that’s why Santiago Fuller apologized to her."
The comment caused quite a stir, and the crowd murmured as they looked at Aurelia Shaw with an entirely new level of respect.
However, someone scoffed contemptuously, "You think she’s that incredible? An Oriental woman, no matter how good her acting is, can’t compare to Albert. All Oriental actors are the same; she must have used some trick to fool Santiago Fuller. Nobody’s acting is that good."
Many people nodded in agreement.
Aurelia Shaw turned back and flashed a sly smile.
Santiago Fuller’s eyebrows twitched; even from a distance, he could clearly see the satisfaction and triumph in her eyes. He had been played! But it was a trap he had known and still had no choice but to step into. He admitted that this Oriental girl had some talent, but whether it was true talent or just a flash in the pan remained to be seen.
If her abilities failed, he’d still mercilessly kick her out.
Aurelia Shaw turned and started to leave. Santiago Fuller, slightly panicked, asked anxiously, "Where are you going?"

This might be the first time since winning the Golden Directing Award that Santiago Fuller personally handled an actor’s contract, as he usually left such matters to his assistant without even looking.
Amanda Fuller lowered her head to review the contract and then placed it in front of Aurelia Shaw. "The contract is fine, you can sign it."
Santiago Fuller grunted, blowing his beard, "How superfluous."
Amanda lifted her chin, her gaze tinged with the sharpness reminiscent of Foster Fuller, "Director Fuller, I’m just being cautious, which is for the best for both parties, to avoid any overlooked details that might cause trouble for both of us."
Santiago Fuller was left speechless, inwardly grumbling: Even agents are this sharp-tongued.
Seeing Aurelia Shaw hesitating to sign, Santiago Fuller grew anxious but maintained a calm facade: "If there’s anything you’re dissatisfied with, say it now to avoid the hassle of amending the contract later."
Aurelia Shaw smiled helplessly, as if she were a peasant exploited by landlords, "My agent has looked over the contract and deemed it fine, so there shouldn’t be any issues, but..."
