Knowing that Viscount misunderstood, Aurelia originally wanted to explain but thought better of it and didn’t.

Seeing she wasn’t going to discuss the topic further, Viscount breathed a sigh of relief and reminded her again, "I’ve temporarily kept the company registration documents for you. Without my permission, not even you can transfer them to someone else’s name."

"Even if I wanted to transfer them, I couldn’t. Legally, the company is under your name now," Aurelia grumbled. At the time, worried that some paparazzi would dig up the registration documents, she simply transferred all of them to Viscount’s name.

Anyway, she trusted Viscount and wasn’t worried he’d run off with the money. If he dared to run, she’d cling to him for life—it’s a free meal ticket without the hard work.

"Want to grab a bite?" Viscount glanced at her and asked.

"Nope." Aurelia stood up. "I’ve got something in the afternoon, you go eat by yourself."

"Always busy. Have you ever come back to eat with me? Are you going with Mason again?" Viscount said, sounding jealous.

Aurelia laughed, pinched Viscount’s cheek, and internally marveled at how it used to be chubby and nice to pinch, but now there’s no meat left to pinch as he’s grown up.

Lost in thought, she retracted her hand. "What nonsense are you thinking? The old man’s heart condition flared up; he’s in the hospital, I’m going to see him." She patted Viscount on the shoulder. Seeing the effort it took, Viscount discreetly bent down a bit, displaying an awkward expression.

"Eat more meat, look how thin you’ve gotten. It pains my hand to pat your shoulder. I’ll text Auntie Zhou to make sure she watches over your meals daily."

"If my mom finds out you’re watching over me, she’d definitely be happy." Viscount said. Seeing Aurelia waving at him as she was about to leave, Viscount asked, "Need me to have the driver take you? It’s hard to catch a taxi in this cold weather."

"Nagging like you’re in early menopause," Aurelia laughed as she walked away.

Really unsure whether Viscount’s words were a jinx, Aurelia waited by the roadside for ten minutes without seeing a single taxi. She glanced down the street, her scarf covering half her face, with long, curly black hair draped down to her waist, revealing only a pair of beautiful Glamour-like eyes. Her eyelashes were adorned with a frosty white, fluttering like butterfly wings.

"Beep beep!"

A horn sounded.

Aurelia turned to look and saw Emily poking her head out of the car, "Where to? I’ll take you."

Aurelia initially wanted to refuse; she wasn’t familiar with Emily, who had no obligation to give her a lift, especially since it’d be out of the way and with artists’ tight schedules, she didn’t like owing favors.

"It’s hard to catch a taxi at this time," Emily’s voice came again.

Aurelia pondered for a moment and got in the car. Warmth enveloped her instantly, and the cold frost melted into droplets hanging on her eyelashes, creating a lively beauty.

Emily’s agent looked at Aurelia, feeling a sense of crisis. She didn’t understand why Emily wanted to cozy up to this woman, whom in the industry was the quintessential "vixen."

The term isn’t derogatory because Aurelia has both an enchanting and pure charm, with striking beauty that makes other female celebrities fade into insignificance next to her—a starlet’s worst nightmare.

Want to stand out? How can one become a backdrop for other female stars?

Other female artists avoided Aurelia like the plague, yet Emily went to help her.

Still, it was her own artist, so the agent just thought it over without much discontent.
