"Have you been listening to me?" Viscount Johnson asked. Aurelia Shaw remained silent for so long that he finally realized she hadn’t been paying attention to a word he’d said.
"I heard you. You want me to take the company back and manage it myself, while you plan to kick back and do nothing." Aurelia Shaw replied without lifting her head.
"The real manager of this company was always supposed to be you. I’m just a figurehead, sitting here every few days and collecting a paycheck. Honestly, it’s kind of an insult to my capabilities! I’m the sole heir of the Johnson Family, not claiming to be incredibly powerful, but the family is doing quite well under my management at the moment."
Yet now he’s enjoying the results that should belong to a woman, and his conscience can’t take it.
Aurelia Shaw still didn’t lift her head, "It’s not the right time yet."
"The company is stable now. If not now, then when?"
"Though the company is stable, there’s no significant work to present. ’World’ is still filming, and the artists under the name are relatively immature.
