Tou no Madoushi

Episode 4: Fighting the Beast

Lynn screamed and desperately felt like she was about to escape.

Because I used to hear stories from hunters that if you turn your back on a beast, you could be attacked.

Lynn slowly retreated so as not to stimulate the lion.

The lion stares at Lynn as he rises in a slow motion.

My eyes run blood and my mouth is dripping with yodales.

It was obvious that they hadn't been fed for days.

Growl and roar.

(I'm not kidding...)

Lynn turns her head desperately about the situation in which she is now placed, even though she is confused.

(What the hell do you think they're doing? It's not an exam like this, it's just a bad hobby execution.)

Lynn tried to make me think about how she had been.

I don't think they, Ewing or the exams, are going to make themselves magicians.

It was a strange story from the beginning.

I can't believe that a strange traveler can suddenly talk to me about being a magician to myself, who is just a shrewd slave.

Didn't you just want to trap it from the beginning and feed the lion you keep in the tower?

Or maybe the tower folks have a hobby of watching a hooked, pathetic kid get eaten and killed unharmed by a beast.

(We have to run anyway...)

Lynn didn't want to die yet.

I'm no longer at the exam.

It was a crisis of life.

Now we have to get away from the lion anyway.

Hungry lions are hard to come by while staring at Lynn.

You should be able to get your nails up Lynn's throat and tear it apart whenever you feel like it.

Nonetheless, the lion has no sign of ever attacking.

While keeping your gaze off of phosphorus, your body is lying sideways with respect to phosphorus and slowly taking your feet while maintaining a constant distance.

He was oddly cautious, even though he obviously sees phosphorus as a prey.

If you are slowly turning around the perimeter of the phosphorus to circle your body to the side, it also looks like you are looking at gaps and trying to strike, or if you have to, you are preparing to escape.

If you look closely, the Beast was quite debilitated.

His face is twisted, his hands, feet and torso thin.

Maybe he doesn't have the strength to hit Lynn.

Or maybe you think of Lynn as a magician and you're afraid.

Lynn saw the ring that had been hacked and fitted earlier.

The jewels embedded in the ring emitted a stronger glow than earlier.

Lynn looks at the light of the ring towards the lion in the attempt.

The lion cramps his body freaking out and retreats.

After all, the lion is afraid of this ring.

Apparently, he has also been quite badly eyed by the wicked wizards.

There was hope in the phosphorus.

If the lion is afraid of this ring, he might survive if he gets better.

I can't defeat the lion because I don't know how to use this ring, but I get to the entrance with the lion in tow with the haunt as it is.

And if you leave the entrance and lock it from the outside, you might be able to escape this beast.

Running away from here will probably disqualify the exam.

But it is not the case now.

We have to think about surviving anyway.

Lynn retreated to the entrance with a giddy look at the lion.

If the lion gets too close, turn the light on the ring and tow it.

The lion avoids the light of the ring and takes a distance from the phosphorus.

Lynn and the lion, who thus repeated every step of the way, but gradually the lion came boldly closer.

He seemed surprised at Lynn for not magic forever.

I've been stuck one step, two steps, three steps at a time when Lynn took a step back.

It is a distance from which its sharp nails are likely to reach if it jumps.

(Don't come. Please don't come)

Lynn desperately remembered in her heart.

Yet another step closer comes the lion.

"Stay away!

Lynn screamed.

The lion flies back as a vick.

He had a surprisingly cold voice himself.

Sigh of relief when you see the lion distance again.

There was a slight sweat seeping through my back.

(A little later. Later)

Lynn turns her body to the lion, while only looking behind her back.

The entrance door was almost there.

Lynn continued her glint with the lion, desperately looking back and wanting to rush out.

How long has it been since the lion was summoned?

Lynn kept her vanity shining with the beast.

But it was also finally coming to an end.

Lynn reached the entrance door.

(Done)

Lynn was convinced of her survival.

If you dare to knock through this door, you can get out into the aisle.

From there to the elevator is only a few.

Even if the entrance door isn't locked, you should be able to escape the lion's nails and fangs if you board the elevator.

Lynn takes the door handle in her rear hand.

Turn the handle and push a little and you should have been able to get out into the aisle.

Lynn slowly turns the door handle so the lion doesn't notice.

But the handle didn't even work with Pickle.

"Oh no..."

Lynn was struck by despair.

Fall into a semifrenzy.

"Somebody! Somebody help me."

Lynn turned her back on the lion and knocked on the door, screaming.

The thread of tension is no longer broken, shapeless and asks for help.

But no one responded to Lynn's help.

The lion laughed niggly when he saw Lynn like that.

It's clear that Lynn doesn't have the power to contain herself.

Do a tongue twitch.

It's been a long meal.

I'm afraid I'm just a little thin, but it still doesn't make a difference that it's a meal.

This is a matter of self-esteem.

Ever since his capture, his pride as King of the Beast continued to be shattered by the Wizard.

But now I remember when I was strong again in front of the prey in front of me.

You can tear the flesh of your prey with your fingernails and devour it with your fangs.

The lion roared.

Lynn looks back at this one as a vic.

The colour of clarity and fear appeared in its eyes.

The position has now been reversed.

The lion strips his fangs and jumps toward Lynn.

At that time, the ring glowed strongly.

The light emitted from the ring gathers in a single muscle in front of the phosphorus to become a sword, piercing the lion's head.

The lion collapsed to the floor where his nails could or could not reach Lynn.

A red blood build-up spreads around the lion as he looks at it.

Lynn had no choice but to keep an eye on the sight in front of her.

Suddenly, the body loses its strength.

Lynn laid her hands on the floor.

(What... this. I can't help myself)

Plus Lynn gets a headache.

I was dazzled and my consciousness became blurred.

"You surprise me. What is the sword of Rydges?"

Soon the examiner stood beside him.

Looking down at Lynn and the lion lying on the floor.

Lynn and the lion were surrounded by the examiners.

"Even though I used Lucendo's ring, it's the first time I've ever been this powerful,"

"You have enough qualities."

"It's a big deal for a slave."

"Mr. Ewing did an unexpected pick up."

The examiners seemed to be laughing.

Lynn tried to talk about something but couldn't.

I can't help myself.

"Say that ring is Lucendo's ring. They kill anyone who tries to do harm to their owner. As long as you have the qualities of a Magic Instructor, you're just equipped to activate it."

What would you have done if it hadn't activated?

Lynn tried to protest but still couldn't speak up well.

I couldn't even move my lips well because of the loss of strength from all over my body.

"You're tired, aren't you? You all right, buddy?

"It's a shockback phenomenon. Fall into a sudden drain of magic. You'll recover in less than a day. Arrange the infirmary!

"Congratulations, Mr. Lynn. The exam is passed. You will have the right to live in the tower."

"Welcome to the tower. We welcome you."

The examiners had a different and friendly attitude after hitting before. But the mouth was distorted in a mean way with Niyaniya. They seemed delightful and irresistible that Lynn was nodding.

In Lynn's head, what happened today was running around like a running lantern.

The boulevard where cluttered people and things go, the girl praying in front of the stone statue, the maze in the tower, the battle against the beast......

(Apparently, I've come to a hell of a place.)

Eventually, he can't even open his lid, and Lynn's consciousness falls into the dark.
