Tou no Madoushi
Episode 54: Illywia's Depression
Each time the color of the light emitted from the demonic stone changed, the party venue gave a different look.
When the reds and oranges become stronger, like the volcanic craters, when the greens become stronger, they change their appearance, like deep forests and emerald seas, and when the blues become stronger, they change their appearance, like deep seas and universes.
Lynn, who had never seen any of them, was just intoxicated by the fantastic atmosphere of the venue.
Nevertheless, I'm getting tired of this sight, too, Lin.
Yuven has been talking silently about anything ever since he came to this seat.
And finally, I went outside the venue by myself earlier, probably to the makeup room.
Lynn has become alone.
I look at Illyweer, but her greeting is never going to end either.
The Tea Party I was invited to because of, Lynn decided, as Ilywia told me, to try to speak to the children who are here courageously to connect with the high demon mentors and senior nobles.
I try to get closer to a boy as old as myself who has been alone since the beginning.
But he turns away and joins the other group as Lynn approaches him with a smile on his face.
(I guess he was a bit of a familiar kid. Never mind. Let's go next)
Lynn tried to talk to the two girls, but they still left a little when they saw Lynn's outfit.
I have no choice but to speak to another child, unlike a tall young man. Lynn tried to speak to him at once, but he would just ignore Giroli and this one and walk away fast.
Lynn, who's been going to tables all over for a while and talking to me, never ended up being dealt by anyone.
Lynn returns to her original dim seat completely depressed.
(Ah. I guess we all want to talk to each other in the same capacity)
Lynn looks blurry at the world glittering from darkness.
Everyone enjoys the party thoughtfully. I don't like people approaching Lynn.
Nevertheless, I was so tired that I no longer even felt lonely or uncomfortable with Lynn.
I didn't think that a tea party was such a mental fatigue. This was still better if I worked at the factory.
Lynn noticed that there was a girl who was going to look at this one as a flicker.
She was an unusually sharp-eyed girl with silver-edged glasses in her gray hair.
Despite being in a group surrounding the table with about five or six people, I reluctantly send my gaze to this one, not in addition to the group's story.
(Maybe you want to talk to me)
Lynn thought so, but she didn't talk to me from here.
It could be my mistake.
Maybe I'm just as surprised about Lynn as any other participant.
If you talk to him, he could be ignored or stared at again.
Lynn had no more energy to speak up at risk.
She also began to join the table conversation after a while distracting herself from Lynn.
Lynn thought it was still her fault so she tried to forget.
But, she said, Seleka has often turned her attention to Lynn ever since.
Seleka was concerned about Lynn.
Because she looked familiar to Lin.
(Is it my fault? That kid could have been in the factory that time when Illyweer put out the bridge of light. I guess I'm wrong. And it's very similar. But if so, how could a civilian class child be in a place like this...)
Seleka couldn't help but want to question Lynn, but he looked tired.
Speaking up can be annoying.
It's just that even Duke stabbed me with a nail earlier to keep me from speaking to him.
Seleka had to join the conversation surrounding the table with a good feeling.
Having given up interacting with the upper class, Lynn decided to get back on her mind and enjoy her meal.
(at least let's just eat something yummy and go home)
That's what Lynn decided to split up. Ask the servants in the dark to bring something delicious.
All the meals served to the tea party were delicious. No matter how much you eat, you never get tired of it.
That's how Yuven came back to his seat.
"Ah, Yuven, welcome back. This is delicious-- ah..."
Lynn was happy to see her back.
Her eyes were red.
I can tell it's a tear mark.
She seemed to be crying in the makeup room.
Lynn feels like she can't wait.
(I shouldn't have followed you. like this)
Lynn is used to this kind of treatment, but she won't be able to stand it.
Lynn looked abominably at the vibrant party venue.
I was hoping to smash everything right now.
Maybe that'll clear her mind a little too!
"Dear Lynn,"
I can speak from the darkness beside me.
"Yes, what is it"
"Sorry for the fun, but tonight's party is approaching. Thank you for coming home in order to avoid the crowds. Let's start with Lord Lynn and the people who take him. Let me show you to the exit."
"Okay.
Lynn stood up urged.
Yuven also follows in silence.
The two bypassed the hall to avoid the buzz of invitees and proceeded through the darkness.
The only thing I could count on was the faint light of the ring.
"Lord Lin."
Lynn was stopped just off the exit.
It was Duke's voice.
I forgot something.
Duke throws a rain at Lynn and gives it to him.
Lynn received Rain in the palm of her hand.
Rayne slept well, even though he was treated messily.
Looks like they did something magical.
"Take care on your way home, then"
"Um, Mr. Duke. Thank you for the ring. I'll pay you back."
"You don't have to return the ring. Instead, don't ever come in here again.
That said, Duke closed the door with a baton.
A carriage was available when Lynn went outside the building.
Looking at the building from the outside, the place, which was still a tea party venue, still has brilliant lights.
The servant already said it was open, but there was never any sign that the tea party would end.
Lynn stared at the lights only a little before getting into the carriage with Yuven.
In the carriage, Lynn saw Yuven's face chilling, but she didn't see her expression well because it was dim.
Lynn tried to rebut what had happened all day.
Brilliant venue, voice from the dark, Illywia smile, Yuven tears, all I got was a tiny ring.
For Lynn, upper-class and interactions have become bitter memories, like tea and grape wine that she drinks for the first time.
Duke was walking around the party venue frustrated.
He was running to stab nails at those trying to get close to Lynn.
They stopped calling Duke to ask who Lynn was and what she had to do with Ilywia.
Duke finally told them and made them listen.
Lynn doesn't come here anymore. You can't get into him, you can't have a special relationship.
You can't even make mischievous rumors about his relationship with Illyweer.
"What the hell are you thinking? Always this guy. Illywee is illywee too. That kid named Lynn. You're a slave boy! You know what happens when you look at a guy like that."
Duke looks abominably at the invitees who are making a long line of snakes to greet her.
They are thrilled that no one and he have been called out by Illywia to plead with them.
Despite the chilling words I was given earlier.
I figured out to Duke that their feelings were in hand.
I mean, this would be it.
Illyweer did say 'those who are not enough to take'.
But not just myself.
"Well, yes. Everyone would think if they could turn a smile on her. He said he was special. But that's because I don't know how horrible she is. Just to be heard by her, the soldier goes to the dead with joy and courage. Merchants go to the secret border to buy goods. And the Wizard goes to the top of the tower. Fools! Don't even know you're being molested. Unless she does, there's no way she's gonna speak to each of you."
Duke laughed mockingly.
"Look at me. I lost my freedom just to be put on her word. It's this zama. This happens because you have ambitions that don't suit your height. Now go home. Always go back where you belong. Neither do you, fairies. I was attracted to magic and swarmed shallow. Go home to your place!
Duke wields his wand at the gathering fairies and drives them away.
The fairies flee to scatter frightened by his sword screen and yelling.
"Yeah, it's always depressing. At least you're free! What are you unhappy about? Just go home where you deserve it!
"Hmm. You're tired"
At the end of the tea party, Illyweer went home to her room and rolled into bed.
In the end, her day ended with just a greeting to the invitees.
"Silf, tell me. That it was today's tea party. Especially about Lynn."
She had become a habit of listening to Silf after she was alone in the room.
Let them talk about what happened that day in the dark in Illywia.
The Spirit of the Wind shows up and whispers with his mouth in Illywia's ear.
She taught Illywia everything about what happened at the tea party today.
It's not just about appearances, it's about the actions and thoughts of people who were in the dark, even behind them.
"Yes. Duke was still doing a lot in the shadows. You left Lynn first...... Totally. Being a truly innocent man."
Illyweer looks sideways at a number of gifts and works of art from invitees.
These were pre-transported into their rooms after the tea party.
Illyweer compares the gift to Karat in the corner of the room.
Shall I open the gift lid and open the contents, or shall I play with the carat?
In the end, Illyweer decided to speak to Karat.
"Come. Karat"
When Illyweer speaks up, Karat rushes over honestly.
Illyweer pinches Karat's neck and brings it near his own face.
"It was a boring tea party. Hey, Lynn, I've had enough expensive gifts and just enough rhetoric. I want to have more fun."
Illyweer speaks to Karat in Wingard.
Karat tilts his neck.
Why doesn't she speak to me in magic that she understands, as usual?
"Lynn. You can't really play with me like this, can you? Oh, I'm bored."
