Tou no Madoushi

Episode 55: Yuven's Determination

On the way home from the Royal Tea Party, after getting off the carriage, Lynn and Yuven walked to the 90 tier elevator station.

Yuven's expression was calmer than when he was at the Tea Party venue, but he was as silent as ever.

Lynn managed to speak up a lot to cheer her up, but she didn't respond to anything.

Finally, Lynn throws a spoon as well.

(Well, I can't help it. They treat me like that.)

Meanwhile, I also think this was a good idea.

It's a good medicine.

I have to think so when I think back on Yuven's behavior so far.

The attitude of the party venue people and Duke was chilling, but on the other hand Lynn also thought it was common sense.

Lynn's eyes are changing.

Sure, Lynn had a longing for royal life, but she doesn't want to stand and flourish until she invites herself to ruin.

(Now you know Yuven too. He said there's nothing good about being upward oriented towards dark clouds)

Lynn recalled the strange things that have happened to her recently here.

It was a strange experience, I think.

Join Magrilheim and be invited to the Royal Tea Party.

It was like a dream, but it was a dreamy dream.

And the dream has already awakened.

(I was lucky enough to take a little peek at the upper-class society. You have to think so)

Lynn told herself that.

(Me and Yuven go back where we belong. All I have to do is live in Alfredo and Yuven marries his junior nobleman's brother. Happy with a whisper without a bad ambition)

But then what Yuven said was against Lynn's expectations.

"I'll go for the top of the tower."

"What?

Lynn asks back in surprise.

"I'll never forget this misery of the day. I'll make sure you get to the next level above them and get back at them. I'll definitely be a better magician than them, and I'll call them to the tea party and make them miserable."

"Yuven. Are you..."

(How many times have you been hurt by the world and beaten to the top of the tower?)

Lynn had something like respect for Yuven at the beginning of this time.

She should be the one who hurt me the most today.

Yet she says she still wants to go upstairs.

Surely the only way for her to get back at them would be to reach a hierarchy above them.

Lynn remembered when she was in Carele.

I was frustrated by helplessness without the art of being a home devastated by the war, and I was just standing there.

I couldn't do anything until it was picked up by Ewing. It was just hurting.

But Yuven is trying to get up on his own.

Lynn was driven by her desire to support Yuven asexually.

"Yeah. I think it's good. Ambitious people are nice."

The elevator with Lynn and Yuven reached the station at the entrance to the college. Get into separate elevators from here and go home.

By the time she got off the elevator, Lynn was looking forward like she was ready.

Do you want me to apprentice Yuven for a while?

I meet Theo all the time as Lynn and Yuven try to ride each of the elevators back to their residence.

Theo looked like he was bored by a fox.

"Theo, what are you doing? Here."

"Oh, Lynn. No, I'm on my way back to the club about the smuggling."

"Smuggling... that's what I would have done."

Yuven turns to face.

"So, how'd it go? I knew you were mad at me. Something to punish..."

"No, something complimented me"

"What? What do you mean?

"No, actually, it's just a tease."

Theo talked about what was said in the association.

"Excellent. I didn't know you built and operated your own elevator. The tower wanted people like you."

"Ha, ha"

Theo complained to the association's representative about what he had done and the legitimacy of it, then an unexpected reply came back and ate.

I was going to give it back to him if he was going to preach to me without a headache.

"Well, elevators can only be managed by tower associations. Then..."

"No, that's not true. It is true that most of the elevators currently in motion are under the control of associations and are taxed if they carry cargo, but there is no law that individuals should never build and operate elevators"

(Oh, did you)

"For once, there is a rule that the operation of elevators and commercial activities in Alfld require registration, but well it doesn't matter that much. Let's do the process here. I'll go back to the point where you started running the elevator and register."

The association's personnel will take the paper out of the drawer at hand and prepare the documents handily.

"Well, can I do business as usual?"

"Absolutely. More than that, have you decided on the way forward after college? If you haven't decided, make sure you aim for a higher hierarchy. Whatever you want, you can recommend it to a leading guild from me."

"So instead of being pissed off, I was rather pushed back"

Theo had a face that didn't fall, but on the other hand, it didn't seem full.

"Theo. Then..."

"Oh, yeah. That's something you appreciated because of me, and I guess I'll go for the top of the tower. It's as far as I can go. I'll see what I can do."

Lynn is getting happy.

At least because I'll be with Theo longer.

"Hmm. Well, I don't think you should go up there."

Yuven plays Theo as usual. She was totally back on track, too. It seemed like I was glad Theo was in the tower for some reason.

"I don't know. I can take billing ant classes as long as I can make money. You should be able to fight the nobles. Hey, Lynn."

"What?"

"What the hell. You want to be a great magician like the one who belongs to the top of the tower, don't you?

"I..."

"I wish I could go as far as the top of the tower as I can as long as I can do business, but I can support your tower strategy with the money I earn from my business. I don't know how far up we can go, but let's go together to the top of the tower."

Theo and Yuven look at Lynn.

Lynn stared straight back at the two of them.

"Yeah. Right. Let's all go for the top of the tower."
