Chapter 324: Explode on the Spot
Melody Monroe handed Rose Shaw a copy.
After all, Rose Shaw was the expert when it came to contracts.
She didn’t really understand them anyway.
Rose Shaw read through it carefully and, finding no issues, nodded at Melody Monroe.
"For now, this is the first season of the show," Felix Hughes explained to Rose Shaw. "If the reviews are good and it gets popular, we’ll develop a second season. For that, we’ll be selecting some regular cast members."
"If the opportunity arises, we hope for a long-term partnership," Rose Shaw said with a smile.
Her tone was as formal as any ordinary business negotiation.
The show had been greenlit so quickly because she had hinted to Felix Hughes that she wanted to sign as soon as possible. Still, his speed had exceeded her expectations.
"We haven’t set a date for the official start of filming yet. We’ll let you know the moment we have one."
"Alright," Rose Shaw nodded.
"Rose, you’ll be coming along when we start filming, won’t you?" Felix Hughes asked, looking at Rose Shaw with a hint of anticipation in his eyes.
"Of course. I’m Melody’s manager. If there’s nothing else, we’ll be taking our leave."
Rose Shaw stood up and extended her hand to Felix Hughes.
Felix Hughes froze for a second before quickly shaking it.
"Here’s to a successful partnership."
"To a successful partnership."
Felix Hughes walked Rose Shaw and Melody Monroe all the way to the parking lot.
"Rose, make sure you eat properly."
"Thank you for your concern," Rose Shaw replied politely. "Bye." With that, she stepped on the gas, and the car sped away.
She had to hurry back to the hotel and check on Keith Coleman!
Melody Monroe didn’t know why Rose Shaw was in such a rush, but she turned to Winter Kane and said, "Could you take me to a nearby mall first? I want to pick something up for Ian."
"Okay."

Rose Shaw arrived at the hotel, took the key card from her purse, swiped it to unlock the door, and pushed it open and went inside.
Keith Coleman was curled up on the bed like a shrimp.
The moment he saw Rose Shaw, he began to struggle violently.
"MMH! MPH! MMMMPH!"
Rose Shaw immediately walked over and pulled the sock out of Keith Coleman’s mouth.
"Hurry up and untie me!"
Rose Shaw quickly untied him, and Keith Coleman bolted for the bathroom.
He didn’t come out for a full ten minutes.
"If my kidneys are shot, it’s your loss!"
Rose Shaw rolled her eyes at him.
"Rose," Keith Coleman began, rubbing the sore wrists where he’d been tied, "so, uh... were we really that wild last night?" He’d blacked out, but he still had faith in his own abilities.
’She came right to my door. No way I’d let a catch like that get away, right?’
’It’s a real shame I don’t remember any of it, though.’
"Oh, you’re right. You were having a *very* wild time last night," Rose Shaw said, pulling out her phone. She showed Keith Coleman the video she’d filmed.
Keith Coleman’s expression grew darker and darker.
Cuddling a pillow...
’Is this for real?!’
He wanted to claw his own eyes out.
"Thanks for buying me drinks last night. And by the way, the contract was signed today without a hitch. I just came by especially to share the good news," Rose Shaw said. She put her phone away and, ignoring Keith Coleman’s miserable state, turned to leave.
Watching her back as she left, Keith Coleman wanted to just explode on the spot.

Melody Monroe browsed around the mall. Feeling a little uneasy, Winter Kane decided to follow her.
At this hour, the mall wasn’t very crowded.
Melody Monroe followed the directory to a toy store. Ian loved building-kit toys, so she planned to buy him some again.
This time, she’d learned her lesson and wouldn’t buy anything too complicated.
Otherwise, it would take Ian days to put it together, and he might not even finish.
