Director Wallace watched the scene, completely forgetting to yell "cut."

Melody Monroe was still immersed in the emotions of the role. Her brow furrowed slightly, and a sob caught in her throat. Her emotions were on the verge of collapsing, but she ultimately held them back.

The character of Willow Lynch was the type whose suffering was so profound she didn’t even dare to make a sound when she cried.

The onlookers watching this scene were all moved to tears.

"Cut!" Director Wallace shouted.

A wave of enthusiastic applause instantly erupted from all around.

"Oh my god! That was amazing!"

"Absolutely perfect!"

"This scene is just so heartbreaking!"

"I feel so bad for the character, Willow Lynch."

Willow Lynch came from a happy family and grew up like a princess, only to suffer such a drastic change of fortune!

Her father suddenly passed away, the family’s fortune declined, and her mother was diagnosed with cancer. To make matters worse, her father’s death was directly related to the father of the man she loved most!

She endured the heart-wrenching grief of losing a loved one and went abroad to seek treatment for her mother.

Only after her mother’s condition was brought under control did she return to investigate the cause of her father’s death. Yet, she was still in love with Julian Hale. She had always loved him.

Talia Mercer quickly walked over with an umbrella. Melody Monroe was still shedding tears nonstop.

"Here, wipe your face. And get this towel wrapped around you."

Melody Monroe wrapped the towel around herself. Noticing everyone was looking at her, she felt a bit embarrassed. She tried to smile, but the tears wouldn’t stop. "Sorry, so sorry. I got too into character."

Her reaction made everyone chuckle.

Up until now, everyone had only one impression of Melody Monroe.

She was too beautiful!

So beautiful that she seemed untouchable, creating an involuntary sense of distance.

Online, Melody Monroe had been given a nickname: the Living, Breathing Fairy.

Seeing this side of Melody Monroe today, they suddenly felt she was very down-to-earth.

Her acting was seriously hardcore!

Compared to her, she completely crushed Raymond Ford!

They suddenly realized that an actress like Melody Monroe—who might not have a huge presence normally, but who, when it was time to work, relied on her own skill and talent to nail almost every take in one go—was the type everyone loved to work with. Working with her was just so easy.

In contrast to the unanimous praise for Melody Monroe, Raymond Ford was in an awkward position.

Her scene wasn’t finished yet; she had to reshoot the part they had just done.

Melody Monroe hurried to change out of her wet clothes. Waves of cold washed over her, and she couldn’t stop shivering and sneezing, one after another. Even after changing into a thick set of clothes, she still felt freezing.

"Quick, drink some hot ginger tea to warm up," Talia Mercer said, quickly handing over a thermos.

Melody Monroe cradled the thermos in her hands, taking small sips.

Zane Langdon walked over from the side, having just changed his clothes as well.

"Is Raymond Ford still filming?"

"Still filming," Zane Langdon replied softly. "Director Wallace is using a body double."

"Oh," Melody Monroe nodded.

Director Wallace hated using body doubles the most. In a situation like today’s, Raymond Ford had forced his hand. He couldn’t just let Zane Langdon keep getting drenched in the rain with her.

"It’s raining so hard outside. How are you getting back to the hotel?" Zane Langdon asked.

"I’ll call a car later."

"I drove here. I’ll have Nola drive Talia Mercer, and you can ride with me."

"Okay," Melody Monroe nodded. She really just wanted to get back to the hotel as soon as possible and soak in a hot bath.

In the pouring rain, a man in a black suit with an imposing figure walked over holding an umbrella. When he saw the figure up ahead, he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

Zane Langdon was holding an umbrella, helping Melody Monroe by opening the car door for her.

His car was a sports car, deep blue, which seemed to suit his aura perfectly.
