"Last night, Zane did a livestream. When his fans saw him, they finally believed he wasn’t being harassed. Otherwise, he really would have been torn to shreds by those anti-fans!"

Melody Monroe picked up her bowl and continued to eat her porridge.

’Zane Langdon’s team really is impressive. They smoothed this whole thing over so painlessly.’

’But it’s strange that the media didn’t jump all over the story about Zane. And I wasn’t smeared by them, either. Could it be that Rose handled the PR behind the scenes?’

"It’s so infuriating! Someone on set must have taken these photos!" Talia Mercer said angrily. "To find angles like these, it has to be someone who’s been on set for a long time and doesn’t have much to do! If I find out who it is, I’ll drag them out and beat them to a pulp!"

Talia’s words made Melody laugh. "If you don’t want people to know, you shouldn’t do it. The truth might be late, but it always comes out."

"Right!" Talia nodded.

After finishing her porridge, Melody took a few pills.

"I’m going to sleep a little longer."

"You’re in such bad shape today. Why don’t you take the day off and get some proper rest?"

"No, it’s fine. I don’t want to hold up the filming schedule because of me."

...

Tommy gathered all the photos circulating online and placed them in front of Evan Fairchild.

His boss had ordered him to keep a close eye on everything related to Miss Monroe, so he had looked into the situation as soon as he found out about it.

"President Fairchild, Sean Coleman has already handled the matter. He protected Miss Monroe as much as possible, so she’s no longer being attacked by Zane Langdon’s fans."

Evan Fairchild flipped through the photos. Suddenly, his gaze froze on one of them.

Tommy snuck a peek. ’That photo was really... enough to set your teeth on edge.’

This photo showed Zane Langdon eating while Melody Monroe gazed at him, her eyes sparkling with a captivating light.

Evan Fairchild got up, walked over to the paper shredder, and fed the photos into it.

"Have Sean Coleman tell Zane Langdon that if he doesn’t want this to happen again, he should keep his distance from Melody Monroe."

"Yes, sir."

...

That afternoon, when Melody Monroe arrived on set, she heard that Raymond Ford had been filming in the rain for over two hours yesterday before finally finishing the scene.

The crew was still preparing the props for the scene she was about to film, so she wandered around the set by herself.

She still had the photos Talia Mercer had forwarded to her on her phone.

She compared them carefully and determined the position where the photos had been taken.

Leah Young walked over, carrying a thermal lunch box. She saw Melody Monroe pacing back and forth, as if trying to confirm something.

Melody had already seen Leah, but she pretended not to notice her. She stood in that spot and raised her hands to form a frame, aiming it directly at her own resting area.

A wave of guilt washed over Leah Young.

’Could Melody be trying to figure out where the photos were taken from?’

’Melody is standing in the exact same spot where I stood when I secretly took those pictures a few days ago.’

Melody suddenly turned her head and met Leah’s gaze.

Leah froze, startled, and immediately avoided Melody’s eyes.

"Leah." Melody walked over and greeted her.

"Melody, you’re here so early."

"Yeah."

"What were you just doing over there?" Leah asked, feeling flustered and deliberately probing.

Melody smiled. ’No need to guess anymore. It was definitely Leah! The more you try to hide something, the more you give yourself away.’

"I was rehearsing a scene."

"Oh, well, I won’t disturb you then." Leah left immediately.

As soon as Raymond Ford arrived on set, she couldn’t stop sneezing. She had caught a cold yesterday but didn’t dare to take the day off. Her performance yesterday had been abysmal, completely overshadowed by Melody, so even with a cold, she didn’t dare to stay home.
