He was waiting for Melody Monroe to get torn apart by Zane Langdon’s fans.

"Raymond Ford’s status is way higher than hers, right? Raymond is so approachable on set, never puts on airs, and doesn’t bother Zane Langdon! He’s practically the leading lady of this show! And Melody Monroe? Who the hell does she think she is? Always putting on that cold, aloof act! She really thinks she’s a big shot just because she slept her way up!"
"What’s going on? Let’s all talk this out calmly. No need to fight." Raymond Ford’s voice cut through the crowd as he took on the role of peacemaker.
"Raymond, you have no idea! You were kind enough to buy Melody Monroe a meal, kind enough to bring her milk tea, but she doesn’t give you the time of day! She wouldn’t eat the food you ordered, and she threw away the milk tea you brought her," one of the extras immediately tattled to Raymond Ford.
Raymond Ford was already fuming inside, so when this suddenly happened, it played right into his hands.
Many people on set knew that Raymond Ford was exceptionally considerate. For Melody Monroe to do something like that was indeed rather rude.
The people nearby began to whisper among themselves.
