Melody Monroe took out her phone, typed out a sentence, and showed it to Talia Mercer.

"People act, but heaven watches. It’s not that there’s no retribution; its time just hasn’t come yet." She was using the blogger’s words as her answer.

"Exactly!" Talia Mercer nodded immediately. "Just look at the heavens—they don’t spare anyone."

Melody Monroe took her phone back and continued to type: We caught Raymond Ford off guard. Once he recovers, he’ll definitely use the holes in this to strike back. We only have the first-mover advantage; we haven’t finished him off for good. Still, no matter what the truth is, when it comes to online drama, Raymond Ford is facing a genuine crisis.

Talia Mercer nodded. "He probably doesn’t have the time to deal with us right now. Melody, don’t you worry about it. Just rest up and get well soon. I’ll keep an eye on everything."

Melody Monroe nodded.

Suddenly, the phone rang. The caller ID showed Rose Shaw.

Melody Monroe handed the phone to Talia Mercer.

She really didn’t want to say a single word.

"Rose."

"How’s Melody doing?" Rose Shaw’s tone was laced with urgency and worry.

"Melody’s condition has stabilized."

"That’s good to hear. Make sure she gets plenty of rest. I’ll try to find some time to come see her later."

Melody Monroe immediately waved her hands at Talia Mercer.

"Rose, it’s fine. I’m here taking care of her. You’re so busy, you don’t need to make a special trip over."

"Alright then. If anything comes up, contact me anytime."

"Okay!"

Rose Shaw still had to handle the situation with Raymond Ford, which was a bit trickier. After hanging up, she started her car and drove off to find him.

Until she had confirmation on a few things, she wouldn’t give up on any of her artists.

She could only hope Raymond Ford wouldn’t waste her efforts.

Melody Monroe breathed a sigh of relief when she heard Rose wasn’t coming. ’In this state, how could I possibly show my face to anyone?’

Talia Mercer hadn’t even handed the phone back to Melody Monroe when it rang again.

"Zane!" Talia Mercer suddenly perked up as if she’d had a shot of adrenaline.

"Answer it, quick!" Melody Monroe urged.

Talia Mercer excitedly pressed the answer button.

"Melody, how are you doing now?"

"Zane, it’s Talia Mercer."

"Where’s Melody? How is she doing?"

"She’s fine, but she has to be under observation in the hospital for 24 hours. It’s not a good time for her to talk on the phone."

"I’ll come over to the hospital to see her in a bit. Send me her room number."

Melody Monroe frantically shook her head!

"No, that’s not necessary! I mean, Melody is saying you don’t have to go to the trouble."

Zane Langdon frowned, his eyes filled with worry.

"Zane, really, there’s no need. Melody had an allergic reaction, so her appearance is... well, she doesn’t want to see anyone right now." Talia Mercer explained the reason tactfully.

Zane Langdon understood. "Alright then. Tell her to get some rest."

"Okay, thank you, Zane."

Talia Mercer hung up the phone. Melody Monroe took the phone back and took a deep breath.

"Melody, Zane is so concerned about you! I’ve never seen him be this concerned about any other female star."

Melody Monroe rolled her eyes at Talia Mercer.

"If you two actually get together, I will ship you for the rest of my life!"

"Impoffible," Melody Monroe mumbled.

"How is it impossible? Don’t you like Zane?"

"I’m hif ham."

"Pfft!" Talia Mercer finally couldn’t hold back her laughter. "Melody, you’re hilarious right now."

Melody Monroe was speechless. She took out her phone and typed a line: Go get something to eat.

"I’m okay, I’m not that hungry. Besides, if I go, what will you do here all alone?"
