After four in the afternoon, the sky suddenly grew overcast. A strong wind kicked up, and a light rain began to fall.

Originally, this rainy scene was scheduled to be filmed after sunset using artificial rain. Unexpectedly, it had started to rain for real, though it wasn’t a heavy downpour.

"Looks like we’ll be shooting in the rain. If it’s not heavy enough, we’ll still need to add our own," Director Wallace said to the person beside him.

"No problem," Zane Langdon nodded.

"A scene like this fits the plot better anyway. We’d get soaked even with artificial rain. It’s just hard on the crew, since everyone will have to be out in it," Raymond Ford’s voice chimed in.

As always, she was maintaining her kind, considerate, and thoughtful persona.

"It’s all for the job. Alright everyone, let’s get ready!" Director Wallace glanced at Raymond Ford before addressing the crew.

Unsurprisingly, Raymond Ford’s thoughtful words won her another round of goodwill.

In contrast to Raymond Ford’s enthusiasm, Melody Monroe kept a low profile when she wasn’t filming.

Zane Langdon turned and suddenly said to Director Wallace, "Director Wallace, there’s something I’d like to discuss with you."

"What is it? Go ahead."

"Let’s cut the kissing scene between the male and female leads. The show’s plot is so rich, and the performances from the three main actors are brilliant, whether in their solo scenes or scenes together. We don’t need things like this for embellishment. I think cutting it might actually be more effective."

Raymond Ford was standing right there. Hearing his words, the fervent excitement that had been boiling inside her suddenly turned ice-cold.

Zane Langdon rarely offered his opinion, so for him to bring this up meant he definitely did not want to film the kissing scene.

Raymond Ford forced a smile. "What Zane said makes a lot of sense. I think so too. We’ll follow the director’s arrangements." She glanced at Zane Langdon, but he was already looking off into the distance.

Raymond Ford was about to explode, but she had to keep smiling.

Raymond Ford was the first to step into the rain. A wave of cold washed over her, and she couldn’t help but shiver.

’It’s so cold!’ Their costumes were thin and felt even colder once drenched by the rain.

Just as she stepped into the rain, it suddenly began to pour. She was so cold her face felt numb, and her mind went blank.

"Action!"

As Director Wallace’s voice rang out, a black car slowly pulled up.

Julian Hale opened the car door and stepped out.

Raymond Ford turned her head to look at Julian Hale.

At that moment, her mind was a complete blank. She only vaguely remembered her lines, and for today’s scene, she had the most dialogue. Even with a line prompter, she just couldn’t get into character.

"Julian Hale..." Raymond Ford’s lips moved.

"Get in the car with me!"

"No! Don’t! Please, stay out of my world from now on!"

"Stay out of my world? Holly Summers! You tell me, how do I kick you out of my world! How can I stop paying attention to you, stop thinking about every little thing that has to do with you!"
