A problem immediately occurred to Jasper Rockwell.

"If you’re going to join, Sean will never agree. You know this is an extreme sport—it’s risky."

"I’m a professional too." Zane Langdon scooted to the side, unable to stand Jasper Rockwell’s fawning.

’He really wondered if this guy was actually a Rockwell. He had none of the arrogance you’d expect from a rich kid.’

"We’ll never get it past Sean." Jasper Rockwell had no confidence he could convince Sean Coleman.

"What are you two talking about?" Sean Coleman asked, pushing the door open and walking in on quite a scene.

Zane Langdon was sitting in a chair with Jasper Rockwell leaning against his leg. They were incredibly close, and the sight made Sean freeze for several seconds.

As soon as Jasper Rockwell saw Sean Coleman, he scrambled to his feet. Talk about speaking of the devil.

Sean Coleman rubbed his nose, pushing the thought down.

He understood Zane Langdon very well.

But Jasper Rockwell... his preferences in certain areas weren’t exactly clear.

"I was just telling Jasper about the exhibition race," Zane Langdon said, breaking the silence.

"You want to go watch?" Sean Coleman asked, thinking that would be difficult enough on its own.

"No, I want to compete with Jasper Rockwell."

"WHAT?!" Sean Coleman’s voice shot up into a strangled squawk.

Jasper Rockwell immediately shot Zane Langdon a helpless shrug. Based on Sean’s reaction, he knew it was a lost cause.

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible! Do you have any idea what you’re saying?"

"I’ve already registered and submitted my eligibility documents." Zane Langdon pulled out his phone and opened a page displaying his personal information.

Sean Coleman was completely stunned. He shot a fierce glare at Jasper Rockwell.

"Not me! This has nothing to do with me! I just heard about it from Zane myself!" Jasper Rockwell explained hastily.

"Cancel it! Cancel it right now!" Sean Coleman exploded.

Zane Langdon was being completely reckless with his own safety.

True, Zane Langdon was a professional race car driver, but that was before his career took off. He hadn’t been behind the wheel in years!

What if something went wrong?

Who could possibly bear that responsibility?

Besides, Zane Langdon competing... can you imagine the media frenzy?

"I’m making the call on this one. Transfer two million into Jasper Rockwell’s account," Zane Langdon said, then went back to reading his script.

A wave of secret delight washed over Jasper Rockwell. He ignored Sean Coleman, who looked ready to explode, and whispered, "We don’t need that much. One and a half million is more than enough!"

"Then consider the other five hundred thousand a rental fee for the car."

"Thank you, Boss!" Jasper Rockwell was immediately fawning again.

Sean Coleman felt his head spin. He thought he might need to give himself first aid just to keep from passing out.

While Jasper Rockwell and Zane Langdon were speaking, there was a new development on the livestream.

All four teams had arrived at the rest area prepared by the production team.

Ahead of them was what looked like a field, which had been fenced off.

One person from each team held a mini-pig, awaiting the next task.

"Our next task is very simple. It relies on the piglet each team found, as well as a bit of luck. Here, we have four racetracks. Each piglet will be assigned to a track to complete a carrot-transporting mission."

"At the starting line, there is a basket of carrots. They must be transported to the finish line. The team that does it the fastest wins."

"Here, piggy, eat up! You need to run your little heart out for us in a bit!"
