Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray

Episode 71: The Pericritle Offensive Battle: Part Six

After 2pm on December 26th.

Ray was remembering Luke's peasant militia after joining the Saints.

In this battle, they had to put two hundred peasant militiamen on the battlefield, and he was thinking of placing them on the far right wing of the Periclitle army's avant-garde.

(This one is inferior to the enemy. It's close to a few matches, but I have to put those guys on the battlefield. But you don't have a commander in that unit, do you? You can't take one veteran off, or you won't be able to move properly without a commander...)

With that in mind, when I came near Alliance headquarters, I found a face I saw.

It was Hazel, the healer, the leader of the party where Luna was. She was pleading for something to the guild staff assigned to the command.

When we hear the story, apparently, Hazel hopes to be on the front line, and Alliance officials are distressed by the response.

Officials were hesitant to turn Hazel, the healer, to the front line and were proposing to turn her to the defense of the walls.

Hazel, however, either from his redemption for the loss of Luna, or from the avant-garde, who could cross directly with the Demons, was devouring.

Ray, who happened to be on the street, listens to the story and calls out to Hazel.

"This fight is pretty tough. If you can, I'd like you to try to restore your magic while defending the castle gate."

Hazel was not lost, he shook his neck to the side,

"This is still a fifth degree adventurer. Goblin opponents will have enough power. Please, turn me to the front."

I appeal to Ray with a desperate look, but he was afraid of how it looked.

(Looks like Mr. Hazel is pretty close to getting Luna caught. I don't think I have a choice because I've been made a puppet, Kutsuku, but with Mr. Hazel's arm, I wouldn't say he's a foot wrapper if he walks out on the front line, but it doesn't help much. You're usually the one who gives precise instructions... right! There was this hand!

Ray came up with leaving Hazel in command of Luke's peasant militia.

Hazel is often behind fans with Ryan, the same party member, who doesn't like melee fights. For that matter, her horizons were fairly broad and her party, which was sparsely manipulated, had achieved so much, largely due to her precise command. This is what fans of the beast men entrusted with the avant-garde always said, and Ray remembered that.

Ray turned to Hazel and said, "Okay. I'll have you turn to the avant-garde," he said with a smile.

She nodded loudly satisfied with it and asked, "Which unit should I join?"

"I ask Mr. Hazel to take command of Luke's peasant militia unit. I was having trouble without a commander in that unit. Mr. Hazel has a wide field of view, and he's calm, so don't worry, I'll take care of it."

Hazel panics when he hears he will command a unit of two hundred men.

"Two hundred... not about a fifth of the big troops in the avant-garde. I can't command anything like that. We need to leave it to someone with mercenary experience..."

Ray blocked her words and said, "I can't. Anyone who can fight on the front lines wants to turn it forward. I can't afford that much," he shook his head sideways. And he continued his words with a slightly sad face.

"I really don't even want to send out peasant militias. Those people don't even have busy training, do they? If it's true, proselytizing soldiers will be more of a force for war. But the defense of the castle gate is the key to the escape of the citizens when this battle is defeated... I can only leave this to the prostitutes. So..."

Hazel realized to the words that this battle was really tough.

"Okay. I'll do what I can. But how are you going to use those people?

"All those people can do is move forward with the signal and stick out the spear. So we're going to replace the walls that keep the Goblins' troops from going around behind us. I'll tell them the details."

Ray headed with Hazel to where Luke's peasant militia units were gathering.

The peasant militias had defeated many oaks in city warfare and were more morale than usual. When Ray shows up, everyone gathers in front of him and starts talking about their activities verbally.

"Listen to me, Master Arklight! I defeated two Orc Demons! I think I killed three orcs, too! ……

"I know you were just sticking out your spear while you were freaking out! Master Arklight! You knocked me down with some fine armored bastard! ……

Ray was thinking of something else, nodding at it.

(Seems really happy because for the first time people expected me to achieve results. I was happy when I found out Ash was expecting me too, so I know exactly how it feels...)

He couldn't stop his pessimistic thoughts floating as he responded with a smile.

(I wonder how many of these people will survive this. Even goblins say it's the fighting power of these people. Below each other. If I panic, I'll be ravaged in no time... can I put these people on the battlefield? These people have nothing to do with this city. Yet you can go to die...)

He smiles and nods at the story of the peasant militias, hiding such an inner mind. And he summoned Angus, the summariser of the peasant militias, the second son of the village chief of Fiscal Village.

"After this, there will be a field battle. I need you all to take a stand on the battlefield, too. The enemy is a goblin, so he's considerably weaker than the orc he just fought. But there are no walls, so it's extremely dangerous."

Angus was afraid of Ray's words, which he spoke of as dangerous with a serious look on his face.

"What should we do?

Ray laughed two collies,

"Mr. Hazel here is your captain. All you have to do is get Mr. Hazel to do what he says."

The peasant militiamen said nothing to Hazel, a young woman in her mid-twenties, but they can't hide their astonishing gaze.

Ray realized that,

"Mr. Hazel is a young woman, but she's a fifth-level adventurer and party leader, so don't worry about it at all. And if you mean younger, I'm much younger."

Give me that look you put aside.

Angus nodded to him,

"That's what Master Arklight says! Everybody! Let's hear what Master Hazel has to say and give him another hand!

In that voice, the peasant militia said, "Ooh!" The voice responds.

Ray smiled and Hazel watched with a slightly drawn face.

And Ray gives Angus and the other peasant militias instructions about the fight.

"I ask you all to move not to let the goblins turn behind your allies. Goblins are small, so stick out your spears and you won't get anywhere near them. So let's all breathe together..."

And after about five minutes of explaining, head down gently toward the hazel.

"I'll take care of these people. I'll get Mr. Randall ex-post approval."

That's what he said and left the spot as he responded with his hands up to the peasant militias.

Hazel was left with the thought of being dazzled by the weight of his own responsibilities.

(Looks like Ray had something on his mind about me dying. But I can't believe I'm saving two hundred lives... if I were to say that, that kid would laugh at me. I'm not even twenty years old yet, but I'm saving tens of thousands of lives... and I need to get in the mood too!

When she slapped Pern and her own cheeks with both hands, she began to check with Angus about the formation of troops and the handling of weapons.

Stella was still in the flaming East Side with fifty scouts of "Who" scouts of the rehearsal.

They are each equipped with a short bow, Short Bow, to ambush from the rear of the Demonic Army.

They creep through the East Gate, unbroken by Orvo and the rest of the Great Ghost Clan, lowering themselves and proceeding through the meadows.

(My role is to confuse the enemy. The scoundrels (these people) can only cause confusion to the ghosts, but I can also cause confusion to the great ghosts. If Luke's Beast Squad could help, he would defeat the enemy commander...)

Stella was accidentally spoken to by Radice, the beast man who was beside her, and saw Vikri and him.

"Are you trying to be unscrupulous by yourself? If you're alone, you can kill your enemies... But think about Ray. He should be using us effectively. No, I would definitely use it. If it weren't for you then, sometimes measures would have been made. Are you ready for that? Then I won't say anything."

Stella lost the word to return to the word.

(This guy is right. I'm the one who knows most about Master Ray. So I'm the best person to do what he thinks. The only time I can stab him differently from the enemy commander is after he's about to end up in a predicament. What are you gonna do if I don't believe in that one...)

Stella says to Radice, "Thank you," and bows her head. Ladis said, "Thank you for what?," he laughed, tapping lightly on her shoulder, tightening his expression again.

Ray was behind Luke's peasant militia, but he was caught by someone who was in front of the Alliance's headquarters.

It was the researcher of the academic city of Doctus, Professor Lionel Raspade, who caught him.

"Mr. Arklight, could you give me a moment? No, I know you're busy. Yeah, it'll be done in a minute."

Ray looks at Raspade in surprise, but stops reluctantly when he is told it will be brief.

"What, it's easy. I want to be on the battlefield, too. I'm in the Mage Squad. Call me if you need anything."

Ray opens his eyes to Raspade's words.

"The teacher is on the battlefield! but......"

"I also went into the woods every day about a hundred years ago as part of my field work. Besides, I hear the Sorcerer Squad will retreat once they've shot out all the magic. I don't think it's too dangerous.

Ray couldn't understand Raspade's thoughts.

"Excuse me, what are you going to be on the battlefield for? Will you follow orders from the command?

Raspade looked unexpected,

"Of course, I'm going to follow orders from Commander Ogburn. Um, is that why I'm on the battlefield? There are two things..."

That's what he says and stands two fingers.

"First of all, you want to see the battle of the Great Haunted with this eye. Because earlier annihilation battles could not be called battles. Confirm with this eye the ability of the individuals of the Great Ghost Nation, who are also said to outnumber the Dragon Man. That's one of the reasons."

"What's the other reason?

"Mm-hmm. This is about the Great Ghost Clan, too, but I'd like to confirm their resistance to magic. To what extent can you endure my fire attribute magic, it is said to be an august endurance, but is it really to the same extent? Make sure of that."

"Does the teacher himself shoot in magic?

"Mm-hmm. I seem to be the most level-headed sorcerer here. I or you will be the only one who can use the magic of defeating the Augusta Class with one blow. In your case, the flavor is original magic, so you can't match the data against the previous augs. I can use magic that other researchers can understand. That's what I'm saying."

Ray had a slight fear of Raspade, who would not forget about the study even when he got here.

(Everything is the subject of research for this guy. Including in people's lives and deaths... I guess I'll never understand. But Dr. Raspade is a high-ranking magician with about eighty levels. Only against the Auga and Great Ghost tribes, one teacher would be more powerful than two hundred peasant militias. If as many magicians as your teacher join the fight, you might win......)

Raspade speaks up against Ray, who thinks.

"Yeah, well, I need a favor."

"What is it?

"If I can capture the Great Ghost Warrior, will you hang the magic of the puppet Kutsu? Because the Demons will harm themselves if they are captured, they will also perpetuate the life of that person. Well, if they catch you, fine. I don't think I can afford this fight either."

That's all he said, he said, "You made me take time," and left.

Ray heard the words and reminded us that even if we win, we have no choice but to kill all our enemies.

(Without needing to be told by the teacher, demonic warriors choose to die if they are enough to be prisoners. If you win, there will be piles of demon bodies on this plain... there are only four or five more puppet demon props left. So that's all we can keep the Demons alive. Kill all opponents who can communicate with the will by turning. That's not what people do!

He was angry at the leadership of the demonic tribe, which was strong in such a battle.

(Force your fellow countrymen to commit suicide in order to keep a secret. We use innocent people for our own ends to create demons... we can't possibly be allowed to think this fanatically! I don't know how poor a land called Kwaedam Tenebre is, but at least we can't live! If the guy who grabbed Luna thinks the same thing, he definitely has to stop the ritual. When this battle is over, it's going to be a big deal if you don't help Mr. Tsukiya...)

When this battle was over, he was determined once again to go beyond Aquila - the Great Mountains of the East - to the land of the Demonic Nation, Kwaedam Tenebre.

When Ray got to Command, a soldier's voice sounded inside the Alliance watching the enemy's trends.

"The Demon Army is on its way to the North Gate! Almost all of them have begun marching towards the North Gate!

The beginning of the second act of the battle, later known as the Pericritle offensive, was announced.
