Trinitas Mundus

Episode Seventy: Settlement: Later

Tria history October 8, 2025, 4: 00 pm.

The time has finally come to settle for the Battle of Millis Valley, which lasted two whole days.

As the Tamers retreated, the remaining oak attacks were monotonous.

In exchange, the snowflake-burning knights' movements were so fierce that even the veterans of the Marcut Mercenaries (Red Arms) saw them.

Among them, the work of Victor Rockletter, the Knights' leader at the head of the knights, was remarkable, and the attack, which seemed forceful, even terrorized the fearless oaks.

He wields a sword commensurate with his body and buries the orcs one after the other.

The knights, who had done no harm, had joined the captain even more, and at 3 p.m., thirty minutes after the start of the battle, they had broken through a strong wall of meat built at the Narrow Road exit.

At that point, the orcs had prevailed better on number, but as a group of knights in command turned behind them from the breakthrough, the situation leaned towards the knights at once.

Orcs without commanders are divided into one small group after another and destroyed by each.

Further successive knights arrived, and at 4: 00 p.m., an hour and a half after the start of the battle, they had lost all sight of the oak standing on the battlefield.

At this point, there were seventy-five war fatalities in the advance party who fought in Millis Valley.

Ninety-seven people were injured, including minor injuries.

With the exception of Alberic and other ambush units, two days ago, the advance party, which had two hundred and five men, had actually done more than eighty percent of the damage.

Even the elite and prestigious Mercenary Corps of Markat had sent out more than twenty casualties of war, combined with the casualties of the war when they were ambushed, and had lost nearly fifty or forty percent of their companions.

Particularly high losses were incurred by mercenaries in the upper to fifth classes of the sixth class, with notable losses for those in their thirties.

They, they, were struggling to follow the survival and prostitutes of the second squadron of the young Third Battalion, even in situations that usually pulled.

This later led to the Red Arms becoming more prestigious.

5pm.

Almost all of the main units of the Demonic Crusaders arrived at the exit of the narrow road, which was the battlefield.

Having finished sweeping the remaining enemies, the Knights had set up a camp in the middle of the meadow to begin treating the wounded in the advance party.

King Lionel XII, who arrived with the rear of the squad, saw the bodies of hundreds of starting rotting oaks and more than seventy recovered advance squadrons, always obliterating a constantly gentle look at their miserable battlefield appearance.

But soon, he tightens his mind and labors the soldiers.

"Thank you for your hard work. I will reward you for what you've done..."

But the soldiers in the tired advance party, just mechanically responding to it, did not react as enthusiastically as they had received in the Wang capital.

(The rest of the words do not echo the hearts of the soldiers. Even the mercenaries show no interest in the prize. Why......)

He summons Hamish Markat, the leader of the Markat Mercenary Regiment, who had been in command for the entire two days.

"Sincerely brilliant work this time. I'll give you the prize you want."

In contrast, Hamish bows his head deeply, wishing for consideration for those he fought with.

"Treat the wounded. And take care of the dead and wounded."

The king nodded to eagle fried,

"That's natural. The Knights' healers still nurse generously. Tomorrow will also come the priests of the Light Divinity. Promise generous grace to the wounded and fallen heroes. On top of that, let's hear what you want."

In contrast, Hamish kept his head hanging, and after about ten seconds of silence, with a slightly trembling voice,

"My hope...... is in the prompt rescue to Fort Chulock. There's no other hope."

Viktor, who was holding back beside him, says, "He seems tired from a fierce battle," causing Hamish to descend from before the king.

The remaining king gets here and finally realizes his own failure.

(The look on the mercenaries' faces, plus Markat's sad face. The only thing left to think about is giving the soldiers who defended their country a prize. This lapse was caused by Arwell Kilgaroho, who left the rest to his life. The rest should have apologized and thanked them first...... I thought that giving the soldiers, the civilians a grace award, gold would suffice......)

In order to convey his gratitude to the wounded soldiers, he was rocked by horses and whipped by his weary body to the soldiers' tent.

The hour goes back to 2: 30 p.m. when the Knights main team arrived.

The two captains of Troop Three, Lazareth Duwell and Stella, who were fighting guerrillas in the streets, were knocking down several oaks and running around further in the woods.

Initially, I notice that the movements of the orcs, who were stubbornly chasing them around, suddenly became dull.

"Ha ha, their movements have changed. What do you think?"

Lasalles takes a rough breath and listens to Stella's thoughts.

She shook her head to the side,

"I don't know. But doesn't that mean you could have done something more important than go after us?

"Right. I feel like I can't get away from the streets anymore. Looks like you're guarding the streets... the enemy's not coming after us. It's no use setting me up any more. All right, I'll pull you up."

The two moved away from the streets and began to travel south through the woods to bypass the battlefield.

Around the same time, the Demon Army general, Yurki Bindler of the Middle Ghost Nation, was headed east on the street in disillusionment.

In the rear, the sound of the battle is becoming more intense, making it feel like enemy reinforcements have arrived. And even in the streets they went on, they had received reports that the orcs on their side had been defeated and set on fire even more.

(It is possible that enemy raiders are lurking. Our enemies may follow us from behind. We need to retreat quickly... but there must be an enemy bowman lurking somewhere. Could be sniped right through the woods......)

He, too, had become more afraid of the enemy bowman Alberic than he had to, just like Asla Volti, a winged demon spell who feared Ray.

"Reinforce street security! Make sure there are no enemies lurking within 100 meters of me. You can ignore enemies farther away than that!

He goes down the street, lowering his posture.

(Good thing Lord Asla did what he said. If I had stayed on the battlefield, I could have been pinched by enemy reinforcements and assault forces. They're strong. Far stronger than the story of a fellow who was fighting in the "South”. Apparently, we've encountered the enemy's elite. Should I think I was just lucky to have a life...)

His appearance seemed so humiliating that he did not seem to be the person who had ordered the dignified pursuit two days earlier.

Around the same time, the Winged Demon Spellman, Asla Volti, had spotted and joined Balthazar Owomoela, the Great Ghost Operator (Tamer) heading west down the street.

"Enemy reinforcements are here. Yurki will be retreating soon."

Balthazar does not change his expression and asks her in a tone that can be described as clerical.

"What are you going to do?

"I'm retreating, totally. 'Cause less than a quarter of the main oak that was there was three thousand. Plus, I lost more than half of my wing demons, and I don't know how much enemy reinforcements I have, but if I stick to Turok, I'm gonna wipe them out."

Balthazar meditates on his eyes for a few seconds or so and turns back to Asura.

"Got it. Our aim is to nail our enemies. Stir up enemies based in the abandoned village of Denwood, further back from Chulock. That's all right."

She nodded loudly, "I'll go ahead and get ready to retreat," and flew away east.

Balthazar, left behind, turned to the west after ordering Chulock to turn back.

(Again with that “white sorcerer”... he is a mighty enemy, but it is troublesome when he goes south... but do we have to attract so many sorcerers? That's going to be a pretty tough fight......)

He didn't think Ray was a mercenary.

Usually there is always beside enemy general Hamish, who is not insulted as a warrior or general, and has the authority to act alone in times of crisis. With so much authority, I couldn't even imagine a magician who would use more magic than a magician from the Demons, especially the Winged Demons, who specializes in magic, being just a soldier.

(Probably the leader of the Mage Squad. He looks young, but there are also examples of elves and dragon men. If we can contain that person, the plan should be a success…)

After he glanced west again, he turned back east.

5pm.

Ray continued to hang his healing magic in the tent where the wounded were housed.

Treatment was provided for serious injuries that were difficult to treat in normal healers, especially those who suffered major head injuries or had ribs pierced their guts.

(Fourth person? I don't condone magic, but a lot of people are still in dangerous conditions. I'm only doing what I can, but two or three more are the limit... and yet, what happened to Stella, Mr. Alberic, and Mr. Renzi?

Where he begins treatment for the fourth, twitching occurs outside the tent.

He was also concerned about the reason, but was devoted to treatment.

"I'm an injured man, I wonder if I can ask for it"

Alberic's voice was heard and Ray looked up unexpectedly.

Alberic stood at the entrance to the tent, holding the Berta of the Wang Tiger clan, who together carried out the night raid.

"You were safe. Good. Stella said," Mr. Renzi. "

"We split on the way. I haven't come back yet. Better yet, treat Berta. He hit me hard in the head. I couldn't do it."

Berta had traces of blood bleeding out of her head, and her face was not vibrant and unconscious.

Berta's symptoms were heavier than she thought, and Ray had a serious look and a curative magic hanging.

When Ray starts treatment, Alberic gives a rough explanation next to it.

"I succeeded in sniping enemy commanders, but the orcs chased me around. Along the way, we split into a group of Lazares, Renzi, Stella and me and Berta... I think Lazares did something because there was smoke up in the street..."

(Someone seems to have survived. Still, there is hope. Stella, please stay safe...)

"I think maybe this will be okay. If you don't wake up, I'll hang the healing magic again. By the way, don't you have to go to the captain's report?

"Yeah, I'm coming now. I was worried about Berta. Bye."

Alberic headed to the Knights' tent in search of Hamish in a foothold that did not leave him feeling tired.

Left behind, Ray was surprised that Alberic, who sometimes makes what could be termed a cold decision, worried about his injured companion and put the report behind him.

(I thought Mr. Alberic was a drier guy. No, I can't. I don't have eyes for people at all...)

And then again, outside the tent, it creeps.

Immediately a man in luxurious armor dived into the entrance to the tent.

The Knights' healers fall on one knee at a time and bow their heads.

"Your Majesty. Why are you in such a place?

Ray landed on one knee like any other healer, bowing his head, stealing a peek at the king.

(Your Majesty? Speaking of which, the king is with you, someone said. I didn't realize you were busy...... but you don't have to come in the way of this busy)

After the king declares, "Never mind, continue with the treatment," he speaks out to the wounded.

Ray heard the words and immediately stood up and headed towards the next seriously wounded.

The king notices Ray's white armor, the snow coat (Nixwestis), and asks the Kingsguard knight - a princely man in his mid-twenties - for his qualities.

"What about him? From what I've seen, it looks like the Saint Knight of Lukes, though?

"I hear you're a healer for the Mercenary Corps of Markat."

"Right. Still, don't keep a pretty good arm. It treats those with the most severe symptoms. Later, as soon as that man's hand is free, take him to the rest."

The Kingsguard knight replied, "Ha," bowing his head deeply.
