Trinitas Mundus

Episode 62: Unwiped Disbelief

After 2pm on March 3rd.

The Rays tried to stroll through the city of Luberna, but security throughout the city was stepped up on the grounds of ensuring Luna's safety. For this reason, he returned to the temple without fulfilling the purpose of saying he was breathless.

But the security of the temple was similarly strengthened, and we were unable to return secretly. More guards on guard are charged with spying on ghosts and asked to accompany them to the guard's quarters.

In order to contact Varma Niska, Ray secretly gives instructions to Uno of the Beast Slave Squad and heads to the jail as instructed by the guard.

The guards' quarters were located slightly away from the back entrance of the temple. The building is heavily stoned, with many soldiers constantly in and out, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

The Rays were put in one of the rooms of the stall according to the guards, but in the priestly position, albeit apprenticeship, and Ione, who became Luna's entourage, was angry at this treatment.

(I can't believe I didn't even realize I worshipped your son's honorable face in a place like this! These people will have to be punished later...... but this is also my fault. If you want to inconvenience your child in the future, you'll have to consider declining this honor...)

Around that time, Uno, instructed by Ray, was traveling at high speeds, taking care not to be blamed for seeing inside the Temple of Darkness.

But there was no sign of Varma, the person he was looking for. Even more so, there was no appearance of Elise Nortier, the “Witch of the Moon”, a rare haste for him.

(My men also use it, but I can't find the appearance of Lord Ellis, Lord Varma. I don't even know Lord Maryana. Where did you go...)

He contemplated making contact with Marjana Livio, one of the clergy and face-to-face with him. But the girlfriend wasn't in the temple either.

In the absence of a knowledgeable cleric, Uno thought it was not the intention of Ray, the Lord, to take more time. And I found a female cleric and decided to make contact.

Its cleric Anelma Frostel was also present during Luna's ritual of spiritual recovery and subsequent explanations of Elis, who decided that the clear sequence was sufficiently high of the unknown and had the authority to order the guards.

Uno pounds one knee as soon as he shows up in front of Anelma. And they started talking before they said anything.

"The Son of the Moon has been taken by the Guardian," he told the single-handedly. She said, "What?," but he ignores it and keeps talking.

"My Lord, Lady Ray Arklight, has commanded me to tell Lady Varma Niska or Elise Nortia about this, but neither of you is in the temple. We decided it was urgent, and we reported it to you in disgust."

"Your son..." Anelma hurries, but doesn't recognize the beast man in front of her and hesitates to take action.

"Do you have any proof that you are under the authority of the White Mage? First of all, you can't have your son in custody."

Uno suppresses his impatient mind and explains it calmly.

"There is no evidence that it is under Master Arklight's command. But it is true that Master Luna is about to be detained. Assuming my words were wrong, I was wondering if it would do anyone any harm."

A magician with combat experience like Keira Lyvio of the Winged Demons would have taken immediate action in his words. But she was used to following the instructions of Elise and Varma and was not comfortable taking her own actions.

Around that time, Elise and the others were praying to the gods in a chapel in a cave about five km (Kimmel) from Luberna. The place was an important facility for a demon tribe before Luberna could do it, where only high-ranking clerics could get in.

"Ask for instructions from Master Varma... but Master Varma is not in this city right now. Dear Elise... what can I do..."

Uno instantly nursed that the cleric in front of him was not decisive. Though I regret that I missed the nomination, I thought it would be quickest to get this person to move in order to help the Rays.

"Make your decision immediately. Before you buy Luna's discomfort."

To encourage him to make a decision, he thought such a person was weak in authority and put up a threat. But that goes out the back.

"I will report your child's unhappiness to Lord Varma immediately. You wait here."

When I say that, I start getting ready to go outside, but I call soldiers who are outside to keep an eye on Uno. The soldier who came in had the look of something and perplexity as he held Halvard in the arms of a man of tribe.

"This man says he is under the command of the White Mage. But I don't have any proof. You may be among the enemies, so keep your eyes open."

Uno was disappointed with Anelma and tried to walk away, saying, "If you are not acted upon directly, I will speak to another cleric". But a soldier says, "Don't go against the word of the priest," and sticks a halvard to Uno.

The difference between the power of the uno and the soldier is overwhelming, so it can be easily rendered powerless, but making more noise here later weighs itself down when the Rays interfere with their actions.

"I'm sitting there waiting for you. If you make any strange moves, I'll kill you."

I have no choice but to sit in a chair in my room, as the soldier commanded me.

Instruct Nuebe, a subordinate who sits but lurks in the ceiling, to find another cleric. Nuebe's figure soon disappeared, and Uno meditated his eyes as if to meditate.

(Master Arklight has Seis and Ocho. I wish I could move another cleric with Nuebe and Dies... this time it's my fault. We should have advised that measures needed to be taken when we found out that security had been strengthened......)

He himself hasn't noticed, but he would have thought only of faithfully adhering to orders when he was serving a light divine executive.

Because in phototheism those whose results often did not work as instructed were disposed of, and by then the Beastman Slave Troops were feared.

But now they often move at their own discretion to protect Ray. There were no clear instructions this time, but we have decided on a liaison and escort officer to secure an escape route in order to prepare for further unforeseen circumstances.

(... we still have time. The departure at 4 p.m. is in preparation for the unforeseen, and given the time of the arrival of the ghosts, there should be more than two hours to spare… Then this situation must be resolved without conflict with the Temple of Darkness. What I do now is not in line with Lord Arklight's thinking. Don't rush......)

Silent as if meditating, but in my heart I was thinking about that.

Nuebe, who received Uno's life, turned to him in order to report to Ray. Follow the traces left by Ocho, the escort, and run to fly to the guards' quarters.

The stuffing is a heavy stone building on three floors. And while it is still a day that cannot be disputed in the dark, it was easy for him to break in without anyone blaming him.

Go near the vent behind you, check the perimeter, and then use a thin rope to head to the upstairs window. Peek inside, make sure there are no signs of people, and quietly open the window and go in. The window was easily locked from the inside, but it does not pose any obstacle to Nueveh, a first-rate intermediary.

(Master Arklight and the others are being interrogated? If you screw around any more, it won't taste good...)

Quietly and quickly moving through the stuffing. Fewer people than I thought because the guards are paying by Varma's instructions.

Join Seyce and Ocho in the stuffing. We exchanged information quickly and headed to the room where the Rays were.

Ione suddenly explains to the guards in the room, but the Rays sat calm.

Nuebe made a brief report to Stella using a code that would be passed on to the Beastman unit. The codes themselves had few vocabularies, but it was told that Varma and the others were absent and could not be contacted, and that they were trying to contact an alternate person.

Stella nodded softly, worried about how she should tell Ray next door, but she whispered that time was wasted "Lord Varma is absent. I'm looking for another person," he mutters to himself. Ray nodded small, though surprised for a moment.

Ray is discouraged by the information that Varma and the others are absent, but is relieved that the Unos have a good idea of where they are.

(I don't know how they're chasing us, but if Uno and the others know where we are, there's no problem. The rest is how long it will take, but Lord Varma and the others will be back before departure time. That way, I can get out of here right away. You don't have to rush...)

Ray told Stella that "securing contact is paramount" to a small extent, and Stella told Nuebe about it.

He was optimistic, but Luna was starting to get frustrated.

She was angry that she had been struck like this the day after she said she wanted to eliminate racial discrimination.

(You agreed so much then... I wonder why soldiers of the same people discriminate because Ione is a human being... Pericritle of course, but this never happened in the Caerm Empire. I was a civilian, but I was also treated properly in a noble mansion. So did the others. And yet I can't believe this happened in a country called Sochius, which is on an equal footing... not even in this country. Ghosts also looked down on people and beasts...)

She lived in the home of the adventurer who helped her after being helped out of the village where she was born and raised. The adventurer is the second son of a nobleman, who travels with the people of his house, including the Imperial capital Plymouth and the king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum, Ars. At that time, the Marquis family had also visited, but Luna, a civilian, had never been treated in a discriminatory manner.

She hasn't noticed herself, but that's just that the environment she was in was special and it's not normally possible.

She was just a high school student in Japan, she didn't know what a class society was, and she was in a more special environment, so she made a big mistake.

If I thought I'd let this country change here, I'd have headed in a good direction. But I don't have that much temper for my regular girlfriend.

I still can't believe that I'm going to be the leader of the country. Of course, there is a desire to make society better, but it has not yet become a clear purpose and will.

Next to her, Ray was small, "They don't have Lord Varma. It'll take a little while, but be patient," he muttered. Luna said, "What? He asks back," and the guard who blamed it on him commands him to "not speak at will" with high pressure.

This guardian was a young man of a serious and faithful people to his duties, but for that matter he lacks imagination and is bound by the stereotype that all important figures in this city are demonic.

For this reason, I had no hesitation in leaving under high pressure against the Rays, the young men and women of the people.

Ashley puts herself at ease with that attitude, but hardly cared because of her long mercenary life and the frequent treatment she received. And Ray and Stella aren't in that much of a hurry because we have the means to contact them, although it takes time too.

It was Ione and Luna who were angry at the attitude of the Guardian in this, and Ione in particular could not bear to see the beloved Son of the Moon subjected to such irrational treatment. For this reason, he responded to the guard in such a harsh tone that he would not normally use it.

"How many times do I tell you! Send your superiors to the head of the Temple Guard immediately! It'll be over as soon as he gets here!

The guard wandered slightly on the sword screen, but did not have the courage to call his superiors in a situation where he had not even obtained information about the suspicious.

"Okay, let me check out all the orbs. Decide whether to call the length on it. Then it's from the man there."

I know Ray's a hassle, but I honestly followed him.

When he showed the orb of his arm, the guard was surprised that it was not the orb of Sochius and immediately ordered his captivity.

"An intruder from an enemy country! Hit the rope!

The Nueves watching from the ceiling thought about moving for a moment, but it's on my mind because Ray shook his neck to the side of the ceiling as he said, "Everybody be great".

Ashley perceives Ray's intentions and raises his hands to show irresistible willingness. Likewise, Stella had both hands up. Luna expressed the same irresistible willingness to leave it to his discretion, although she was surprised to learn that the Rays were going to be roped in great numbers.

Only one, it was Ione who defied. She said, "disrespectful!," he shouted, trying to resist.

"Mr. Ione, resisting any more will annoy Luna," Ray said, so he stopped resisting even as he tided his face to anger.

The Rays were taken possession and struck with rope.

And when the interrogation was about to begin in that state, a loud voice was heard at the entrance to the filling.

"Let me through right now!

"But there are enemies inside..."

"Shut up! We're taking you to your son right away!

The Lord of that voice was Varma Niska.

And when the door opens rampantly, I'm stunned to see Luna struck with a rope.

"You have to untie the rope immediately!

After ordering so, lay flat at Luna's feet. The guards around him couldn't believe that Varma, the Moon Demon, lay flat, and watched him starkly. But he immediately moved to untie the rope.

"Everything is this Varma lapse. What can I apologize to your son..."

"You didn't seem to understand anything about my story yesterday," Luna says coldly, worried about the rope marks.

"Now you may not be able to go see the ghosts. I don't think the upward ghost tribe will listen to me..."

At this time, Luna was losing confidence.

A Luberna soldier who should have been in tears in yesterday's speech doesn't understand his story at all. Even if we could persuade the ghosts in Lowni, we were as forgotten over time as we were this time, and we were anxious that we might not be able to head west from Zaleshe.

"Be confident. People don't change quickly. But it can change."

That's what Ashley says to comfort Luna.

"Ash's right. People don't change that quickly, but there's someone who understands. So be confident."

Shake your head sideways small on Ray's words.

"But I... can't change people's minds. That guy's heart didn't change either. So I ran away from him..."

Luna's voice was small and did not reach Ray. Even if it arrived, I wouldn't have found a word to hang it.

I was concerned about Ray's loss of confidence, but the time for departure was already running out and I never hung up any more words.

Ray asks Varma not to punish the guards.

"These people hit Luna with a rope without knowing. So don't be guilty."

And added in a voice that only she could hear.

"If we punish you here, Luna will be increasingly distrustful of this country."

That's what I said and left the clock behind.

After the Rays leave, the guards realize that they have captured the Son of the Moon. And I vehemently regretted doing irrevocable things.

And, unfortunately, five guards lost their lives before Varma told them they were not guilty through their superiors.

It was after Luna found out about this fact that Varma found out.

Shortly before leaving, Anelma finds out the guard has lost his life, and he tells Luna as he is.

"The guards who worked disrespectfully on your son have lost their lives themselves. Could you calm your anger with this?"

Ray gets angry at Anelma's insensitivity, but Luna collapses from her knees.

"I didn't want that... I didn't want you to die..."

Cover your face with both hands and cry down.

Elise and Varma regretted it violently, but they begin to wonder if it would be more difficult to persuade the ghosts in this situation than that.

"Shouldn't we meet to leave until your son's heart is quiet?"

Ray vehemently regretted that his proposed stroll with patience turned out to be the worst.

(Couldn't you have managed a little more... I was too alarmed that the crisis of the godless (Vanitas) had left...)

Still, to Varma's suggestion, he shakes his head sideways.

"If you don't convince me with a lowni, I don't know what's going to happen. If the ghosts come to Luberna, there may be some trigger for the war to begin. It's bad for Luna, but we can't postpone it."

In the worst of circumstances, he set out for Rowni.
