Trinitas Mundus

Episode 16: Luna's Past

evening of April 22nd.

Arriving in Ars, the king's capital of the Kaum kingdom, Rays entered an inn called the Golden Floor (Anvil) Pavilion in the commercial district.

It's a tranquil atmosphere inn from what I've seen, but I've been in a rush of air since just after Luna entered.

I don't know what's going on. Ray leans his neck, but he follows the guided employee.

The employee walked past an area lined with a single room and headed further back. The Rays look at each other with a lot of glance.

The conditioning in the hallway also became obviously luxurious, and Ray realized they were being taken to a superior room.

(We talked about a good inn, but isn't it too good? I feel as upscale as the hotel I used to stay with Mr. Deodard in the city of Cloik......)

When he traveled with Ashley through the Kingdom of Lax, he was asked to escort Aurelia's millionaire, Loris Deoddard. I picked up Deoddard during that request, but I remembered the hotel in the city of Cloik, where he died.

"Isn't this out of place," he whispers to Ashley.

Ashley also said, "Sure. Not that I can't pay, but I don't suppose I need to stay in this many inns," he replied in a whisper.

Did you hear the master of the inn with whom the story was accompanied,

"This is something we do on our own, so we don't charge for the accommodation. Rest assured."

That's what they say with a smile, but Ray and Ashley had to be confused.

As Luna turns around walking the lead,

"I'll tell you what's going on when I get to my room. I think it's gonna be a bummer after this."

The Rays also had no choice but to convince her of her words and followed them in silence.

When we arrived in the room, it was a suite with an entrance.

"There are four bedrooms, but if they don't seem to be enough, use the next room as well. Now, when it's time to eat, we'll send in the clerk, so relax until then."

My husband said so and bowed his head heavily, leaving the room with the employee who carried his luggage.

When I walked into the living room, there was a couch there that could seat about ten people.

"I'll just tell you what's going on. Have a seat," said Luna, all seated on the couch.

"I don't know what to tell you from...... First, I'll tell you from my name. My name is Luna Lockhart......"

"He said it was Lockhart!" Ashley raised her voice unexpectedly. Stella and Ryan with her are also surprised, but Ray and Ione didn't know why they were surprised to hear the name.

Luna is smiling bitterly at the reaction.

"I want you to tell me what you mean," Ray said, and Ashley told Luna, "I broke my hip for the story. I'm sorry," he apologized, "but I'd better explain," and he started explaining to the Rays.

"The Lockhart family is a nobleman of the Caerm Empire. Surely it must have been the Viscount's house now."

When Ashley checks with Luna, she nods small.

"I wouldn't be more surprised if that were all, but Lockhart's name is known to the whole world under certain circumstances..."

"A thing?," Ashley nodded loudly as Ray tilted his neck.

"Oh, the Lockhart family has a deep relationship with the Blacksmith Guild, especially the Dwarves. That's because the Dwarves are making the most famous liquor they want."

Ray said, "Alcohol?" and raise his voice as if it were a mockery.

"Don't you remember passing through the city of Kilnarek on your way to Toa? That city is also the territory of the Lockhart family. More than that, don't you remember there was a sticker that said“ ZL "?"

"Uh-huh. With that said, I think Ash said he wanted a drink."

"That's right. Long-aged liquor The Zach Collection is called" ZL ”. And that's what the Dwarves are called to drink in tears..."

Ray was trying to remember the setting of the novel he was writing, listening to that explanation.

(Did the adventurer who helped Luna have that set up? I can't remember the details, but I don't remember setting that up...)

In the meantime, Ashley's story continues.

"... the Lockhart family is called" Friends of the Dwarves "..."

"Friends of Dwarves? You mean friends, right?

"That being said, it's a word that makes more sense than that. Every dwarf, when Lockhart finds himself in a predicament, throws everything, risking his life for rescue. It's a word that means so much."

"Risk your life... that's not a level of friends or anything. Like brother-in-law or something?

Ashley doesn't break her serious look and snorts loudly.

"Exactly. In fact, the Dwarves have helped them many times when the Lockhart family is in distress"

"Dwarves are helping?

"Oh, the stories of the Dwarves furious with the Bishops of the Light Divinity who tried to put on the Lockhart family are famous. As a result, there are no members of the Light Divine Church here in the Kaum Kingdom."

Plus Luna supplements.

"The Archbishop of Light Divinity, the leader of Luke's Holy Kingdom, is also taking his place. I've had other help from the Empire."

"Dwarves were such a politically involved species. I didn't think so at all when I looked at Mr. Bartel or Mr. Gustav."

Ray squeaks emotionally.

"No," Luna denied,

"Those people hate getting involved in politics. But only Lockhart."

After I say that, I gently bow my head toward Ashley.

"Thank you, Mr. Ashley. I'll explain from here."

Luna started talking again as Ashley nodded.

"I think we largely understand the relationship between the Lockhart family and the Dwarves. I'll tell you about me next. I think you all know that I am the only survivor of the village of Thysek, except Ione. And it was the second son of the Lockhart family who helped me..."

That's where the man appears on the back of her brain. Shake it off small and shake your head, and keep talking.

"... that person took care of me when I was lonely all my life at the Lockhart family mansion after he saved my life. At the time I was rescued, I didn't like everything and was stuck in my shell. Everyone in the Lockhart family treated me like a family and eventually made me a real family as an adoptive daughter at the suggestion of his wife..."

Luna continues the conversation with a distant eye that she misses.

"... As I said earlier, the Lockhart family is special to the Dwarf blacksmiths. And here in Ars, the Blacksmith Guild is also special. In other words, the Lockhart family, in good relationship with the Blacksmith Guild, is thought to be important to the Ars people as well. As a member of the Lockhart family before, I've been here in Ars, so I guess your husband here remembered me..."

Ray listens to the story but still didn't catch up on his understanding.

(Ash usually nods, but organizing the current story means he's special to the Dwarves because the Lockhart family makes delicious alcohol, and Luna has that name too... I don't know that alcohol gets along on the edge, but I don't think that's what I was dealing with earlier. Is it because I'm noble after all? Or I don't think so...)

When he tried to say the question, the innkeeper visited the room.

I went into the inn and it hasn't even been half an hour, but the guild sent an official.

"The Blacksmith Guild staff would like to say hello to Luna, may I?"

"I'm fine, gentlemen, may I use this place?"

Luna takes the confirmation to the Rays, but Ashley admitted on their behalf, "I don't mind".

An official came in immediately.

Luna is the face she sees and immediately says, "Long time no see, Mr. Jack" and bows her head.

The official is a bright-eyed man about thirty years old and his name is Jack Harper, and he bows his head deeply to Luna's greeting.

"We're out of time. You look fine and most importantly. I was worried when I heard you were in Periclitle."

The Blacksmith Guild contained no information that Luna was in Periclitle, but no information that she had been captured by the Demons. Because the information that there were adventurers caught by the Demons was not so widespread.

"Thank you. Should I go to General Headquarters now?

She knew more about the Blacksmith Guild's behavior and thought she would probably be called in.

Jack said to the words, "Yes. Of course, unless you're tired," he replies.

"I don't mind. I have a favor to ask of Mr. Ulrich."

After I said that,

"I'll be ready, so I'm going to be on my way in an hour or so, will you be all right"

Jack said, "Of course. I'll pick you up by then," he said, leaving.

Immediately after he exits, Ashley asks in a slightly faint voice.

"Does Ulrich mean Lord Ulrich Drexler, the blacksmith's guild's master craftsman?"

Even she, knowledgeable with the Dukes of the Kingdom of Lax, could not hide her surprise at what Luna had called in her first name, as well as being summoned by a blacksmith guild master with comparable powers to the King.

"Yeah, I'd like you all to come, if possible. Particularly Ray."

"What? Me? Why?"

Suddenly Ray is puzzled.

"I think I should have a look at your armor and your spear. If you find out about this armor and the spear, it could be a hint of what's going on in the jill-sole ahead. Because I've never seen armor and spears like that before."

Luna is an archer, but in the village of Rasmore she saw a lot of martial arts that could be described as works of art made by the Dwarf blacksmiths.

I used to rebel when I met Ray and I never saw him close, but he has shown me many times since I joined him in Sokius.

And I was realizing that it was different from current technology, such as the performance up to that insanity and the subtle differences from the Dwarves' magic formation.

"Then I thought I'd ask you to take care of Mr. Ashley and Mr. Stella's weapons, too. If you ask Mr. Ulrich, he should be able to introduce you to someone soon."

"No, it's not about asking the master craftsman. Bartel and masterpiece, but not the masterpiece of Ars"

"I think we can talk about that after we meet," Luna flushes gently, although Ashley's reaction is very straightforward.

"Then only Ray can change his armor. Because when I walk outside, I just need to keep my cape on so that it doesn't stand out. Mr. Ashley and Mr. Stella bring their swords..."

So you remembered something, "Ah!" Raise your voice.

"Stella's chain shirt belonged to Gaelnote, right?"

"Yes. That's what I'm asking my previous husband, Master Deoddard?

"It's a corner, so let Mr. Gaelnote take a look at it. I don't know if you have any care, but maybe you do."

Ashley can't block his open mouth saying, "Nor Lord Gaelnote..."

Speaking of Ulrich Drexler and Gaelnote Graver, he was famous as a famous contemporary worker and an admirer who thought everyone who made battle a business of their own.

Ryan hasn't opened his mouth a word since he heard about Luna. He was desperate that she was an adopted daughter of nobility and of a very different status from himself.

Furthermore, the famous Viscount Lockhart family of Wu, also famous in Periclitle, was under complete pressure.

(Luna Lockhart... I didn't know she was the adopted daughter of the Lockhart family with those heroes... the world I live in is different. Too different......)

Though Ione beside him like that doesn't know the unique noun, he is as proud as he is of himself that he is the son of the moon, and he laughs with Nico.

Luna never noticed how those two looked.

Luna approaches Ray and gives instructions in a whisper.

"Tell the Unos to rendezvous later. 'Cause I'm gonna get those guys' weapons made too."

Ray argues, "Isn't it yummy," but he couldn't say any more because he has an innkeeper or employee.

(It wouldn't taste good to have Luke's Beastman slave in the King's Capital of the Kingdom of Kaum who expelled Light Divinity. I guess Luna doesn't get it?

They nevertheless made preparations and, as planned, headed to the General Headquarters of the Blacksmith Guild.
