Lesson 28: Memories

April 30th.

The Rays stood in front of the South Gate of Ars.

Before them, Dwarves, who go up to hundreds, gather to drop them off, smiling and sparing their goodbyes. Ray and Ryan both drank too much at yesterday's farewell feast and still look blue, but still smile and wave.

Luna greets the Dwarves on their behalf.

"Thank you so much, everyone. We're leaving, but we'll definitely be back for a drink with you guys! Okay, I'm going!

"Don't be careful!," "Come home anytime!" and other voices wooden spirit in the square in front of the Great Gate.

The citizens and merchants of Ars wondered what was going on, but they thought the Dwarves would be the only ones so enthusiastic that they passed reluctantly so as not to disturb their breakup.

The Rays wave past the main gate.

He was reflecting on the days of fury he had spent in Ars.

(You haven't been here for ten days. I had a banquet every day, so I feel like I've been around for a really long time... and I feel so equipped. Ash said it too, but I knew there was just something called Dwarf City...)

And send your gaze to Luna, who manipulates the horse on the side.

(Luna seems a little lonely. Because it was like a real family...... I'd like to hear a little more about what happened since I came to this world if I could. Especially about someone named "Mr. Zach"...)

It's not like she didn't try to talk.

We often dealt with Dwarves while we were in Ars, and we couldn't get enough of our own time.

"Now you don't have to suffer from hangovers," Ryan tells Luna.

"Oh, I thought magic made it a lot easier? I've had my magic hanging too, so I barely had any alcohol left."

That's what Luna says and tilts her neck, but there's a fact she hasn't noticed.

She drinks as she enjoys talking to the Dwarves, but there was always a healer ione beside her, hanging the magic of detoxification even to the extent that she drank a little too much.

Ryan, on the other hand, was often caught by Dwarves away from Ione or Ray, and was often drunk when someone noticed. As a result, the effects of alcohol could not be completely eliminated and he continued to suffer from hangovers.

Ray looks at the two like that and leans over to Ashley's horse.

"It's been a long time since you had such a good time. Ever since I was at the headquarters of the Mercenary Corps of Marcut (Red Arms) in Fonce."

Ashley also smiles and nods at his words.

"It's been a battle streak since I left Fonce. I got a good bone break."

Stella joins the story there as well.

"Right. Fonce was my favorite city, too, but I think Ars is a good city, too. When it's all over, I'd like to come back slowly."

"Right. But I want to take it slow, but I don't think I can take it slow because it's a banquet every day."

That's what Ray says and laughs. Plus they were both caught, and the line was moving forward with the horse feeling soothing.

When the Rays left, the Royal Palace in Ars had received reports from officials about information gathered by Queen Katrina.

"... Lord Luna Lockhart had been abducted by a demon clan known as the Moon Demon clan just before the Periclitle offensive. This was confirmed by the master and general of the Arid Eagle's Nest pavilion, which is extremely credible information."

Katrina wrinkles between her brows there.

"So Mr. Luna may have been taken to eternal darkness (Kwaedam Tenebre) once. And the Rays crossed Aquila to get her back...... only one thing bothers me. Mr. Luna shouldn't be in the Toa. I wonder how he got back.

"I'm not sure about that. At least we confirm the fact that we were visiting the Blacksmith Guild and the Commercial Guild in Barbezy. I know it's natural to think we've joined in the barbecue, but we haven't even been able to see how we got into the barbecue."

If entering a large town, identification will be confirmed by an orb in lieu of ID at the gate. However, the confirmation does not keep a record, so it was not known at what point we had rendezvous.

"Really... we don't need to look into this any further. Also, let there be no talking about this other than those involved…"

The queen laid down a decree.

For a moment, the bureaucrat questioned, but it was common for the queen to do something abrupt, nor did she think deeply because there was always a reason.

After the bureaucrat leaves, the queen turns her thoughts around about Luna.

(My impression has changed a lot. I mean, I wasn't sure when I was with Mr. Zach, or something sweet. But I didn't feel that now. It's a good thing, but I'm curious why... now you should forget about it. Let's reconsider what we can do for the Lockhart family…)

She reconsidered the hand she had struck and came to the conclusion that there were no problems.

(Rooting to the Empire shouldn't be a problem. Mr. Ray said he didn't want to stand out, but that's impossible. There's no way that those prime ministers won't notice the presence of Mr. Luna... what those people have to do later...)

She wrote to a diplomat in Imperial Primes.

It says there to work with the Blacksmith Guild Empire Branch to protect Luna and the rest of them when they get into trouble with the Imperial Government, even using the name of the Kaum Kingdom.

(This will help a little. I'll tell Mr. Ulrich later, too. That way you can sell a little thanks to the Blacksmith Guild...)

Then, on the pretext that he had come up with a way to protect Luna, he went to Guild headquarters and applied to meet Ulrich Drexler, the chief craftsman.

So it was suggested that diplomats from the Plymouth branch and the Kingdom of Kaum would work together.

Ulrich also agreed to that and gave instructions to communicate it immediately.

The night you left Ars.

Ray calls to ask Luna about a person named Zach. We decided to talk about the Japanese reincarnator alone.

He opens his mouth with hesitation.

"I want you to tell me... you're talking about Mr. Zach being the same Japanese reincarnator as us. What kind of person are you?"

Luna gets a little top-down.

"It's fine as far as I can tell. I heard there were other people from Japan besides us."

She slowly raises her face there.

"It's not like I don't want to tell you. I was just a little worried about how to talk..."

She was reluctant to talk to a fellow student named Holy Grace about the person she fell in love with.

Still, I thought about what lay ahead and decided to tell you everything.

"The person who helped me, Mr. Zacharias Lockhart, was a Japanese engineer. Unlike us, adults, people of the same generation as my father and mother. Because I hear you were flown into this world when you were forty-five... in this world you should be five years older than us, almost twenty-four years old. But I was more grown up than that. When I was younger than us today, I was crossing with leaders from different countries. Yes, with the Chancellor of the Empire..."

"The Chancellor of the Empire......" Ray whines unexpectedly.

In his knowledge, the empire is the strongest country in the world, and its prime minister is a substantial ruler. I couldn't hide my surprise at the story of crossing with such a person.

(I don't care how much I want to live to be forty-five in Japan, I don't think it's something I can cross with the powerful...)

To his surprise Luna smiled small,

"You'll be surprised. I'm sure whoever hears it will be surprised."

"Right. I'm talking to the Duke of Lax and the Knights Commander too... but I think I could talk to Mr. Hamish because he got me in between. Maybe I couldn't have spoken properly on my own."

He had also heard in advance from Ashley about a person named Zacharias Lockhart.

"He's a famous adventurer in Periclitle. It's called The Darkness Swordsman, a genius who excels in both swordsmanship and magic.

"You mean a magical swordsman?

"That's right. But that's not all. I've been talking to Dwarves, but I've heard that there's no one in the world to line up with in liquor and gastronomy, and in magic studies, they're side-by-side with the best researchers in the world."

Ray shrugged "I wonder if there really is such a person" for the variety.

"You thought the same thing. He should have been my age, but when I heard him, I thought the world was huge..."

In addition to Ashley, I have asked Ryan and Stella, but they asked me the same story.

"I'll get back to it," he says, calling out to Ray, who thinks in.

"Mr. Zach was really someone who could do anything. The swordsmanship was over level fifty, and the magic was amazing. They also taught me the basics of how to look for signs and how to lose them. Most of all, I was a bad student."

I smile lonely when I say that.

"I'm not sure, but I think he's also an amazing politician. He's making me quit the Archbishop of Phototheism, and I think he was involved in the question of the successor to the Caerm Empire. There seems to be plenty more... but the most amazing thing is that you invented distilled liquor, Scotch. They also make wine from the Empire delicious and make new spirits…"

Her story goes on, but Ray was confused.

(Replacement of the Question of the Successor of the Caerm Empire with the Top of the Light Divinity... how can we talk about that... and how does that connect to the story of alcohol? I don't understand...)

Luna kept talking about him in confusion.

"He had a wife. That and the four of us."

"Four! I mean Harlem!" Ray raises his voice.

"I feel a little different about Harlem. There were rumors that I liked women, and there was a nickname for Prince Harlem (All Range Prince) in all directions, but the truth is, it was completely different."

"But you had four wives. What were those people like?

"Right. Strong people in a nutshell, I guess. Sometimes he was strong in battle, but he was just a strong core. And the beautiful, sweet people... adored me like a sister. But I..."

Mouthful there.

I wondered what happened to Ray, who has little experience in love, and said, "Is something wrong?" I heard. If you looked closely at her expression, you would know that she was distressed, and the more love experience she had, the more you would have found that bothered you.

"... I fell in love with that guy... but it didn't come true. So I left under him..."

Ray could only say, in an up-rubbed voice, "Oh, yeah..."

She realized he was having trouble caring and decided to come back to it.

"I'll get back to you. He's really someone who can do anything and has influence over politicians in all sorts of countries. Queen Katrina is one of them, but there are many of them in the Empire. The current prime minister too...... so we might be talking about that guy from now on. There will still be plenty of people trying to use that person..."

Then we talked about when we spent time in the village of Rasmore and in Periclitle.

Shortly after I was helped, when I was attacked by an army of undead, when I had fun after I found out I was a reincarnator......

Because of the worries in her expression, Ray was listening quietly, without pinching her mouth.

I'm done talking about Luna.

Neither opens his mouth for a minute or so and only the sound of the wind flowing is heard.

"You're an important person, for you"

Ray stood up without hearing her answer when he said so.

"Thanks. I know there's something you didn't want to tell me, but I'm glad you let me hear it."

"Yes."

"I'd like to see Mr. Zach, too. I'd like to talk to you about who you are."

"Right. You might feel comfortable. Because he said he was reading an online novel."

"It is. Maybe he was my reader."

"That would be interesting. Huhuhuhu."

That's what I said and we both laughed.

After returning to his room, Ray told Ashley and Stella what Luna had heard. I skip the part where she was in love, not everything, but the two of them understood that.

"Right. You had such a relationship with Sir Zacharias..."

Ashley is right, Stella was snorting in silence.

Stella felt close to Luna, who had the same feelings as herself.

(I know how it hurts. But I can't betray Master Ashley... Luna felt the same way, but you confessed honestly to your thoughts...)
