Trinitas Mundus

Episode 61: Information on the Holy Kingdom

On the afternoon of July 14th, the Rays arrived in the Imperial capital Plymouth.

As for Luke's intelligence unit, which is a concern in Imperial City, Ray strokes his chest, saying that although the Unos have looked around Imperial City, there is no such thing as a coding (tattoo) and it is likely that he has withdrawn.

Still, to prevent unnecessary trouble in the interrogation, the Unos were able to take off the collar of their slaves, knock through the gates of the Imperial capital and enter without anything.

Another concern, the movement of the Imperial Army, has left within yesterday and remains anxious about the situation in the streets ahead.

Arriving in Imperial Capital, they first headed to the Plymouth branch of the Blacksmith Guild. I have been offered a convenience on the outbound route, in order to gather information together.

Branch manager Gunter Fink and other Dwarf blacksmiths are welcome at the Plyms Branch.

"Well done, I'm back!" Gunter gently hugs Luna.

"Thank you. Thanks to all of you, I'm back safe," Luna says, bowing her head wide.

Afterwards, as usual, a welcoming banquet was to be held, but there is time because it is just past noon. We decided to use this time and go to convey our gratitude to those involved who were offered a convenience on the outbound route. Of course, there are plans to collect further information.

In order to do so efficiently, Ray told the Deoddard Chamber of Commerce that Luna would head to the Robbins Chamber of Commerce.

We head to the commercial district, but our destinations are almost identical and we take advantage of the Blacksmith Guild carriage.

"It's information-gathering, but what I particularly want you to confirm is what the Empire thinks. The Robbins Chamber of Commerce is connected to the Chancellor, so I want you to hear it from that line."

Luna nodded at Ray's words,

"Okay. It feels like you're looking into the inside of the Holy Kingdom. All you have to do is listen to the commercial guild move. Robbins, the Chamber of Commerce knows about Teito, but they don't have much information about Aurelia."

"Copy that. So we'll meet in front of the Robbins Chamber of Commerce at 5: 00 p.m."

To put it that way, Ray accompanied Ashley and Stella to the imperial branch of the Deodard Chamber of Commerce.

Having dropped them off, Luna takes Ryan and Ione and goes into the Robbins Chamber of Commerce. The Unos are divided into two groups and are secretly escorting them.

When Luna enters the store, the clerk who remembered her says, "Welcome, there you are," she bows her head aloud and gives instructions to the other clerks to go get the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce.

When he was guided to the reception room, Bart, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, rushed to his feet. On that face comes a relief look, he says, "You're safe and above all," and bows his head.

Behind him was Vitali White, head of the cocoa deal who accompanied him all the way to Cheslock. He is also smiling at Luna's safe appearance.

"Cheslock expelled Sea Serpent? That's the Lockhart lady."

Being told the story of Cesar Pent's exorcism, Luna smiled bitterly,

"That's pretty much what Ray did. Because I just helped a little. Thank you so much for your help than that. Thanks to you, I was able to do my errands safely at Zirsole."

That's what I say and I bow my head big. Burt and Vitali panic "face up" to the figure.

Then, after a little public talk, Luna cut to the point.

"We have to head to the central region after this. So it would be helpful if you could give us some information within the Empire"

"Central region?!?" Though surprised, he immediately squeezed his expression,

"It is not advisable to head to the Central Region in the present situation"

"Is it because there will be war?" Bart nodded loudly at Luna's question.

"Yes. I'm sure you know the Imperial Army is headed for Lark Hill. The information I've heard is that it will be the biggest battle in the last few decades. It goes far beyond the battle of Abadzac seven years ago, and it's borne out by rumors that Lark Hill is going to be a battlefield. I don't think it's going to be a battlefield just as far as the central region, but in case the central region becomes a battlefield, horseback riding peoples and humane horse (Centaur) tribes will intercept it. They're a belligerent tribe, so I don't know what happens if a young woman goes."

The Battle of Abadzac was fought seven years ago in May 319 between the Caerm Empire and the Holy King Luke. The imperial side marched with 35,000 troops led by the current Chancellor, Lord Ezzarington, while the Holy King's side was intercepted with 100,000 troops by Saint Gen. Montemenzi of the Holy Knights.

The battle ended in an overwhelming victory for the Empire, and it was also a battle that then caused Luke's politics to shake heavily.

Luna gently denied Bert's words.

"I am going to know about them because I have some ties to the Sorel tribe of the Humane Horse tribe. Sure, it's belligerent, but I don't think they attack people without darkness. So I think that's okay."

"You did. The Lockhart family was given horses by the Humans."

Seven years ago, in 319, the Sorrels, said to be the bravest of the Humans, ambushed in the streets and gave an arms test to the Lockhart family, who had left the great army of the undead. In doing so, with mutual achievements, the Sorels are giving the Lockhart family a famous horse known as the Frog Horse.

"Well, I'd like you to give me some information about Mr. Burt..."

Then check the information from Burt.

The Imperial Army enters Lark Hill in mid-August to put in place a system to intercept Luke's Holy King Army.

This formation of the Imperial Army will be the Third, Fourth and Seventh Regiments and the Lark Hill Regiment, with Prince Leopold of the Third Regiment becoming General.

So far, there are no plans to put horseback riding nations or humans on the battlefield.

This is the information Burt was grasping, and there was very little novelty.

"… it is the idea of a commercial guild that the Empire will definitely triumph. That you probably won't even struggle. There's just one piece of information I'm curious about."

"Is this information of interest?

"Yes. It means that the clergy of the Light God is breathing“ miracles happen ”. I know it's the usual jujutsu, but there are rumors of suspicious rituals happening in the Holy City of Paxlumen."

"Is it a ritual... don't you know what that is?

"I'm sorry. The only thing about Luke is information via commercial guild, and we don't have the details..."

"No, this information alone will sufficiently help. Anything else on the Imperial Army?

"Right...... the Third and Seventh Regiments left yesterday, but some of them are going to be on the boat from Ezarrington. That's why I heard you were staying for about two days. If you are headed to the Central Region, it may be difficult to follow the Central Street if you do not follow through at that time."

Luna relieves herself when she overtakes it easier than expected.

I tried to cut the story off because I got the information I needed and the time to meet with the Rays was nearer.

"Thank you for sharing so much. Then we will be free."

"Do you know anything about Sir Zacharias," Bart said as he tried to get up, saying so.

"Are you talking about Mr. Zach!" Luna was surprised and kept her hips down.

"Yes, Sir Zacharias rumors have been circulating lately. She was in the central region about two months ago. Then we headed to Fortis and wondered if he'd gone back to the village."

"Mr. Zach is in the central region......" he murmurs, but in his heart he remembered the words of the gods.

(You're making a path for me...)

Luna weeps when she's about to get zero.

"It was the information that came in after the last time I was here..." Bart said, realizing that I was extremely impressed and kept quiet.

"Oh, thank you. I'm glad you're okay."

That's what I said, I smiled, and I stood up.

Ray, on the other hand, went into the Plymouth branch of the major chamber of commerce in Aurelia, the Deoddard Chamber of Commerce.

Give him his name and apply to see Theodore Forrester, branch manager. Luckily Theodore was there, so he is immediately taken to the reception room.

"Thank you for your help with Luke's Beastman Slave Squad," he says, bowing his head alongside the Ashleys.

Two months ago, I got information that Luke's Beastman slave unit was infiltrating the Empire City. Ray asked the Deoddard Chamber of Commerce, which has a grudge against the Holy King of Lukes, to cooperate, considering the possibility that their actions would be restricted because they are taking the Unos.

Theodore was asked to do so and tipped off Luke's infiltration unit, which had been secretly obtained, and as a result, the infiltration unit is retreating, without any sabotage operations, etc.

"No, that's what I wanted to do, so don't worry about it"

Ray bowed his head again and got to the point.

"Could you give me some information about the war between Luke and the Empire?"

Theodore wondered what Ray was going to do, but didn't dare ask about it and started talking, "Let me tell you everything I know," he said.

"The priests of the Light Divinity are active in Luke's Holy Kingdom. They are spreading stories all over the country about" God descends ”and“ the miracle of God of Light (Lucidus) occurs ”. Nor is it some fanatical fundamentalist, dominated by denominational headquarters"

"Is it strange that the denominational headquarters should be the subject?

To that question Theodore apologized, "That was a bad way of putting it,"

"The Light God Church is rotten the more you go upstairs as you can see in the example of the Great Master. It means you're only interested in what's in your interest if you change the way you say it. In other words, this conversation about the manifestation of God is recognized as beneficial to the higher ecclesiastical levels."

Ray feels a good incomprehensible anger at the upper ecclesiastical level that is rotting out, but suppresses it.

"You don't normally think you can beat the Imperial Army when it comes to having the miracle of God, do you? No matter how insane the Light God executives are."

"You're right. I also wondered, and I looked into it, and apparently it was the archbishop, or head of the church, who said," God's miracle. "

"The Archbishop himself?

"Yes. We are hustled to say that a temple has descended on the Archbishop General and several Cardinals. We think it's frigid, but the clergy of the Church seem to mean it"

The information so far coincides with that communicated by the gods at the Temple of Creatore in Gilsall.

(He said he was trying to use me for what the gods told him, but I wonder what's going on around there)

Telling the question, Theodore nodded loudly.

"Master Arklight's name is already widespread. A charitable man who leads the Holy Knight to defeat the Great Ghost (Auga), but tears at the death of the peasant militia." The manifestation of the God of Light (Lucidus). "

"It's embarrassing to be told to face it," he grins bitterly, but Ashley says, "I'm not mistaken," Stella nods loudly, too.

"The person spreading the story is Bishop Gastaldi, no, the executive bishop. He told many believers in the Cathedral of the Holy City of Paxlumen that he had taken part in the Periclitle offensive and had indeed seen it with his own eyes. There was a militia from the war-torn village of Fiscal on the spot, and we heard they were making us testify."

Maggioni Gastaldi was promoted from bishop of the Fourth Staircase to executive bishop of the Fifth Staircase by virtue of the merit of finding the manifestation of Lucidus. He has become a sidekick to the archbishop Bernardino Rolfo, inciting a war against the Empire.

"Do you use the people of the village of Fiscal......" gives a dark look.

"It's not a bad thing for the peasant militia in Fiscal Village"

"What do you mean?

"If it weren't for this story, you would have been thrown out, with no compensation whatsoever for losing your hands and feet. In fact, because until now the peasant militias have been rendered disposable. It may not be true for you, but they were treated as heroes because they fought with you, and they were guaranteed a life."

Although Ray was hard to convince, he didn't say anything more.

Theodore finds Ray angry on this topic and changes the subject.

"That's a little off the record. Let me tell you a little more about Luke. The force mobilized by the Holy King is likely to be 200,000 men, as rumoured from before. There are already calls for mobilisation in many villages, gathered in the Sacred Capital. That doesn't mean the Holy King has a rock."

"Really?

"Yes. The Holy King's Palace, the administrative province of the Holy King, seems to be opposed to this troop outpost. In fact, when it comes to the barracks, it is impossible to operate as many as 200,000 troops into today's Holy King Luke's kingdom. However, since the Archbishop cannot speak out against the fact that he was commissioned, it seems that he should not be postponed until he is ready."

"Does the Holy King's Palace agree with you?

"Unfortunately, the information we got the other day indicated that a declaration of a total mobilisation system had been made at the beginning of June. The current Holy King Augustino is the margin of Archbishop Lorfo, and since the officials of the anti-archbishop were solemnized in the coup d 'état seven years ago, they must not have been able to contain it in the present officials"

After that, I will ask for more information.

"What do commercial guilds think? I'd like to avoid Luke going to a reckless war."

"It seemed desperate because if we were to become anarchic with any more defeats as guilds, we would not be able to recover the funds we invested, but this time it would seem difficult to avoid war no matter how much money we scattered"

Ray feels darkened by the words.

When I finished hearing the information and tried to exit, Theodore called to see if he remembered anything.

"Master Ashley was the son of Lord Hamish Markat of the Mercenary Corps of Markat."

"Exactly, but what it is," Ashley replied,

"I heard rumors that the Mercenaries were headed south. We also heard about a meeting at Ars with the Blacksmith Guild Chief Drexler, so you might be able to get that information at the Blacksmith Guild."

"My father?," said Ashley, surprised, looking at Ray's face.

Ray said, "What does that mean?" I could only answer that.
