Trinitas Mundus

Episode 96: Arrival in Zalesche

November 24th.

The Rays entered Leriche, the westernmost end of Sochius, the land of demons.

Yesterday was the return of Luna, the "son of the moon", and a grand feast was held. Not only the ghosts and demons stationed there, but also the villagers, the people and beasts, were pleased that God's charity had returned.

And yesterday I got ready to head to Zalesche.

Preparing for the trip itself was easy, but I could rub it a lot with a candidate who would accompany Zalesche.

Talvo Kronvar of the Great Ghost Nation and Varma Niska of the Moon Demon Nation were decided early on by the fact that they were representatives of each of the Ghost and Demon Nation, but given the importance of the village of Leriche hitting the border with the West, it was necessary for the Chieftain class to remain in charge, and there was a tongue battle over whether Pekka Ventura of the Middle Ghost Nation or Isto Slang of the Little Ghost Nation would remain.

Pekka insisted that Luna, son of the moon, had been his escort since the beginning of his entry into Sochius, and Isto complained that Leriche, an important stronghold, needed a leader of the Middle-Ghost tribe, the main force of the Ghost tribe. The men of each tribe also assert that they should accompany each other orally.

Ultimately, it was decided by Luna that Ist would remain in charge because the cavalry would be more responsible for the Rays of the subject than for the slowing down of movement in the inferior physique little ghost tribe, and even more so for Ist, who is the chief than Pekka, acting chief.

At the moment of the decision, Ist repents with tears of repentance.

Still, Luna took my hand and said, "I'll ask for a reliche," and I managed to clean it up.

He then received a report from Talvo on the treatment of the summons of the family members of the ghost tribe, which was a concern.

The method of summoning the family of a ghost tribe is inhumane of implanting demonic crystal stones in a woman's body and forcing her to produce demons by supplying her with magic.

Many women were caught from the West, but that was not enough, and there were instances of abduction of women of people who were nationals of Sochius, their compatriots.

Luna asked about the method and ordered an immediate ban, but the report was made because she went to Gilsor Island without knowing the consequences.

"It was strictly forbidden to use the human body, regardless of race, for summonses such as orgasms and orcs. The subpoena, which was near this village, has also been completely closed, and the women used for the subpoena have been treated with care…"

Many of the women used in the summons had come abnormal to the spirit and could not be completely cured with Varma, the user of dark attribute magic.

For this reason, I follow their wishes and euthanize them.

"As I've told you before, I must say this method of summoning was most likely brought about by Vanitas, the enemy..."

Luna learned how to summon before discussing it with Ray many times, and from the legacy that it was brought about by the revelation of the Dark God (Noctis), she came to the conclusion that Vanitas might have made it.

"... even if it had nothing to do with Vanitas, you ghosts are excellent warriors and think that power alone is enough for me. Whatever the circumstances may be in the future, this method of summoning is contraindicated and will be completely sealed. This is an order as the Son of the Moon. Whoever breaks it will severely cut it, no matter how much position it takes."

I ran out of words in an incredibly strong tone from my regular Luna.

Due to the power of its strongly willed dark spirits, Talvo and others could only answer "Your Will" with their foreheads on the floor.

From Leriche to Zaleshe will be dominated by the Kronvar family of the Great Haunted and the Ventura family of the Middle Haunted, but the number became a minority elite with fifty each.

This is already an elite array of markat mercenary regiments (Red Arms), man-made horses (Centaurs) and other meadow people, and even the Uno Beast Troops, because escorts are unnecessary, and because only those who can follow the speed of movement of frog horses were selected for rapid movement.

In addition, the Moon Demons and Winged Demons, led by Varma, will be accompanied by everything but a decree to be left with Leriche. Those who were originally sent to Leriche have been selected as Luna's escort as much as possible, because many of them have extensive combat experience.

Among them was the figure of Asla Volti, who fought Ray near Fort Chulock, the eastern border of the Kingdom of Lax.

"Then I'm leaving! The destination is Zalesche! Please follow the orders of each captain and march in a disciplined manner!

"" Ooh!

The demons respond to Luna's voice.

Ray is originally the commander, but as he is still called the White Mage, he is alerted by the people of Sochius. He also decided in consultation with Ray and Luna that the ghost tribe worshipping the Son of the Moon should be under Luna's command.

It is already the early winter season rather than late autumn, but the journey from Leriche was smooth.

Worried about the speed of movement of the ghost tribe, but no one was delayed against the cavalry riding the famous horse. Sometimes he was physically superior, but he didn't allow the moon's guard to be delayed.

In December it began to snow in Sochius, but on December 8th, without missing anyone, we arrived safely in Zalesche.

In Zaleshe, the ghosts greeted the Son of the Moon with a total outing. The Red Arms mercenaries cannot hide their surprises in that number.

"I didn't know there were so many ghosts... if they really attacked me, PericLittle would have sucked..."

Hamish Markat of War is speaking to his deputy, Alberic Auger.

"Right. Looks like there are quite a few Big Ghosts, and the Medium Ghosts seem to be stronger than the Orcs..."

Always cheerful Alberic, but with a smile on his face in front of the Ghost Warriors whose looks are terribly similar to those of an orga, an oak, or a goblin.

The ghost tribes on the other hand were also sending a subtle gaze at the human-man tribe of different appearances and the uno and other beastly troops, Hamish and others with heroic styles, although not even on alert.

"Are those the warriors led by white magicians? Sure looks strong, but we're good enough."

The male of the Middle-Ghost tribe, Erno, the head of the Bindler family, is surprised to see, speaking to Yonni, who became the head of the Budosco family.

"You're right," he replies with a smile, praising Luna in a tone that immediately impressed him.

"But that's your child. I didn't know you could bring that much fighting power from the west. As long as the White Mage is reliable as an ally. All this is the gift of your son's morality. Don't you think that's great?"

Yonni thought that the main force in this Evil God crusade was them, and that it was important that pride not clash with high ghost tribes. For this reason, Luna used the expression "brilliant".

"You're absolutely right. Your son said the White Mage was his ally. So you're an ally to us."

The simple erno was put on Yonni's word, and he neatly forgot the mistrust he initially had.

Luna kept waving from the horseback with the welcome of the haunted folk.

Her equipment was not a furry coat and dress as before, but a martial bone leather armor and a pitch-black cloak made of black dragon leather, but the folks are cheering more enthusiastically than before for its pristine appearance.

"What a prick you are. With that one, you don't have to be afraid of evil gods or anything!

"I'm going to volunteer for the Expeditionary Force to protect your son too!

Luna also hears that voice and is overzealous.

(Thankfully, if it gets too hot, I'd be worried about Vanitas sticking it in. Theo I heard from you that Vanitas masterfully manipulates people's minds...)

Still without ever stopping smiling, he proceeded inside the city of Zalesche and arrived at the building known as the "Grand Government", the political centre of the Ghost Nation.

The Great Administration is a huge four-story wooden building.

Before that, the chiefs of each tribe line up and poke one knee to welcome Luna.

"Congratulations on your return. We, the Ghosts, are eager to welcome you."

Sorum Sommelyoki of the Little Ghost Nation, head of the Council of Chiefs, speaks out on behalf of him.

"I'm sorry for your concern. I know you've already heard, but the fight is not over yet. I need your help."

Solm responded to Luna's words "as he willed," and the other chiefs bowed their heads wide to put their foreheads on the ground.

Luna told Solm before entering the Grand Political Administration that

"Please show the guests to their quarters. We hope that the chiefs will gather in the Great Hall later."

The Great Hall is on the top floor, where the Council of Chiefs takes place.

"Accepted. Your son will be tired, so why don't we meet in the Great Hall in two hours"

"Consider, it hurts," Luna said, bowing her head to Solm, taking Ione with her to the room previously given to her.

The three Rays, Ashley and Stella are guided to Varma and head to their rooms in the Grand Government.

Luna and Ray each have an escort for the Beast Troops, but they are disappearing. This was because Uno instructed him to treat Vanitas in the same way as the enemy land until he could make sure he wasn't reaching out.

Hamish and the Red Arms and Theophilus are guided to their quarters near the Great Government. It was an establishment for the guards from afar to stay, vacated for them in advance.

The most troubling thing about Solm was the treatment of the Humans.

Big ghosts are bigger if you just call them giants, but because they didn't have the right quarters for them in the horse's body.

Sorel warrior chief Gius Salinas called it "carefree" to confused little ghost warriors,

"If there's a flat ground somewhere, that's fine. Because a tent would suffice."

The Little Ghost Warrior is puzzled by the word, but was eventually led to the exercise area.

An hour later, Ray was visiting Luna's room. Ashley and Stella, Theo and Hamish in addition to him.

"After this, I'm going to talk to the Chiefs, and I need to check on the chain of command."

When Ray cut it out that way, Luna said, "You must be the commander, right?" and lean his neck.

"I was going to, but I thought I should look at the Zalesche people and change them a little bit"

"How do we change it?

"Ghosts and demons can't move without you. That's why I'm asking you to do the nominal commander. I'll be in command when I get there."

"Nominal commander...... that means I will give you orders until you enter the wilderness of despair (Desperationis)?

"You will. Well, as always, we're gonna discuss it and make up our minds."

That's where Theo joins the story.

"I disagree, don't I? It's confusing when Ray says he's in command when he comes in."

"I agree with Theo, too," Hamish concurs.

Theo further complains about the importance of the chain of command.

"Even“ Desperate Wilderness ”is a dangerous land. If we were to send a mixed unit there, it wouldn't be weird what happened."

"But..." Ray tries to say, but Theo continues the conversation by controlling it with his eyes.

"More dangerous than that is Vanitas. Don't you know that if the chain of command is not firm, they could be pinned on the enemy? Luna should talk about this properly and convince the people of Sochius."

"I know what Theo's trying to say..."

"I agree with you, Theo. Lord Tarvo and Varma have already treated you with respect. If those two are going to be a substantial head of Sochius' contingent, I don't think there's a problem. It's just that convincing the Middle-Ghost is gonna break my bones a little bit."

Luna laughs bitterly when she says that.

"We should explain Mr. Ray properly in the context of the Council of Chiefs. In the worst case scenario, I think if Mr. Hamish fought the Ghosts and made them recognize his power, at least the Ghosts would recognize Mr. Ray's command."

"That's true," Luna nodded in Theo's words as well.

The idea that power is justice is pervasive among ghosts. Ray has also won by fighting Tarvo, but it was hard to say it was an overwhelming victory. For that reason, Hamish, known as the most powerful mercenary, showed his strength and thought that the ghost tribe could be persuaded if he said he would support Ray's command.

"Varma will convince me. But the problem is with the Winged Demons. So does Keira, but the resentment of her fellow murderers for decades of misery won't go away easily."

Keira Lyvio is a Winged Demon Spellman and Commander of the Field Forces. He has lost many of his men by Ray's magic and Ealis being taken over by Vanitas when rescuing Luna. For this reason, he was still after Luna recovered, aiming for Ray's life and being discreetly disposed of.

Though she herself has been removed from this expedition, some of the Winged Demons still remain obsessed with the "White Mage”.

"By the way, I wonder if Lord Ellis is already here," Ray confirms.

"From what I just heard, they're in the Dark Temple of Zaleshe with the Moon Demon priests. I didn't show up when I picked him up because it's dangerous when ghosts overreact."

The decree that issued the village of Leriche was a wing demon tribe and had also arrived early in Luberna, the capital of Sochius. For this reason, "Witch of the Moon” Elise Nortia has also arrived here in Zaleshe a few days ago.

Many of the ghosts remember that Elise abducted Luna, and some have publicly declared that they do not trust the Moon Demons.

As a result, Elise didn't show up in public as much as she could and waited quietly for Luna.

"I'm calling it in the big hall, so we'll meet up later, what's that?

Ray nodded small to Luna's question,

"Lord Ellis needs you to do something."

"What do you want me to do?

"If we go to the wilderness of despair, I want you to pray in the temple of darkness."

"I think I'll offer my prayers because I'm the sacrificial chief..." Luna tilts her neck.

"I also want ghosts, people, and beasts in that prayer to do a lot. When it comes to the gods, God's power is increased or decreased by people's prayers. If many of us pray sincerely, it will help us. More than that, I think it would be a good opportunity to bring together a country called Sochius."

The word convinces Luna, "Okay."

"If I ask the people of Sochius about it, and Lord Elise, the chief of the sacrifice, prays with all the people, that obsession may be solved."

"I don't know if it's going to work that well, but at least I think I'm going in the right direction if I can share my desire to protect you. I want to ask you to do that."

"Sure, if you suggest it, the Winged Demon Spellmen might open their minds a little too. If you still can't, we'll have to take only those whom Varma can trust"

Luna said that out of show of strong will.
