152 Stories Lucy Rescue Operations and Alemanian

One day in the summer.

I was in Professor Lucy's lab.

When I became a fourth grader in magic school, it had been two years since I became Lucy's apprentice.

I've been in Lucy's lab lately.

There was a reason for that.

Because it's hard to get a middle-aged magician exam in the fall of fourth grade.

This is a test being conducted by the Imperial Government to certify the strength of magicians, and students of Imperial School of Magic are asked to pass without exception.

If you fall, you can't progress, and if you do good grades on the contrary, you are given privileges such as being able to select more advanced classes.

So, Lucy was teaching me to study hard.

"Okay, Solon? If I fall, I won't forgive you."

Lucy slaps her desk with her finger and says.

We were facing each other at the desk.

"It's okay. So far, the exam itself is expected to pass sparingly."

"Yeah."

"Thanks to Dr. Lucy."

When I smiled and said, Lucy turned red and turned away.

Is it lit?

"And anyway, because you shouldn't be distracted! And I have to pass with good grades. Aim best!

"Ha, that's just not possible. Because it will be Sophia who passes first place."

Sophia shows an overwhelming talent in magical practice.

Even Creon is rapidly boosting his magical prowess, and some of them are named Serene, an honorary student for grades.

Magic school students are not the only ones taking further exams.

It's unrealistic that I'm first.

"I passed first, so you, the disciple, have to take first place."

"Don't be impotent. I'm not a genius like Dr. Lucy."

"Oh well. In magic practice, Solon is worse than I was. But some subjects are really good at discipline exams."

"It's just a low-grade elective, though."

Medium magician exams also include subjects not directly related to pharmacology, imperial history, or magic.

Apparently, that's why I need to know something other than magic in order to act as a single magician.

And speaking only of those subjects, I did indeed do far better than the other students.

An area where a wide variety of detailed knowledge is asked is my specialty.

"You're really clever, aren't you? Why are you so familiar with so many things?

"I was originally going to be a noble butler. It was more important to acquire the knowledge and skills to support my husband than to use magic."

"Yeah. That kind of thing?

"Using magic is the role of a nobleman, my husband. They have a noble duty to magically protect people. And because deacons are required to support them in all respects like that"

"I was born a nobleman, but I don't know much about that because Dr. Lil 'La picked me up in a small place"

Lucy is also born of a prestigious aristocrat with a finger fold in the empire, but in a good way has no aristocratic atmosphere.

I guess that's because I became a magician's apprentice from the civilian population at an early age.

"Solon is good at Alemanian because he was trying to be a butler?

"Is that it? Who told you I speak Alemanian?

"I heard Sophia talking to the other students' kids. He was happy to say," Solon can do anything, and even foreign words are perky. "

"Oh, I see"

"It's somewhat uninteresting that Sophia knew, but there was something I didn't know about my master"

Lucy swells her cheeks and stares at me.

I had trouble replying.

I didn't mean to keep a secret from Lucy.

So teach me Alemanian.

I almost dropped a surprising feather pen from my hand.

Lucy spoke because it was definitely Alemanian.

"Surprised? I studied a little bit."

"Why did you study Alemanian again?

"I heard Solon could talk, 'cause I got interested. But self-study seems to have its limits."

"Well, there aren't that many learning books, and it's troublesome to pronounce them."

"So I decided to ask Solon to tell me. Is that okay?

"Do you want me to teach Dr. Lucy?

"Yes. Sometimes I think it's funny even if that happens. Right?"

Lucy stared at me with crimson eyes.

Lucy always helps me, and if you can repay me, even if it's trivial, it's cheap.

Besides, it could be a little interesting for me to teach my genius master, Lucy, a mediocre apprentice.

I'm sure it's about Lucy, so I also feel like I'm going to learn it soon.

I smiled.

"Right. I can help you if you want. But I don't think learning Alemanian is going to help that much..."

"You don't have to be helpful. You know?"

Lucy laughed softly.

And I showed it by tapping a reference to the magic theory on my desk with Pompom.

"And for that... I need to pass the secondary magician exam properly. Why don't we take a trip to Aremania after the exam?"

Lucy, you laughed so hard, you put freshly brewed tea in front of me.

Lucy's in a kind of a good mood today, and I dropped my eyes on the exam reference again.

"Hey, Solon..."

Call my name so Lucy can be sweet.

I put my face up to Lucy's words... but I should have.

It was Filia who was smiling in front of me.

"Hey, Solon, wake up"

As I tried to jump out of surprise, I got my finger on my forehead.

I was asleep on the bed, and Philia was on top of me.

Phyllia looks like a thin negligee, and I'm thrilled.

If I get snuggled up like that, I'll be in trouble.

Philia smiled softly and gently brought her lips closer to my ear.

"I'm sorry I woke you up at this hour, huh?

It was still early morning when I looked at the clock.

Sophia and the others in the same room are sleeping well. Clarice hit her back and forth with a happy sleeping face, and Sophia was smashing her sleeping remarks, "I can't eat anymore..."

I'm sure we're both dreaming peacefully.

I was dreaming, too, apparently.

That's a long time ago, too.

It's been six years since I was in the fourth grade of magic school.

I'm seventeen, and Lucy's twenty.

A lot has changed in those days and now.

Do you want to go help Lucy based on the information we got from Cleon and Arte?

It was yesterday that forced me to make the decision, and as soon as possible today, I have to start taking concrete action.

I asked Phyllia while I fell into bed.

"Maybe you two need to talk alone?

"Is that it? How did you know?

"Otherwise, Master Philia won't wake me up at this hour."

Me, Phylia, Sophia and Clarice are always in the room with the three of us, so it doesn't really mean we're alone.

Phyllia looked up to me.

"Why don't you just take a little walk in the garden?

"Do you stay in your sleeping clothes?

"Nobody's watching you?

"Well, that's true... but you'll catch a cold"

"Really? Ah..."

I gently put a cardigan on Filia and slapped her on the shoulder.

Phyllia twirls herself like a tickle, and smiles happily.

I also weaved my jacket and took Philia out to the garden with me.

The early morning air was clear and pleasant.

The garden of this mansion was only originally owned by the nobility and is quite large.

However, since the purchase, the garden has remained untouched and everything else with minimal roads was rough all around.

I also feel like I know there was a rumor going on about a haunted mansion.

"You've never walked in the garden like this, have you?

"Well, you haven't been able to walk and have fun. I want to take good care of the grass and flowers, and then grow the herbs and make them a suitable garden for Her Royal Highness's mansion."

"Looking forward to it. I'll help you too."

"It helps. Good luck to Philia."

"Yeah, but I just enjoy being able to walk with Solon."

Philia suddenly stopped and looked back at me.

Negrije's hem flutters and shakes.

And Philia stared straight at me.

"Hey, is Solon going to help Lucy? Alone in the basement of the Department of the Army and Navy?

I blinked my eyes.

I'm sure Philia hasn't been informed about Lucy's whereabouts yesterday.

Clarice told me.

"Oh, you did"

"Don't blame Clarice. Because that's what I asked for."

I'm seeing Cleon, and I went to Arte's room.

Then I suppose I'd be wondering what you were really talking about.

"Hey, Solon. Can't I come with you to help Lucy?

I shook my head to the side.

"We cannot bring Master Filia"

"Because I... am useless?

I looked at Philia in surprise.

Philia has a rare, anxious look.

"Why do you say that?

"Because... if it were true, I would have remembered the magic of Lucy's Book of Magic, helped Solon, and fought with him, wouldn't I? But I can't even use intermediate magic properly, so I can't help Solon..."

I hear Philia is dragging on yesterday's fortified magic failure.

I stood back and gazed at Philia.

"Anyone has something that doesn't work. If you keep worrying about it, it won't work for you."

"But..."

"And if you master Dr. Lucy's amazing magic so soon, you'll be in trouble"

"Why?"

"You'll lose your position as a mediocre magician like me. Besides, if Philia learns magic without any stumbling blocks, I will no longer be able to teach her."

"I don't think so."

"No. The master is for when his disciples stumble. So Master Philia doesn't have to be depressed or lose confidence. Master Phyllia is not useless, he's a wonderfully talented mage's egg."

Philia was blushing a little and listening to me.

And in front of my chest, I put my little hands together to pray.

"Then I want to go help Lucy, too. I want to help Solon."

"Thank you. I'm sure one day Master Philia will be a sorcerer beyond me. Please help me helpless then. But not yet."

That's right.

Even though I knew it was a trap, I would still go help Lucy.

Even though Lucy is in danger, we can't abandon her.

And I'm the only one infiltrating the Department of the Army and Navy.

Philia, of course, and I'm not taking Sophia.

That's also because I don't want to put everyone in danger's eye, but there was another reason.

Because I'm the only one who speaks Alemanian.

It is essential that you speak Alemanian during this operation to rescue Lucy.
