Lesson 12: The Fugitive

"What do you mean Zasha got caught!?

When Holger yelled in a voice that rang all the way outside the building, the merchant who brought the news strapped his neck as if frightened.

"I don't know why either. However, Count Sola, who came with Prince Wang, said there was a fake mix of silver."

"You set something up, that kid!

Holger left it to his anger to slap his fist against the wall.

I stare at the merchant with a fixed eye, but now it's a waste of time to splurge.

"shouldn't we run away early?

"I know what you're talking about."

Holger silenced the merchant and thought of the geography of Count Sola's territory.

To the south, a large ship of Sola shines eyes on the surveillance, and to the east, the army of Count Trinen refrains. In the north, the Marquis of Beltze, who has good relations with Sola, sets up the territory.

It would be a route from the west sea to the west of the kingdom with relatively loose surveillance eyes to escape.

But we need a ship to get to the sea.

Large ships are paying north for exports of silver lumps, and medium-sized ships will have fewer escorts they can take with them.

The success rate of the escape will be extremely reduced if we do not leave as soon as possible with a selection of those who stand up in arms from the mercenaries.

But we don't even know if the mercenaries will obey honestly.

Holger is now a fugitive.

We don't want continued employment, and we don't give mercenaries a reason to help until they've been convicted of fugitive aid.

Either way, I can't help thinking about it, Holger put together all the assets he could have and left the room.

"... what? It's noisy outside."

Frowning at the yelling and the noise of people running around, Holger glances out the window.

I saw the mercenaries running outside Zira with their weapons in one hand.

There was widespread information that Zasha had been arrested, and I wondered if the mercenary with the cut off had escaped, but things were not right.

Holger, restless by the inexplicability, called out a pleasant voice from the end of the hallway.

"Some chambers of commerce are breathing when they catch you with individually hired mercenaries."

"... Two-headed doll"

Holger looked at the Lord of his voice and struck him in the tongue.

The silver-haired daughters don't even break their grin at Holger's attitude and move their gaze out the window.

"All the mercenaries whose names are sold, on the other side, the mercenaries who remain here cannot even read the situation."

"Sounds like Zira's official grandfather planned it. Excellent, interesting."

"You must have returned home, you guys"

Holger points out as he remains in the words of a double-headed doll praising his enemies.

The double-headed doll looked at each other and tilted his little neck.

"I want to sneak home, but I'm being watched everywhere with silver export regulations."

"That's why I've been waiting. Whether your plan succeeds or fails, there will be gaps."

The double-headed doll chuckles.

Holger thought only for a moment, but both looked at the unpleasance when he could guess.

"Are you going to make me look like a fool?"

The double-headed dolls nodded in alignment.

"I guess you were counting on mercenaries..."

The double-headed doll deliberately looks out of town.

He guided Holger's thoughts to recall the mercenaries he called the U.N. crowd.

Knowing that, Holger thought about the mercenaries.

"The Utah people might turn back."

Holger thought about it.

It's weirder not to betray an attractive employer than to choose to flee together now that we're close.

Holger gives a bittersweet look.

The double-headed doll opened his mouth just saying he was waiting.

"Shall I lend you a soldier who won't betray you?

"What's so convenient about that?"

To a suspiciously gazed holger, the double-headed doll puts her hand on her mouth and makes a small laugh.

It was silly, and my cropped lips moved slightly.

"A former thief would be able to be a community of destiny with you, wouldn't he?

As suggested by the double-headed doll, if he's a former thief who was heavily incorporated into the Fireplace Bandits, he's the same fugitive as Holger.

Holger stares at the double-headed doll with an abomination.

"Are you the elite troops of my country and the cloud cover-ups who pushed the ex-combatants against me and made them lighter?"

"Do you have a choice?

Told back by the double-headed doll, Holger skewed his face into remorse.

"We're gathering behind this building."

"You must run away desperately."

The double-headed doll turned her back, wrapped around even signs that she seemed to be having fun, without feeling guilty about holding Holger against her.

Holger shrugs as he drops off his shining silver hair.

"Shall I give you a ride? I'll drop myself on thieves and get you into your country."

"Oh, that sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to it."

Waving without looking back, the double-headed doll left.

Holger leaves his tongue slapped and leaves the spot behind with a quick leg.

Considering the escape route, Holger decides to head west.

We should avoid infiltrating the Marquis Belze territory, which has the power of a giant army, more than leading an ex-combatant to become a fugitive.

Behind the building awaited poorly resembled men who seemed more useful than the UAE crowd.

"... That's a lot"

It is also impossible for Holger to whine unexpectedly.

The sight of a total of fifty or so men hissing was not very pleasant.

If the number is high, even if it is unwanted, it will play a role as a human being.

"You double-headed puppet, with all the trouble, you pushed him off one end."

The consciousness being danced like a good one brought his head, and Holger kicked the ground with his fingertips.

The former thieves looked at Holger and seemed to be waiting for instructions.

If I hadn't made a move with some control, I wouldn't be perceived as a threat by Sola and would be less effective as a

I could see the idea of a double-headed doll in my hand, and Holger pioneered it.

"Horses don't..."

We can't possibly have as many as fifty horses.

Holger sees the men flush and chooses four who are likely to stand up in arms.

The four chosen were divided into ten units each as troop leaders, and the remaining six were assigned to platoons with Holger himself as captain.

"Each troop leader conveys my instructions to the troops and leads them."

Taking care of the vertical organization with itself at the top, Holger set out west on Zira.
