Episode XIII: Orsk Islands Development Plan

- You want a wave piercer. A double-torso ship or something, it's cool.

Thora thinks as she is trained in her ankles by a hull that leans up every time she rides a wave.

The Solas, who left from Crossport for the Orsk Islands waiting for the rain to stop and the waves to settle, were aboard an old seaship given to them by the Marquis of Beltze.

Although there is no obstacle to operation, it is bad to hear that only old ships are on hand as one of the territories facing the sea.

The outer ship is vulnerable to waves, so the development of another propulsion form of ship is rushed, but there were few minutes left untouched.

- Suppose you think when this problem is cleared up?

Sola switched her head because she could see the island of interest.

Sania and Rhulu, take the flamethrowers from the escort and land on the island.

It was the people of the island who welcomed them.

An elderly old man enters from among the islanders who mouth words of welcome, buying guidance and leaving.

As we moved along the island's coastline, we saw a group of tents.

"Why the tent?

Sania and Rhulu stare at the tent wonderfully.

"I usually live in a restaurant in town, and I guess we all got together for today"

When Sola told her predictions, a young man appeared out of the tent.

When the young man looks at Sola and the others and turns his eyes round, he calls out in the tent.

"Sania and Lulu are here!

Did you hear the call of the youth, seven men and women appeared as they rolled out of tents everywhere.

I was surprised by Sania and Llu, who finally narrowed their eyes, but noticed one daughter emerged from the deepest tent and calls her name.

"-Sharina!?

Her daughter, Sharina, who came out of the tent, bowed her head toward Sola after grinning in surprise at Sania and Lulu.

Seven men and women bow their heads one after another following Sharina.

It wasn't a greeting, it was a way to bow your head as an apology.

"Back then..."

"I don't need an apology"

On behalf of her, she blocked the apology Sharina had spoken to, and Sora continues.

"If only I could pay for the village. I'll get word of apology from Geist."

Looking around the face of the once Ogarite production village where he gazed confused, Sola pushed Sania and Rhulu's back.

"It's your problem. Forgive me now, forgive me when the village is complete, or not for the rest of my life, and I will say nothing."

Leaving that behind, Sola turned her back on the tent group.

"Dear Sola..."

Grabbing the air with the hand that Sania and Rhulu were about to stretch out, turning to Sharina and the others as they had decided to.

"Sharina, I can't tell you anything about not listening. Explain."

Sora walked out to the back of the island, being taken by an elder, listening to a question Lulu would throw at his former village companions with a rugged eye.

"... rebuilding villages and bonds, which is harder"

Sora muttered to herself and sighed.

It's been over a decade since Sania and Rhulu and Sharina and the others got along. Assuming Sania and Rhulu allow it, we won't be able to go back to the way things were.

Still, for Sania and Rhulu, who do not have a hometown, if the former village is to be rebuilt and welcomed, a new relationship may be forged.

Now there is nothing else I wish for.

"Over there."

The elder points to the barn on the outskirts of the village behind the island.

A man stood in front of the barn. Someone must have informed Sola of her arrival.

The man bowed his head deeply as he caught Sola's appearance in his eyes.

Sora stands in front of the man while she thinks it's just the day she's been bowed her head.

"Long time no see, Geist"

"Long time no see, Master Sola. That verse is very inconvenient."

"You don't know which verse you're talking about. About the village of Ogarite, or the sudden disappearance?"

Geist lowered his head deeper as Sora stabbed him with a thorn of words.

I guess there's no word to give it back.

Sola takes Geist into the barn.

"I was surprised when they contacted me through Ike. Where have you been?

Sitting on the chair provided for the barn, Sola asks Geist.

Geist took the map out of the baggage he had left beside his desk.

"National Cartoons, and so on. In addition to the new country of Ziyuz, we have traveled around various other countries to prepare for today."

When Count Sola's territory was still Viscount Kleinsert's territory, and the third year after the Viscount's establishment, Geist evaporated with Sharina and disappeared from the tabular stage of politics.

There were rumors in town that he had been assassinated for buying church haters Sora's unhappiness, but the truth is that Geist, who feared he would be involved in the battle between Reul and Sora, had just evacuated.

Geist traveled in search of negotiating material with Sola for Sharina, who aims to rebuild her former village.

With the bills thus collected in his hand, he steps again upon the land of the kingdom, and now stands here.

Geist starts explaining the plan after telling him about it.

Geist looked like a warrior going to an unacceptable battle to pull.

"The plan is to create potato and shouro farms on the islands, which are economically falling behind the villages and towns of the continent, and to create sales channels in economic hubs such as crossports to match the seafood taken on the islands. In the future, we intend to combine the sale of ingredients at the various stores that are currently restaurants. The original plan was to sell the salt that removed the scabs in a hug, but Sola got me ahead of him."

Because it was the same as what Ike had told us beforehand, Sola proceeded without giving her any particular thoughts.

"Potatoes have dysfunction of continuity. Have you decided what to do with it?

"Fortunately, it's an archipelago, so I'm thinking of setting up a fallow land by building fields on some islands and planting them around."

Geist answers without precipitation, saying that he has only brought it in and has also learned about its proper nature.

Sola put her arms together.

"It is natural to set up fallow land, there is a problem of soil nutrition. What do we do?"

"I'm thinking about collecting compost from the acorn grove"

Sola reminds me of the red pine grove that covers the island.

Nothing can be used as compost.

But Sola was wondering if she would use something else.

"What happened to the stings?

"Hearing, is it?

Wonder why the stings come out here, Geist frowns trying to read Sora's thoughts.

In Geist's reaction, Sola embarked on herself, deciding she apparently didn't know.

"Let me help you with the fertilizer. It's dry and bitter earth lime."

He doesn't sound familiar with the fertilizer name Sola told him, and Geist's eyebrows come even closer.

Dry meat is literally fertilizer that crushed the dried eagle. It is nutritious and lightweight, making it easy to distribute.

"Dry meals are nutritious, so they go well with fertilizer eating cotton. You don't have to tell me later, you know?

"Exports to the territory of the Marquis of Beltze, is it"

Ike had imported animal cloths originating from Count Trinen's territory in the former disturbance of selling cloths, while the major northern chambers of commerce had imported vegetable cloths originating from the territory of the Marquis of Beltze.

Yes, cotton is grown in the Marquis de Beltze.

"I've always thought that it could be an important export as a territory with the sea, but I'm vulnerable to the Wizard's persuasion materials to the Marquis Belze if I don't produce them in experiments. Count Sola can barely farm, so I had no collaborators, and I was in a lot of trouble."

Sola smiles and explains another fertilizer as well.

Bitter earth lime is a fertilizer that supplies magnesium to the soil.

Magnesium is required for the formation of the chloroplast necessary for the plant to photosynthesize, and therefore, when absent, photosynthesis cannot take place and dies.

It is also a nutrient needed to perform photosynthesis.

However, bitter earth lime affects the soil because it is alkaline in itself.

Count Sola territory is a land with severe salt damage and is affected by seawater that traces back the river. In other words, it's a land pattern where bitter earth lime can be counterproductive.

"But some of the Orsk Islands are high above sea level with no retroactive seawater. It is also less affected by the wind thanks to the pine groves. I don't care if it's a symptomatic use, so try it."

Plants lacking magnesium are easy to discern because they develop symptoms of withering off leaves close to their roots.

"So make me some bites, too"

"Uh, missed, is it?

Geist looks perplexed as to whether he has had the illusion that the story is back.

The main components of bitter earth lime are calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide. The former is the main component of the shell, while the latter magnesium oxide is obtained by the heated decomposition of magnesium hydroxide.

"And magnesium hydroxide is obtained by hydrolysis of magnesium chloride. In other words, bitter earth lime is a raw material. You know how to remove it from salt, don't you? If you prepared it, I'll buy it here."

Even a scientific explanation at such a speed that it can only come with Llu can't possibly be understood by Geist.

But Geist nodded, taking Sora's word for buying away the cradle as a conclusion.

"I understand the story, but when it comes to producing materials on dried meat, bitter earth lime, and two fertilizers, we need quite a few fields. We'll be able to secure a location, but we're short on manpower."

As things stand, Geist and Sharina have only seven manpower who are former members of the Ogarite production village. It is also possible to seek the cooperation of the Islanders, but it is not clear because the Islanders also have a life.

But Sora laughed off such Geist's concerns.

"You have manpower."

What are you talking about, just in a mild tone, and Sora makes a cold voice that suddenly makes her spine cold.

"- Well, let's go arrest the workforce"
