Hearing his son say this, the King naturally became interested, "What is it? Tell me." Even though he was about to go to a meeting.

"Father, Louis is with Miss Morgan now!" Taylor’s tone was completely tattletale, and he even raised his chin with pride!

Then he coldly glanced at the two people behind him and asked, "Father, will you stop this?"

The King could sense his youngest son’s full discontent, and he calmly asked, "Why would I stop it?"

This stunned Taylor! His father’s past actions of driving him out of the palace replayed in his mind like a movie!

At this moment, Catherine and Julie also caught up, stopping beside them, panting for breath.

Before they had time to greet, they heard Taylor emotionally shouting at the King —

"Father! You stopped me from pursuing Jocelyn! Why can he do it? Aren’t we both your sons? How can you be so biased?!"

"Taylor!" Catherine was anxious, pulling her son’s arm and lowering her voice to reprimand him, "How are you speaking to your father? What kind of attitude is this?"

Mother was here too?

Her gaze was even sharper, as if warning him against losing his composure in front of Louis. Look how gentlemanly he is now! While you’re making a fuss!

Taylor was too lazy to explain to his mother, collecting his gaze to look back at the King, "Father! Please answer me!"

He was feeling the pain of losing Jocelyn and the hurt of being treated differently by his father, thinking he was being unjustly treated!

He felt aggrieved, his eyes filled with these two resentments, all of which the King understood.

"There’s no need to answer; haven’t you understood the situation yet?" Catherine was also worried about her son’s intelligence, she said, "Jocelyn and Prince Louis were a couple all along! They’ve always been dating! They just hadn’t made it public!"

"What?!" Taylor was utterly shocked, as if he had seen a ghost in broad daylight, widening his eyes to look at his mother, then at the young couple beside him.

Prince Louis still had his arm around Jocelyn Morgan’s shoulder. While his gaze at Taylor was calm, it held a touch of arrogance, which annoyed Taylor considerably.

And kind Jocelyn, she looked awkward, her pink lips tightly pressed together, feeling very sorry.

"Alright, have you all had breakfast?" The King spoke up, in a rather good spirit, "If not, hurry up, get ready for the meeting."

The earlier scene was deemed a farce by the King, and he wouldn’t pursue it as long as Taylor understood.

With that, the King started walking out of the palace, accompanied by servants and attendants.

Outside, a car was waiting. Someone opened the car door, escorting the King into the vehicle, as he was heading to the castle for the meeting.

"Jocelyn, let’s go have breakfast first." Saying this, Ian Shelby led the girl forward, not greeting Catherine or even glancing at Julie.

Taylor still hadn’t figured out the situation, and he felt like a clown! All the servants and guards nearby had their eyes on him.

"What are you looking at?!" He could only vent his anger at these people, "Look again, and I’ll gouge out your eyes!"

Three minutes later.

In one of the dining rooms, Catherine and Taylor sat across from each other, the table filled with various exquisite pastries and two cups of warm milk.

The King’s palace was vast, with many dining rooms, each of different kinds.

Catherine told her son in detail what she had witnessed the night before. Taylor listened, feeling as if he watched a thrilling movie.

"Why didn’t you call me for such an exciting scene?" Taylor regretted, "Eden is that bad?! Didn’t you kick him a few times?"

Seeing her son still so unsettled, and comparing him to Louis, Catherine couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. When will Taylor ever grow up?

"Son, your mother wants to ask you a question; answer truthfully."

Seeing his mother looking so thoughtful, Taylor set down his milk cup, "Okay, go ahead." He met her gaze, not only listening carefully but also thoughtfully considering.
