Chapter 1769: Prince Louis Loses More Points in My Impression
In the spacious and grand study room, Prince Taylor was writing his review with particular seriousness, having already discarded several paper balls into the wastebasket, leaving the three people outside waiting for two hours...
Writing a thousand-word review took him two hours, his attitude truly not at all perfunctory.
The royal physician’s legs were sore from standing, unable to retreat without orders.
Two hours later, the door opened. As Taylor was about to step out, he directly collided with the gaze of the three, his step faltered, nearly startled, "What are you doing here?"
"Hello, Prince." The royal physician quickly bowed respectfully.
Catherine, seeing her son’s appearance, felt heartbroken; the bloodstains at the corner of his mouth had dried, "I asked the royal physician to come take a look, so that you can heal a bit faster."
Taylor held the review in his hand and thought for a moment, "Wait here, I’m going out for a bit." Having said that, he stepped away.
He also wanted to heal, the mark on his face was unsightly, and it truly hurt.
The royal physician’s gaze fell on the piece of paper that Prince Taylor had folded twice, seemingly filled with writing.
Where was he going with the review paper?
After a brief moment of puzzlement, a thought suddenly popped into the royal physician’s mind—
The review paper was instructed by Prince Louis???
So... no wonder the Princess Consort looked so displeased, oh dear, this Prince Louis was really inconsiderate. Even if he was going to be King, the Princess Consort was still a senior; you should mind the owner while reprimanding their dog, right?
Thus, the royal physician’s impression of Prince Louis dropped slightly again.
As Ian Shelby and Jocelyn were returning to their palace, a passing guard quietly reported, "Prince, Miss Morgan, Prince Taylor has arrived and is waiting in the hall for you."
Ian paused his steps, glanced towards the direction of the palace, "Hmm." His handsome face remained emotionless.
The guard bowed respectfully to them, then stepped aside to make way, and the two moved towards the palace.
Everyone knew that only Taylor himself had come, the Princess Consort did not come. Did he finish the review so soon? So, his apology attitude seemed decent.
The two stepped through the palace door.
"Hello, Prince." The servants inside bowed respectfully, "Hello, Miss Morgan."
"You may all leave now." Ian said coolly, his gaze falling on Taylor standing not far away, then stopping directly in front of him.
The brothers’ gazes met.
Very soon, only the three of them were left in the vast hall.
Ian and Jocelyn stood in front of Taylor; Ian’s face was impassive, his eyes coolly fixed on him, though not expressing anger, yet still not pleased.
Taylor lowered his gaze briefly, "Brother, here’s the review." He truly seemed like a child admitting fault, handing over the handwritten review with both hands.
Ian didn’t immediately take it, Jocelyn pursed her lips, slowly turning her gaze towards him.
She noticed him staring unwaveringly at Taylor, those eyes no longer harbored anger but rather showed disappointment.
Jocelyn gently nudged Ian’s arm, and about five seconds later, Ian extended his left hand to take it.
He glanced lightly at the writing, then spoke calmly, "Whether you’re forgiven depends on how insightful this review is. Since you wrote it seriously, rest assured, I will also review it seriously and won’t just throw it away."
Listening, Taylor still dared not lift his gaze; he knew he had overstepped and couldn’t undo the situation.
Even Jocelyn felt that Ian’s tone was extremely cold, the voice was both chilling and pleasant to hear, the demeanor was remarkably aloof!
Having vented already, he didn’t plan to argue with his brother further, yet he still intended to teach him a lesson, making him deeply remember never to repeat similar actions again—a true brotherly stance.
