Chapter 1665: Clingy as a Leech
"Jocelyn!" Taylor looked like he’d been injected with adrenaline upon seeing her, always thinking of getting closer to her, his hands becoming quite unruly, "How about I take you horseback riding? The royal grounds have a huge riding arena, it’s really spectacular!"
He gestured happily like a child.
"I’ve said I don’t like horseback riding." Jocelyn Morgan didn’t slow her pace, deliberately keeping her distance, but to avoid offending anyone, she smiled again as she explained.
Taylor, however, couldn’t catch her meaning, or perhaps he simply didn’t want to understand.
"Then what do you like? Do you like playing golf?" He kept walking and watching her, his eyes shining, still eagerly pestering.
"I don’t like it either." Jocelyn shook her head, quickening her pace.
"What about skiing?"
"Don’t like it."
"Then what do you actually like?" Taylor followed beside her, always smiling warmly at her, "You should tell me, whatever you like, I’ll definitely like too!"
Upon hearing this, Jocelyn Morgan suddenly stopped smiling and halted her steps!
Taylor stopped as well but was quite happy, still looking joyfully at her, because he thought Jocelyn was about to seriously answer his question, he was full of anticipation!
"Prince Taylor, why can’t I make myself clear to you?" Jocelyn Morgan felt quite helpless, finally unable to resist pointing it out, "Do you like me?"
"Huh?" Taylor was caught off guard, did the topic just spin around?
Was he being that obvious?
But he seized the opportunity, nodded, and quickly answered, "Yeah, I really like you!"
"I have a boyfriend, my brother told you, right?"
Taylor was stunned again, he replied, "Your brother told you, he didn’t tell me."
Jocelyn Morgan was a bit speechless, was he not too sharp??
"Isn’t that the same thing? Anyways, you’re aware of it," Jocelyn Morgan didn’t wish to be tangled up with him anymore, so she spelled it out again—
"I have a boyfriend in Riventhal, so thank you for liking me, but please keep your feelings to yourself, I could never like you, at most we could be friends."
Taylor, however, put his hands in his pockets, smirked slightly, and declared, "Jocelyn Morgan, I’ve dated girlfriends before, and always with the intent to marry, but what happened? They all ended up breaking up after a few years?"
"What... what do you mean?" Jocelyn Morgan felt like she was stuck with a persistent annoyance, "I’m not interested in your relationship history."
Taylor didn’t want her to get angry, and he hoped her nerves would relax a bit, so he looked around at the scenery.
Then he turned towards her with a gentle smile, "What I mean is, you’re not married yet, I still have a chance, I’m very serious about liking you, it’s the kind of like that has marriage as its purpose."
"..." Jocelyn Morgan was taken aback by him!
She felt she couldn’t communicate with him, so she started walking forward.
"Hey, Jocelyn!" Taylor quickly caught up with her pace again.
"Please, Prince, don’t follow me anymore, I have to go back to work on my translations." Jocelyn Morgan couldn’t help but quicken her steps, wanting to maintain distance.
"I’m not following you." Taylor explained as he walked, "I need to go see my father, it’s my father, okay?" He acted like a rogue.
Jocelyn Morgan paid him no heed and swiftly walked towards the King’s palace.
But Taylor didn’t think she was annoyed by him, rather he felt her heartbeats were out of sync, that she was shy because she wanted to flee, she was truly adorable.
