Chapter 1779: Matters Concerning the Inheritance Ceremony
Compared to the physician’s anxiety and unease, the King appeared very composed. He tossed the remaining food from the basket into the pond, attracting fish that leapt for it.
"He dismissed you, naturally he has his reasons." The King said, without looking at him, just stating, "I won’t undermine him, nor will I ask for the reasons on your behalf. I think you probably understand it yourself."
Upon hearing this, the physician suddenly understood that the King had orchestrated his dismissal!

But the reality was an illusion; the King was unaware of this matter and had just learned about it.

In a certain lavish palace, Ian Shelby sat at the desk, a row of organized bookshelves behind him, mostly filled with limited edition books.
He sat in a carved sandalwood chair, holding Taylor’s handwritten apology, having read it so many times he could recite its contents.
He had just read it one last time, his lips curled as he tore the apology letter to shreds, then threw it into the wastebasket.
This matter has been thoroughly resolved for Ian Shelby; he forgave Taylor from the depths of his heart.
In another room, Jocelyn Morgan hugged her laptop and sat by the window, her slender fingers tapping on the keyboard, her whole heart immersed in the story, earnestly writing her novel.
Despite being in Lorelei’s royal family during this period, she never stopped her updates and consistently wrote every day.
Having experienced so much with Ian Shelby, she had grown considerably, and her writing had become more profound and introspective.
Outside the window, a lush green scene faded away, the air carrying a hint of earthy sweetness, and her writing state was excellent.

Ian Shelby found it quite interesting; he smiled, "Sure, ask Prince Taylor if he wants to play and reserve a spot for CEO Kingston."
"Alright." The Duke was very pleased, wearing a smile, "It seems this football match will surely be a highlight."
"Although everyone may not be professionals, participation is key." Ian Shelby also enjoyed football.
The Duke reported further, "The succession ceremony will be grandly held at the Elysium Cathedral, nearly fully arranged. Would you like to take the time to personally oversee it?"
"No need." Ian Shelby looked up at him, his gentle gaze affirming, "You all must be experienced; I trust you to handle it well."
"Thank you."

"Prince, Prince Taylor looks much better, he’s able to walk freely." The Duke knew a little about the reasons for Prince Taylor’s injury.
