Umi to Kaze no Oukoku

IX Grandpa's Island

When Karin was often away to prepare for independence, Hassan partitioned out of the palace with our faces. Hassan, Ali's grandson, was hostile to his grandfather's rival, Rashind.

"I'd love to go see my sister..."

It was Shaw who wanted to see his brother Marche or his newborn sister, but it's a tough atmosphere to get to Rashind's mansion.

"I can't breathe! This would have been better if Brother Karin had taught martial arts."

I care all about Hassan's complexion, or Nash rebelling against it. The atmosphere in the outhouse sucked.

Shaw, who woke up early in the morning, remembers that Karin has been away since yesterday and gets sick of eating breakfast again in a disgusting way.

"Brother Karin, you're the grandson of Minister of Military Affairs Zahaan, and Brother Hassan, you're the grandson of Ali, the great merchant. Brother Nash's grandfather said he would marry his daughter on Brother Karin, and Brother Radic said he would get the ship from Ali."

In my grandfather's relationship, when I thought my brotherhood was getting worse, I realized I knew nothing about my grandfather.

"Speaking of which, I never went to your mother's home."

Shaw spreads the map in the library to see where Mario Island is located.

"Hmm, my mother was born on such a despicable island."

The United Kingdom of the Southeast Islands of the Kingdom of the Sea thrived in its dealings with the northern continent. Shaw couldn't understand how Ruby, born on a small island off that route, became King Aslan's wife.

"You sure are an amazing beauty, aren't you? Well, I was born because you two met."

Rounding the map with a circle, I bring out a measuring instrument forged by Karin from the desk in the room.

"After that, it's food and drink! Oh, maybe we'll go wild, and we'll take the blanket. Well, Mia shouldn't worry, so let's write it down."

"To Mia. I'm going to your grandfather's island. I plan to take a day trip, but maybe I'll stay...... Shaw '

I'd love to take a day trip if I could, but we're going as far away as Mario Island. If Sands gets tired, he's gonna have to take a break, and then Mia's gonna worry and make a scene. Shaw thinks briefly that he won't worry if he leaves a note.

Food and drinks are always available outside the dining room, where the princes live. Pack bread, baked confectionery, and fruit in a bag in the dining room before breakfast, and add tea to the water bottle for drinks.

Shaw runs to the dragon house before the servants prepare breakfast.

"Sands, I'm gonna go a little far, but are you okay?

Sands, who slept in the dragon house, replies that she was fine because she ate until she was full yesterday.

"Where are you going?

Sands wondered as Shaw, saddled, bracketed blankets, bags, etc.

'We're going to Mario Island. Your grandfather lives here, so you're going to see him.'

Sands loves flying with Shaw, so he's fine in the distance. Here, I would have stopped Meryl the parent dragon, but I didn't hate her.

Thus began Shaw's little adventure.

"Yeah, fly northwest first!

Flying northwest of the royal palace, down to the island if you get tired along the way, measuring and then fine-tuning the direction is Shaw's simple plan. If Meryl had, she would have informed Aslan, and no matter how relentless her parents would have stopped her reckless eight-year-old journey.

'Okay!

Sands was still young, and under the influence of Shaw's feeling excited about the adventure, we didn't even realize we were on a reckless journey.

Leaving Faminina Island, where Leyte is, flying for about two hours, Shaw worries that the Sands might be tired.

'Time to get down and take a break!

'You can still fly!

Sands is unhappy to be cared for by Shaw, even though he was only born a few months early.

"Sands is fine, but I'm getting tired, and I want to get to Mario Island, so I have to gauge if I'm going in the wrong direction."

The Sands have no choice but to go down to the island.

"Get down to the beach as far as you can without people."

People in the United Kingdom of the Southeast Islands fear dragons, so Shaw, who doesn't want to make a scene, unloads Sands on an unpopular beach.

Shaw takes his saddle off and measures and batens on the map as he twists the fruit he brings.

"How's it going? How far to Mario Island, how long?

'Yeah, not yet. But I'm not going in the wrong direction, so at this rate, we're going to get there after noon.'

Mia was about to pass out at the Royal Palace when Shaw flew down to Mario Island several times, fine-tuning it.

"Didn't you have Shaw for breakfast?

Mia feels suspicious when she receives a report from an out-of-house squire.

"I heard Master Ruby gave birth to a girl, did he go to Lady Racindo's mansion early in the morning?

Mia was concerned about the bad vibe of the outhouse these days. In front of Hassan, Shaw has difficulty getting to Lassind's mansion, so he frowns as to whether he got out early in the morning.

"I really want Ali to do something about it!

Wanting to succeed his grandson Hassan, Ali was entertaining not only the merchants, but also the royals at the banquet and giving them money.

Mia was angry with herself that she couldn't do anything about it, but as long as Aslan was pretending she didn't know, Ali couldn't stop.

After receiving a report that she didn't even have lunch, Mia panics that she didn't go to Lassind's mansion. Hermia, the First Lady of Rashind, will definitely let you know something if you want to have lunch with her.

"Well, then where's Shaw?

Having asked the samurai to look into Sands' absence, Mia finds a brief write-down in Shaw's room and faints.

"Your grandfather's island is Mario! Where the hell is it?

Neither did Mia, familiar with the deal, know the location of Mario Island on the island off the route.

"If Master Aslan needs me, I'll follow him..."

You can't catch up with dragons on a ship. Mia wonders for a moment whether it's okay to send a dragon knight waiting for the royal palace to respond to an emergency to run away from the prince's house.

When I sent the Dragon Knight, I was worried Shaw's thoughtless actions would go public.

"If I show you already! If you want to go to Mario Island, you should have said something..."

Mia, who doesn't even know where Aslan went, decides that she'll have to take full responsibility in case anything happens and waits for Shaw and Sands to come home safely.

Without knowing anything about Mia's worries, Shaw swallowed up to Sands and Mario Island.

"Wow! It's such a beautiful island."

Mario Island, north of Leyte, was a green paradise floating in the emerald green sea.

Shaw and Sands take a whopping breath down the white sandy beach where the reef crumbled.

"Hey, I want to take a sea bath"

I can't imagine the Sands having their saddles removed not swimming in such a beautiful sea.

"Yeah, but not since I met your grandfather."

After fulfilling his purpose first, Shaw appeared from the other side, if he had been teaching Sands.

"Maybe you're from Leyte?

Mario Island is rarely visited by dragon knights, so Kerin, the island owner, came to the beach to see what was going on.

"Yeah, I say Shaw. I came to see my grandfather. My mother's name is Ruby, but don't you know my grandfather?

Kellin was surprised to learn that this was his grandson Prince Shaw.

"I'm Kellin, Ruby's father. So, are you... are you here alone? Was there something wrong? Did you miss Ruby because she remarried?

Kellin knew by letter that her daughter had given birth to Shaw and left the rear palace, remarried Large Merchant Rashind and had two more children.

Shaw, left alone in the backyard, came to such a despicable island, worried that he might have been abused and hard.

"Grandfather, it's okay because I was raised very dearly by your father's First Lady, Mia. Besides, I see my mother and brother. I'm here because I've never met your grandfather."

Kellin is relieved to see Shaw grew up bright.

"Well, that's good. I was just about to have lunch. Let's eat together."

Shaw follows Kellin, temporarily, as he was also interested in the life of the island.

"The dragon came down, but what happened?

Islanders also ask questions when they see Kellin, the island lord, because he was aware of the dragon.

"My grandson came on a dragon from Late."

Shaw has a reluctance, a stiff word Kellin, but a crushed way of talking to the Islanders.

"Grandfather, you don't need to salute me."

Shaw asks Kellin when he gets to the well-ventilated house.

"But Shaw is a prince... oh, yeah! We have to make a whole grill of pigs and treat them!

I smelled fish simmering in the kitchen. Shaw would surely be at night if he had a whole grill of pigs from now on.

"Grandfather, I have to go home by the end of the day, so do the pork roast again. Besides, I'm hungry and I want to swim with Sands at sea, so let's have lunch."

"Well, next time I come, I'll feed you a round roast."

After his wife died and his sons became independent, Kerin continued to live alone, so he was also a good fish cook.

"It'll be delicious in the morning because it's a fish I took"

Shaw also eats a bunch of freshly removed fish, and if he can't eat any more, Kellin stops cooking one after the other.

Shaw wondered if such a relaxing life would suit him while eating post-meal fruit.

"It's a shame you have to go home by the end of the day. There's nothing on this island, but take this home."

Kerin has the dried fish taken from the island wrapped in leaves.

"If you and Sands take a sea bath, you'll go home! Because Mia has to worry."

While Shaw is seabathing with Sands, Kellin puts out a canoe and pokes a few fish with a mole.

"Look, eat!

Kerin tries to feed not only his grandson Shaw, but also the dragon who brought him on board, and he gives him a fish.

"Yum!"

Having successfully caught fish in the air, Sands eats many puckers.

'I didn't know dragons would eat fish. Next time, I'll give it to you when I take it!

On the beach behind the outhouse, the princes were swimming, taking fish and barbecueing.

'This is my first time eating fish, but it's delicious!

Shaw bids his grandfather farewell because he was satisfied with the seawater bath and the sands he ate full of fish.

"Grandfather, I'll be back! Until then, stay well!

Kerin dropped him off on the beach until he couldn't see his grandson on the dragon. I thought the prince would never come to such a despicable island.

"I know where Reite is, so I'll be home soon."

Sands, once gone, is remembered in his head.

"Heh, that's awesome!

Mindful of Shaw's compliments, Sands strained and arrived at Reite by evening.

"Shaw! Good and safe..."

Mia kept waiting in front of the dragon house for her to come home, hugged her, and Shaw reflected heartily on her anxiety.

"Mia, I'm sorry. This is a souvenir from my grandfather on Mario Island."

Mia, who received a large amount of fish dried, from now on reserved herself just to stab the nail telling her to go. Because I noticed Shaw reflecting properly.

That night, the dried fish soup from Mario Island was served out of the palace.
