Umi to Kaze no Oukoku

Twenty words shall we dance?

"What, is it a dance? No, I can't do it at all ~. Do you need that?

In Chancellor Flanagan's office, Shaw discusses attending the wedding of Prince Stewart of the Kingdom of Cazaria.

"It's the custom of the Kingdom of Cazaria, so I need you to hang out with me for about a dance."

To the grinning Chancellor Flanagan, Shaw sets himself up. When the Chancellor laughs, there's nothing wrong with that. First, Shaw was going to categorically refuse to imagine his father dancing or something.

"I'll be in line for the wedding, I'll be at dinner, I'll be at the ball, but do I need to dance? Didn't your father even take part in those events?

I thought Chancellor Flanagan was poked at a painful spot, but he doesn't seem to be working there, such as the Chancellor of the United Kingdom of the Southeast Islands.

"This is a difficult time, and Prince Shaw was studying at the University of Paloma, so the other culture will be understood. Last year, the Kingdom of Iran is trying to forge friendship by letting the Kingdom of Laurent, which was its host enemy, daughter-in-law Princess Ariena of the First Princess. Besides, the Crown Prince of the Allied Kingdom of Cazaria will marry Princess Rosalimond of the Second Princess. The three former empires will be united in marriage. Do you know what this means?"

Even if Chancellor Flanagan didn't tell him, Shaw knew the whole continent would be linked in marriage, but wonders what that has to do with dancing.

"Oh, you don't understand it at all anymore. The Kingdom of Iran has 0 tariffs between the two countries in alliance relations with the Kingdom of Cazaria. Although we entered into a marital relationship with the Kingdom of Laurent last year, the two countries, which were enemies, will not soon become friendships, but if Prince Alexei becomes king, we may have a tri-national alliance."

Shaw listens silently to Prime Minister Flanagan's opinion of the water on the stand.

"My country now controls the deal, but there's no way those three countries can overlook it with their fingers crossed. We will have a treaty in favor of merchants from all over the country. So whether to stop it, join the tri-national alliance, or the United Kingdom of the South-East Islands is at a serious crossroads to join hands with the small nations of the Golce continent on its own path."

"But what does that have to do with dancing?

Shaw also understands that the situation is difficult right now, but argues that there is still no need to dance.

"Diplomacy and socialization are close. Marriage systems in our country are too different from those in the Three Kingdoms, so it's hard to enter into a political marriage as well, but you'll need to get along with your monarchs. Prince Shaw is young, so I want you to be in charge of foreign affairs with the three Doshidoshi countries."

Shaw can't imagine a picture of his father lovingly dating a monarch of another country. Chancellor Flanagan has a sense of crisis that he may intend to push himself.

"Does Lara have to wear an imperial-style dress? Seems pretty exposed though."

Chancellor Flanagan is also a little unfamiliar with this aspect, so it is unusual to mumble. I'm also afraid to piss off Kazim, who is also the head of the royal family.

"I leave that to Lady Lara's discretion. Perhaps some dresses are less exposed, but I'm not familiar with these things. I will contact Ambassador Nuton of the Kingdom of Iran."

If Lara herself chooses an open dress on her chest or back and Prince Shaw of Forgiveness admits it, Kazim should give up too. And the fashion thing passes the problem to local Ambassador Nuton.

"Why ask Ambassador Nuton, who is stationed in the Kingdom of Iran, when he is going to a wedding in the Kingdom of Cazaria?

"The fashion of the Imperial Three Kingdoms is created in Jungfrau. The Kingdom of Cazaria also has a headache for the tremendous amount of money flowing through your ladies' dresses, fabrics and laces. I don't know the difference, but the dress that suits your ladies' tastes is created by Madame from the western courtroom in Jungfrau. If Lala were to make an imperial-style dress, she might need to go first to Jungfrau."

Shaw remembered Jungfrau, the big city he visited once to get Franz to get Ingas Deck Manager out of his cabin.

"Jungfrau was protected by the Dragon Knight."

Shaw wondered what the fashion capital, Jungfrau, was like when Captain Cassidy Dragon Knight, who was kind enough to guide him to Franz's mansion, was also supposed to be a martial artist.

"The three kingdoms of the old empire are heavily weighed by dragon knights. If the king isn't a dragon knight, he can't be either. Countries were troubled by the small number of successors, but it is advantageous to enter into a marital relationship because the kings and wives of the Kingdom of Iran have many children. And they say the princesses are dragon knights, so both the Kingdom of Laurent and the Kingdom of Cazaria will marry in anticipation of the prince of the dragon knight."

There will be political marriages because they are royal marriages, but Shaw argues that they are compassionate because Prince Stewart had asked him enough to have an octopus in his ear about his fiancé Princess Rosalimond's noroke while he was studying abroad.

"Huh, you were still only close to Crown Prince Stewart. If you two are compassionate, it's no use setting up a honey trap... the king of the kingdom of Kazaria has a slight affair habit, so let's tell Ambassador Pasham to wait until he's tired"

Prime Minister Flanagan told Shaw, who has his eyes patched on a hell of a story, that this is common sense, and that he told me some of the traps of the late King Georg of the Kingdom of Laurent, who is often more nasty to diplomatic traps.

"King Georg married King Kazaria's niece to Crown Prince Rudolph's concubine, while appealing for friendship and capturing the border mines. Besides, when I wanted a trace of Yuri taking over her abilities as a dragon knight who has now become queen of the Iranian kingdom, I could do whatever the Crown Princess wanted to do by divorcing her for trespassing."

"Terrible!" Shaw said angrily.

"It was before King Georg died, but I also suspect that King Edoardo of the Kingdom of Cazaria put him in the singing princess. Indeed, a singing princess called Penelope is a refugee from the Kingdom of Laurent. There's no certainty about this, and I wouldn't even call Penelope a secret detective because he wasn't too smart himself, but I also thought diplomats from all over the country smelled like it."

Shaw also heard rumors of a mistress named Penelope in New Paloma, so he was slightly interested.

"Didn't you lose yourself to the singing princess because you were a refugee and had trouble living? I'm sorry to hear that, but isn't the same story common in New Paloma?"

"Well, refugee living is tough, so it wouldn't be uncommon to sell your daughter to a whorehouse. It's just that Penelope looked just like Queen Yuri. King Edoardo famously fought King Gregorius and Queen Euri of the Kingdom of Iran when he was young. Besides, Queen Yuri's reputation for singing was wonderful, so what a frigid singing princess with a similar appearance. When we get to this point, you'll smell like puffy Georg. No king would be so glad to die."

I feel like I smell the stench behind politics, and Shaw says diplomacy is impossible or something.

"A young Prince Shaw will not get his hands dirty. It's just that I can't be close to kings and crowns personally when it comes to ambassadors, so it's hard to identify personalities and relationships. I urge Prince Shaw to be close to the royal families of all nations and to take them in favor of the United Kingdom of the Southeast Islands. I'll take care of the rest."

I knew with a full smile that Chancellor Flanagan laughing had trouble setting up a honey trap or something on Crown Prince Stewart, Shaw looked difficult, but suspected that he would not set it up if there were no gaps in the person.

I had no confidence in diplomacy, but Shaw and Lara were specially trained in dance at Kazim's mansion.

"Sorry, Lara, you stepped on my foot."

"No, I've stepped on my feet too many times."

Kazim sighs loudly as he leans against the cushion watching the two bad dances.

"Father, I've learned the steps. Brother Shaw, can I dance with you up there?

Unlike Lara, who reads books all the time, Mimi had a good sense of rhythm because she was learning ethnic dance in the Southeast Islands. The dance teacher was sternly instructed to let him master the dance as soon as possible, so he was surprised to try and dance with Mimi and remember the steps perfectly.

"It's just tragic that Prince Shaw and Princess Lara, whose steps are nasty, are practiced. Prince Shaw will practice with Princess Mimi and Princess Lara with me."

Lara gets tired of Mimi not giving up Shaw yet. He remembers the steps early, wants to dance with Shaw, and works hard with enthusiasm.

As Mimi lightly steps, she can now see Shaw's dance, so Kazim is relieved to do the same. Lara didn't have as good a sense of rhythm as her sister, but she made up for it with her memory so she could dance beautifully with her dance teacher.

"The problem is Prince Shaw, isn't it? Originally, if a man's lead is solid, dancing is okay even if a woman is a little poorly. I will dance the female part, so Prince Shaw will be specially trained until he can lead gracefully."

"Eh! Hold and dance with the man! So disgusting."

Lara and Mimi look at Shaw, who is grabbed and specially trained by enthusiastic dance teachers, in peace.

"If you don't want to dance with Mimi, you can safely watch. Well, Master Shaw looks terribly nasty."

"My sister and I should just go to a wedding or dinner party and go to a ball with me ~"

When Lara and Mimi watched Shaw's special training with dance teachers and were caught up in various thoughts, Rosina was grounded in remorse at a nearby Lazlow mansion.

"Why is Lara the only one attending the wedding of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Cazaria? Besides, I can't believe you even followed Mimi! Uncle Kazim, I'm so jealous that you're learning to dance to your imperial-style body! Ask your father to take me with you to King Aslan."
