Umi to Kaze no Oukoku

25 Capital of the Kingdom of Surah

Shaw and the others traveled for Salizan along the Zebio River. Little by little Pips got used to flying with Shirin, and it was a smooth journey, either because Tarsh was in the sky, or because the dragon was on his side, or because Shaw never encountered the snake he was worried about.

Wonder and Version take a serious look at the flat riverboat coming and going in front of the Shaws who were taking a noon break.

"You're letting me pull horses off the coast to go back to the river. Go back while you change the wires."

"It's easy to get down, isn't it? But some ships don't use horses. Looks like the boat's going to have to sail or scratch it."

The two Navy idiots have no eyes on the ship and praise the ship they go to.

The Kingdom of Sura was a subtropical, or kingdom that cut through jungles close to the tropics, with many rivers flowing in the country besides the Zebio River, with dark greenery and moisture in the air.

The town was spreading along the river, but Shaw patterned his clothes and let the wind through it, wondering if it was built in a somewhat high-altitude, ventilated area.

"Pips, aren't your clothes hot? You want me to lend you my change?

Basically the clothes in the Southeast Islands were well ventilated as well, but the clothes of Pips in the village of Gorza in the mountains are wool textiles, so it seemed hot and bitter just to watch.

"Right, Pips, you should buy some clothes in town"

Wonder could not lend himself or his version of the Navy uniform, of course, and he thought it was not possible to wear Prince Shaw's clothes to a graduate, so he suggested buying them.

"Right, Pips is shorter than me, so the long coat could drag the hem. I want to see what's going on in town, and let's go buy a set of clothes."

The version recognises that Shaw is a prince again when he doesn't know that the long coat he is wearing is the finest hemp.

As we approached the capital down the river, the town was growing, so there was also a shopping district lined up with food stores, hardware stores and clothing stores. It was just a despicable shopping district for the three of them who grew up in the commercial capital of Leyte, but Pips was surprised that the overflowing merchandise and shoppers were busier than the city.

The near-year-old version told Pipps laughing and telling him that this was still rural.

"Surizan of the Kingdom of Surah is the capital of green and water. I can't compare you to a country town like this."

Has Shaw ever stopped at Sullisan's for Wonder and Version? I asked in surprise. Wonder's gone! And I answer that I once went to say that I glanced at the version but had no choice but to do this.

"Yeah, Wonder? Why didn't you tell me about Sarizan before? Could it be because the snake is left alone?

Wonder assures me that's not true.

"Look, you didn't leave anyone here to let the snake go. I keep it in my house. We just didn't talk about it because Master Shaw doesn't like going to Salizan."

Shaw thought something was suspicious, but it's obvious that we have to go, and we'll get there tomorrow, so stop pursuing it and pick out Pipps' clothes.

Wonder was horrified, but when he saw the Temple of the Snake God, the largest building in Salizan, he sighed, wishing Prince Shaw hadn't passed out.

"Maybe Master Shaw doesn't like snakes?

The version comes to Wonder's side and asks in a whisper so that Shaw, who is passionate about choosing Pips' clothes, doesn't notice.

"That's right! So don't talk about Sarizan's temple."

"But when you get to Salizan, you'll definitely catch your eye. It's such a big building."

When we get to Sarizan on the version, we'll say it's our job to bring Shaw to the embassy anyway.

"You just have to leave the rest to Ambassador Raben. There is no such thing as diplomacy."

Oh, choosing such cheap clothes makes Wonder change into better clothes, even if the prince's squire is awkward in the same clothes as those lads there.

"Wonder? Anyway, when you get to the embassy, they'll pay for your clothes. Cool would be nice if I wore it everyday. Shall I wear a short sleeve shirt and half pants, too?

Absolutely not! And I still think Pips is weird about Shaw being scolded.

Pipps guesses whether Wonder or version is Master Shaw's minister. Because I was always trying to protect Shaw from the others.

If a few guys walk from across the road, there's definitely a version or wonder standing in front of them, and Shaw walks it as normal. Pipps thought this meant he was used to having an escort.

Pipps traveled with him and figured Shaw was a highly identifiable person, Wonder was an eyewitness, and the version was quite close to the truth, if not an offering.

When I changed my clothes to a cool short sleeve shirt of cotton and long trousers, Pips looked like a resident of the Kingdom of Surah. The inhabitants of the depths of the Kingdom of Surah were also light black in color and had many black eyes in their dark hair, but because as they went downstream they often saw people with thin skin and brown hair.

"Pips looks just like the people downstream of the Kingdom of Surah, doesn't it? There are a lot of foreigners on the coast, and there's a mix going on. Is it because it's polygamous? Polygamy? Uh, the queen is a polygamous wife, isn't she? Reverse Harlem, is it?

Wonder reminds me of something a little heavy and makes me feel dojo. Wonder goes to the embassy with Sassa and asks me to take a bath.

"Embassy? What is it?

There was not even a country in the undisclosed mountains, nor did Pips know the embassy.

"Embassies are places where ambassadors are stationed in countries they associate with to protect people in their own countries or negotiate with them. My country, the United Kingdom of the Southeast Islands, is a maritime country, and it deals with a lot of countries, so there's an embassy in the Kingdom of Sura."

Wonder and Version sigh that Pips' education is going to take time. I can read and write in the official languages, and I have acquired medicinal herbs and wisdom of life, but I lacked the knowledge of the world.

But they didn't know that this was enough for ordinary people and that traders and sailors in the Southeast Islands, whose deals flourished, were considerably different from those in other countries.

"Pips, you need martial arts to be a dragon knight, but you also need to study. Let's do it one by one."

Wonder urges Prince Shaw, who doesn't really want to go to Salizan, to stand up and leave, saying the break is over. Pipps, who was watching how it went, asks the version of him riding the cylinder, although it kind of looks like Master Shaw doesn't want to go to Salizan.

"Master Shaw doesn't like snakes. Don't tell me!

It was a less knowledgeable pip from the outside world, but I was told by a traveling merchant that the Kingdom of Surah worships the Serpent God, so I'm convinced he's on his way.

"I hear Salizan has a splendid Snake God temple, but I wonder if it's all right?

Pips worries, remembering how the snake god's temple was, which the traveling merchant was so proud of.

"The temple is frontal in the direction seen from the sea, so we go from the mountainside, so maybe Master Shaw won't notice..."

Pips just listened and didn't see the actual temple, so he wasn't sure what the version of the word meant, but thought he wouldn't like it if he hated snakes.

Shaw didn't even know that, and he was flying Sands toward Salizan.

The more downstream the river widened and the river flow slowed, but over a slightly higher hill the river parted into several tributaries and the city of Salizan opened with Pa.

"You're a very big city. Well, Salizan's spread all over the Zebio River Delta."

Wander tried to get Shaw, who was sightseeing Salizan from above in a swallowing manner, to turn from behind with instructions that the building over there was an embassy in the Southeast Islands.

"What, which building?

Shaw, looking back at Wonder, solidifies in his eyes a statue of a golden serpent on a giant temple that soars.

"Shaw? Are you okay?

Wonder shakes her shoulders back to sanity, shaking her eyes out of that huge object, even as Sands worries and calls her voice.

"Dear Shaw, let's go to the embassy! Look, it's a white stone building in the middle of that hill. The front over there is towards the sea, so the temple is out of sight. Come on, let's go!

Shaw couldn't be in the air all the time either, and he instructed Sands to go to the embassy building.

Pips and Version were surprised that Sands stopped, but they also turned around and noticed the giant golden snake, screaming ahhh.

"Pips, Prince Shaw could be rough, so I'll ask for it"

Pips was surprised to hear of the prince, but convinced that Stone and I felt like we had fallen to our chest.

"What, is Mr. Version or Master Wonder not on your side?

The version told Pips that we were Cadofel officers and cadets, so when the ship entered the port, we asked him to return.

"Master Shaw doesn't like snakes, so why did you come to the Kingdom of Surah?

The version was a cadet who swore allegiance to King Aslan, so it was difficult to explain.

"Prince Shaw has a lot to do even if he doesn't like it. Pips needs to be there to support you."

Pips was surprised to hear Shaw saved his life as a prince, but I feel sorry for him that he seems to be in a harder position than that.

Guess I didn't call myself a prince because I was on an easygoing journey, and pull my mind together watching ambassadors and officials rush out and politely welcome Prince Shaw, who landed at the embassy.
