"Listen to me. Pass down the order to do exactly that. There are some things you don’t understand; you just need to do as you’re told. Also, notify the Fan Family’s business empire and have them step forward. I’d like to see who dares to touch the Lin Family then! If that’s not enough, we’ll let my brother’s forces surface as well," Liu Mu said indifferently.

Upon hearing this, Li Wei was dumbfounded. What is this all about? The Wumi Building and the Fan Family’s business empire aren’t enough? He even wants the Second Master’s forces to emerge? What in the world is he planning? Although these thoughts raced through his mind, Li Wei didn’t dare ask and immediately passed the message on.

By now, Lin Kuang’s affairs were settled. The family left the Martyrs’ Tomb and returned to the Lin Family estate. In Lin Guodong’s room, Lin Kuang and Lin Zhan gathered. They were the only three left in the Lin Family.

"Lin Kuang, it’s time you knew—Lin Zhan is your second uncle. He’s my biological brother," Lin Guodong said, looking at Lin Kuang.

At those words, Lin Kuang was profoundly shaken, staring at Lin Zhan in disbelief. The leader of the Dragon Front is my second uncle? The thought was almost too much to accept.

"Kid, you don’t believe it?" Lin Zhan couldn’t help but ask upon seeing Lin Kuang’s stunned expression.

"No, no... I believe you. Greetings, Second Uncle," Lin Kuang said hastily.

"Alright, rise," Lin Zhan said with a smile.

In truth, among the three of them, Lin Zhan’s heart ached the most. As the old master’s son, he didn’t even have the right to wear mourning clothes when his father passed away because his identity had to remain a secret.

"Sigh. You both know what’s coming next. The old master didn’t leave us much, so we have to rely on ourselves. If I’m right, the Gao Family will make their move tomorrow," Lin Guodong said, looking at Lin Zhan and Lin Kuang.

Hearing this, Lin Zhan and Lin Kuang nodded in agreement.

"Father, I’ve already contacted the Wang Family. They will form an alliance with us. Wang Yue approached me before, and we’ve already come to an agreement," Lin Kuang spoke up. "Old Master Shen of the Shen Family will also help us, as will the Chu Family. That old fox Chu Zhengpeng will help because I hold evidence that could bring their family down. They have no choice but to stand with us. I’ll head to the Wang Family’s home shortly. This matter hinges on them, as their power is immense."

Lin Guodong and Lin Zhan were slightly taken aback. They truly hadn’t expected Lin Kuang to have contacted the Wang Family behind the scenes. While he wasn’t overly surprised by the Shen Family’s help, the Wang Family’s involvement was a genuine shock.

"Are you certain? What did Wang Yue tell you? Why would the Wang Family help us? What are they after?" Lin Guodong asked.

Kindness is never offered without reason, nor is hatred born without cause. For the Wang Family to take the initiative and offer to help the Lin Family... could they really be that benevolent? This wasn’t normal.

"I don’t know why, but Wang Yue told me their family would spare no effort to help us. They haven’t given a reason yet. I plan to go over today and ask," Lin Kuang explained.

Lin Guodong nodded. "Alright, then you should go. Remember to be careful."

Lin Kuang nodded in response, got into his car, and drove away.

The Lin Family was in a precarious position, with many eyes watching them closely. The moment Lin Kuang drove off, a car immediately started tailing him, keeping him under surveillance.

Lin Kuang sneered internally. These people want to follow me? That’s pure fantasy. He accelerated, weaving through complex roads and alleys with sharp turns until his pursuers were completely shaken off.

He was now very close to the Wang Family’s residence. Finding an inconspicuous spot, Lin Kuang parked the car. After making sure no one was around, he quickly made his way to the Wang estate. He didn’t even use the main gate, instead going to a side entrance and vaulting over the wall.

Once inside, Lin Kuang called Wang Yue and told him his location. In no time at all, Wang Yue appeared in his line of sight.

"Lin Xiong, please come with me. My father and grandfather are waiting for you," Wang Yue said with a smile.

Lin Kuang was a little surprised. The Wang Family was waiting for me? They knew I would come?

"There’s no need to be surprised. With Old Master Lin’s passing and our recent contact, it’s only natural that you would come to us at this time," Wang Yue explained, as if sensing Lin Kuang’s confusion.

Lin Kuang nodded, realizing it did make sense.

"Come, follow me. I’ll take you to them," Wang Yue said with a smile.

Lin Kuang nodded and followed him. They walked to the main house of the courtyard, where Wang Yue pushed the door open, and Lin Kuang followed him inside.

In the room, the old master of the Wang Family was seated on a rosewood chair, sipping tea. Wang Yue’s father, Wang Feifan, stood respectfully to one side. In the old master’s presence, there was no seat for him.

"Greetings, Grandfather Wang, Uncle Wang," Lin Kuang said with a respectful bow.

Old Master Wang chuckled. "Alright, no need for formalities. Come, have a seat."

Lin Kuang was taken aback and quickly shook his head. If even Wang Feifan doesn’t have a seat, how could I dare to sit? Wouldn’t that be overstepping my bounds?

"Grandfather Wang, you do me too great an honor," Lin Kuang said quickly. "With you seated there, I am not worthy to sit at the same level."

"This seat was left for you. Come on, sit down. There’s no need to stand on ceremony with us," the old master insisted.

Lin Kuang continued to shake his head, adamantly refusing to sit. It was partly because he felt he didn’t have the status and partly out of deep respect for Old Master Wang.

Seeing Lin Kuang’s resolute refusal, the old master nodded with silent approval.

"Fine, if you won’t sit, then so be it. Wang Yue, get a chair for Lin Kuang. Let him sit over there," the old master said.

Wang Yue nodded, fetched a rosewood chair from the side, and offered it to Lin Kuang. This time, Lin Kuang did not refuse. Accepting this chair was a different matter entirely from sitting beside the old master himself.

"Feifan, Yue’er, you both sit as well," Old Master Wang said with a smile.

Wang Feifan and Wang Yue nodded, each pulling up a chair and sitting beside Lin Kuang.

"Lin Kuang, I know why you’ve come, and I had Yue’er contact you previously," Old Master Wang said to Lin Kuang, his expression extremely solemn. "The Wang Family keeps its word. In this calamity your family faces, we will assist you with all our might and without reservation!"
