Chapter 761 - 762: Fan Bin’s Decision

After all, Fan Bin didn’t know why Lin Kuang was looking for him. They had no real relationship to speak of; if he had to stretch the definition, their two brief meetings in East Sea might barely count.

"Mr. Fan, long time no see. We last met in East Sea. How have you been?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.

Fan Bin nodded. "I’m fine, thank you. Mr. Lin, surely you didn’t contact me just to ask me that?"

"Of course not. I want to inform you that your Family Head, Fan Wudao, is a member of the Demon Sect. This information has been confirmed by the Wumi Building," Lin Kuang said coolly.

On the other end of the line, Fan Bin was completely shaken, a look of horror filling his eyes. The Family Head, a member of the Demon Sect? How was that possible? It was beyond belief. But Fan Bin was no fool. He didn’t believe Lin Kuang would lie to him at a time like this, especially with such a wild claim. Moreover, the matter had been confirmed by the Wumi Building.

"Is this true?" Fan Bin couldn’t help but ask.

"Of course. I have no reason to lie to you about something like this, especially since it’s been confirmed by the Wumi Building," Lin Kuang replied.

Hearing this, Fan Bin nodded again. "Indeed, you have no reason to lie. So, what do you need me to do?" Fan Bin asked directly. Lin Kuang had gone through Fan Bingbing to find him, so it was obvious he needed his help.

Lin Kuang smiled faintly. "I do need your help with something. I want to take down Fan Wudao. Tonight, wait for my call. I just need you to get a few of my friends inside. That’s all."

"Alright. What time?" Fan Bin asked without hesitation.

"We’ll sort that out tonight. I’ll call you then. Just be ready," Lin Kuang said after a moment’s thought.

"Okay, I’ll wait for your call tonight," Fan Bin replied.

"Fan Bin, thank you," Lin Kuang said.

"Don’t thank me. I’m not doing this for you. Everyone has a duty to eliminate the members of the Demon Sect," Fan Bin stated.

"Good. Let’s leave it at that for now. I’ll contact you tonight," Lin Kuang said with a laugh. Then, the two of them hung up.

After hanging up the phone, Lin Kuang felt a wave of relief.

As long as we can get into the Fan Family’s castle, everything else will be easy. Sneaking in is very dangerous, especially when they have a master of the Five Energies Towards The Origin guarding the place. The perception of an expert like that is incredibly strong. But Fan Bin is extremely familiar with the Fan Family’s internal situation. With him helping, things will definitely go smoothly.

Thinking this, Lin Kuang sat cross-legged on the sofa with a smile and began to rest.

At five in the afternoon, Lin Guo’er came home. Work was over for the day, so she naturally returned.

"You’re back, Guo’er," Lin Kuang said with a smile when he saw her.

"Yes, I’m back. What are you doing just sitting here?" Lin Guo’er asked with a smile, sitting down beside him.

"Nothing much. Just waiting for my wife, Guo’er," Lin Kuang replied with a grin.

Lin Guo’er rolled her eyes at him playfully. "Yeah, right. I don’t believe you. You heartless thing, you actually remembered to wait for me?"

"What? How am I heartless? Haven’t I been good to you?" Lin Kuang said, feigning frustration.

"Have you? I haven’t noticed," Lin Guo’er said, blinking her eyes curiously.

"Girl, are you asking for it? I haven’t disciplined you in a few days. Are you itching for a spanking?" Lin Kuang asked with a sly smile.

"Hey! You’d resort to violence over a little joke? You’re shameless. Have you eaten yet?" Lin Guo’er said huffily, seeing him pretend to raise a hand.

"Ahem, I wasn’t going to hit you. I was just trying to scare you," Lin Kuang said with a laugh. "I haven’t eaten. Have you?"

"Yep. Mengting and I grabbed a bite outside. We just got back," Lin Guo’er said, beaming.

"I see. Well, you should go get some rest. We have to make our move after dark," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"Hmph, you heartless man. Always trying to get rid of me. I’m not talking to you anymore," Lin Guo’er huffed, pretending to get up and leave.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang quickly pulled her into his arms. "Who’s trying to get rid of you? Everyone will be coming up soon to talk about fighting and killing. It’s not something a girl like you should hear. Be good and go rest. I’ll come find you after it’s all over." As he spoke, he planted a firm kiss on her red lips.

Lin Guo’er’s cheeks flushed as she shot him a glance. "Alright, I know. I was just teasing you. Be careful. I’ll be waiting for you at home."

"Don’t worry. I’m going with many elders, so I’ll be fine. Go on, get some rest," Lin Kuang said gently.

Lin Guo’er nodded and turned to leave. Watching her go, Lin Kuang sat on the sofa and waited quietly.

At seven in the evening, Hai Wubian, Pei Chengwu, Pei Chengwen, Pei Yuandong, Yao Feng, Yao Shan, Yao Zhao, Zhantai Jing, and Zhantai Xuan arrived in the main hall.

Once everyone was seated, Lin Kuang smiled and announced, "It’s all arranged. We’ll head over directly. We have an inside man from the Fan Family who will let us into their castle."

Hearing this, Hai Wubian and the others smiled faintly. Having someone to let them in was far better than trying to sneak in themselves.

"Good. Mr. Zhang, please have someone prepare a meal," Hai Wubian said, glancing at Zhang Tianshun. "By the time we finish eating, it should be dark. That’s when we’ll make our move."

Zhang Tianshun nodded and went to instruct the cooks. A little over half an hour later, they began to eat. By the time they finished, it was past eight, and the sky had gradually darkened.

At nine o’clock, the group rose and left. Lin Kuang drove the Rolls-Royce, heading directly for the Fan Family’s stronghold. On the way, he called Fan Bin to let him know they would arrive in about half an hour. Fan Bin acknowledged and told Lin Kuang to use the side gate, not the main entrance, to avoid being discovered. Lin Kuang naturally agreed.

After hanging up, Lin Kuang drove on calmly. Hai Wubian and the others sat with their eyes closed, bracing themselves for the slaughter to come.

Half an hour later, Lin Kuang arrived at the Fan Family’s stronghold, a massive castle. This castle was far larger than the Blood Clan’s Angle Castle, occupying an area roughly ten times its size. Lin Kuang surveyed the castle for a moment before driving to a side gate, just as Fan Bin had instructed. When he pulled up, Fan Bin was already there, waiting with a few of his men.
