Hearing Lin Kuang’s words, Fang Guangwang’s expression turned ugly. He had been unable to dodge the bullets, so in his desperation, he had used John to block the frenzied barrage. Besides, to Fang Guangwang, John’s death was inconsequential. His own survival was all that mattered. That was why he had used John as a shield without a second thought. To him, it meant nothing.

Now, hearing Lin Kuang’s mockery, Fang Guangwang was furious. "The Fan Family’s affairs are none of your business! Kid, drop your gun and come meet your death!" he snarled.

Lin Kuang scoffed. "My business is none of your concern. You want me to drop my gun just because you say so? I’d lose too much face!" With a smirk, he opened fire again.

He was facing three opponents, one of whom was a Three Flowers Gathering at the Top master. Lin Kuang considered himself strong, but he knew a direct fight against all three was a death sentence. With a gun in hand, his best option was to pick them off before the real fight began. As another hail of bullets flew toward them, Fang Guangwang and the two Skyline masters understood Lin Kuang’s plan perfectly. However, they were unarmed and could only dodge helplessly.

Dodging once or twice was manageable, but after the third, fourth, and then fifth volley, they could no longer keep up. Several bullets slammed into the thighs of the two Skyline masters, causing them to stumble as their movements became severely restricted. Seizing the opportunity, Lin Kuang fired again. Two bullets blew their heads apart.

The two Skyline masters died instantly. A Skyline master might be powerful, but a bullet through the brain was just as lethal.

Watching the two Skyline masters fall, Fang Guangwang’s face became incredibly grim, his eyes blazing with killing intent. "Kid, you’re courting death!" His tone was cold, but inside, he was seething with frustration. Trapped by the barrage, he had no way of getting close to Lin Kuang. If he couldn’t get close, he couldn’t harm him. For a master of the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top realm, the situation was utterly humiliating.

Lin Kuang sneered. "I can kill you easily with bullets. Why would I fight you head-on? Besides, you’re a whole Level higher than me. Do you really think I’m stupid enough to do that?"

Fang Guangwang fell silent. He had only been trying to provoke Lin Kuang into a direct confrontation, but his opponent wasn’t taking the bait, leaving him helpless.

"Old man, get ready to die," Lin Kuang sneered. "None of you who came to kill me today are leaving here alive!" The next moment, his gun roared to life again, spitting a wild spray of bullets.

Watching this, Fang Guangwang cursed inwardly, a stray thought even crossing his mind. Maybe I should bring a gun next time.

RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

The gunfire echoed until the magazine ran dry. Fang Guangwang stood unscathed, not a single bullet having found its mark. Lin Kuang was a little frustrated, but he knew it was to be expected. Hitting a master of the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top realm was never going to be easy.

"Ran out of bullets, have you?" Fang Guangwang sneered, an immense sense of relief washing over him. "Now let’s see you escape death!"

"Me, die? In your dreams," Lin Kuang retorted with a sneer. "Come on. Show me just how formidable a master of the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top really is."

"Fine, I’ll grant you your death wish!" Fang Guangwang roared, his figure blurring as he charged toward Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang watched calmly, his body perfectly still, as if he were frozen in fear. A flicker of doubt crossed Fang Guangwang’s eyes, but he dismissed it. In his mind, a disarmed Lin Kuang was already a dead man.

But when they were less than a meter apart, Lin Kuang moved. Two pistols suddenly appeared in his hands!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The roar of gunfire erupted once more, a storm of bullets instantly enveloping Fang Guangwang.

His face fell. A hint of panic flashed in his eyes as he faced the hail of incoming lead. If all those bullets hit him, his death was certain. The realization made Fang Guangwang’s blood run cold with hatred. That little bastard is too cunning! He actually had two more pistols! However, this was no time to dwell on it.

His body blurred as he twisted and dodged, narrowly avoiding the onslaught. But just as he evaded the first volley, another five or six shots rang out. This was the critical moment when his old momentum was spent, and new strength had yet to be gathered. Of course, Lin Kuang had chosen this exact timing. His marksmanship had reached the pinnacle of perfection, making such a feat simple for him.

This time, Fang Guangwang couldn’t dodge. Three bullets slammed into his body.

One struck his chest, another his thigh, and a third tore into his right shoulder.

Fang Guangwang’s expression turned hideous. While the three bullets weren’t fatal, they had a major impact. His speed was drastically reduced, and he could now only summon seventy to eighty percent of his full strength. At the same time, Lin Kuang’s pistols were empty once more.

Lin Kuang still had grenades, but they would be useless against Fang Guangwang. They were far too slow; the master would have more than enough time to get clear.

"It’s a shame I couldn’t finish you off," Lin Kuang said with a smirk, drawing Nameless from his belt. The sharp blade glinted coldly, its tip pointed directly at Fang Guangwang. "But those injuries should be pretty severe. I bet you can’t use your full power now. I’d say a fight between us would be perfectly fair at this point."

Seeing this, Fang Guangwang was inwardly enraged. So now you want a proper fight? Are you trying to take advantage of me?

Despite his anger, Fang Guangwang wasn’t afraid. Although the injuries hampered his abilities, he was still a full Level above Lin Kuang. He was confident it would still be easy to kill him.

"You think this is enough to kill me? Kid, you’re mistaken. Even with severe injuries, I can still cut you down!" Fang Guangwang sneered.

In the next instant, two pitch-black daggers appeared in his hands. They looked ordinary at first glance, but a faint, eerie red light glinted from their surface. These were no ordinary blades.

"Taking advantage of you? Don’t make me laugh," Lin Kuang chuckled, facing Fang Guangwang. "A fight between us is only fair now. As for killing you... I don’t think it will be a problem at all."
