In the pitch-black night, the streets were pathetically empty, and the dim night made it hard to distinguish directions.

Then his gaze shifted to Lin Zifeng.

His voice grew somber: "Death God, I’ve never crossed paths with the Heavenly Gate; I realize my error and hope you won’t hold it against me."

"Oh?" Lin Zifeng raised his eyebrows slightly, shrugged, took a cigarette from his pocket, slowly lit it, and said nothing, creating a suppressive atmosphere that made the Blood Monk feel immense pressure, as if his heart and lungs were being tightly squeezed.

Lin Zifeng didn’t speak immediately, continuing to smoke with narrowed eyes; this scene made Su Ni anxious and the Blood Monk swallow nervously.

The Blood Monk coldly sneered at Su Ni, then turned to leave.
