Damian continued deeper into the [Core Sword Domain], his eyes moving from one weapon domain to another.

After obtaining the [Wind Moon Chakram], his mood had become quite good.

Even if he had not found Cassandra’s sword yet, at least Linsey’s gift was already secured.

Damian walked for a while before his steps suddenly slowed.

Not far ahead, a group of people had gathered around a quiet silver sword domain.

There were five of them.

Surprisingly, not a single woman.

Damian’s expression immediately became disappointed. "Tsk. What a boring group."

Still, since they were gathered around something, there had to be a reason.

Damian walked closer with relaxed steps.

The five cultivators noticed him at once and turned their heads.

Their expressions became wary, but no one attacked.

After all, anyone who could reach this part of the [Core Sword Domain] was not easy to deal with.

Damian raised one hand casually. "Relax. I’m just passing by. What are you all looking at?"

One young man glanced at him and answered carefully, "A sword."

Damian looked past them.

In the center of the silver domain stood a curved blade buried in a black stone platform.

The weapon was elegant and narrow, with the balance of a jian and the slight curve of a saber.

Its surface was silver-black, and thin metal lines flowed along the blade like liquid steel.

Damian’s eyes moved slightly.

"Oh? This shape..."

It looked quite similar to the kind of sword Cassandra liked.

Damian’s interest immediately rose.

He asked, "What grade?"

Another cultivator answered, "Top-Rank Royal Grade."

Damian’s lips curved. "No wonder all of you are standing here like hungry dogs. Still, why don’t you fight each other and take it like normal cultivators?"

The five men’s faces twitched, but no one refuted him.

One of them said coldly, "We are not like those wild cultivators. Also, this sword is Top-Rank Royal Grade. Even if we fight each other, there is no guarantee the winner can take it out."

Damian rubbed his chin. "So you’re all lining up to see who can make it accept you instead of fighting each other?"

The other cultivator nodded. "That’s right. It’s better to take turns testing it rather than fight each other and weaken ourselves."

Damian nodded slowly.

That idea was indeed better than fighting each other.

After all, Top-Rank weapons, especially those inside the Sword Tomb, had pride.

Beating everyone else down did not mean the sword would obediently follow you.

A second later, Damian smiled shamelessly. "Good. Then I’ll join too."

The five men looked at him at the same time.

One of them frowned. "You?"

Damian placed one hand on his chest with complete confidence. "Yes, me. A handsome genius with excellent taste."

The five cultivators stared at him for a moment.

Finally, one of them sighed as if he did not want to waste energy arguing. "Fine. Your turn will come later. You arrived last, so wait at the back."

Damian nodded calmly. "Reasonable."

He walked to the side and waited.

As he looked at the five cultivators more carefully, he realized they were probably all outside candidates.

No wonder they did not recognize the great Damian.

Damian silently clicked his tongue.

"My fame really needs work."

Since there was still time before his turn, Damian simply sat down cross-legged near the edge of the silver domain.

The sword Qi here was abundant.

Very abundant.

It was clean, sharp, and carried a strong metal attribute.

For ordinary cultivators, cultivating too close to a Top-Rank Royal Grade sword domain would be dangerous.

For Damian, however, it was useful.

His special spiritual root moved quietly, pulling in the surrounding sword Qi and refining it into Chaos Qi.

The silver sword domain trembled faintly.

HUMM...

Damian opened one eye and glanced at it. "What? I’m just borrowing a little sword Qi. Don’t be stingy."

The sword domain became colder.

Thin silver lines appeared in the air, floating like silent blades.

Damian immediately raised one hand. "Fine, fine. I’ll be gentle."

The five cultivators nearby looked at him strangely.

One of them muttered, "Is he talking to the sword?"

Another whispered, "Maybe he’s crazy."

Damian heard them clearly but did not bother answering.

He only closed his eyes again and continued cultivating.

---

The next day, Damian was woken by a faint voice. "Hey. Your turn."

Damian slowly opened his eyes.

He had been cultivating near the edge of the silver sword domain for so long that even he had almost forgotten he was waiting in line.

The five outside cultivators stood nearby, their faces pale and tired.

Damian looked at them, then glanced at the silver domain. "You all failed?"

One cultivator sighed heavily. "Yes."

Another rubbed the cut on his arm and cursed under his breath. "That sword is too damn prideful. None of us could even reach the platform."

The third looked at Damian with a complicated expression. "If you still want to try, go ahead."

Damian stood up and stretched his shoulders.

CRACK.

A shameless grin appeared on his face. "I see. Then please open up. It’s finally this handsome genius’s turn."

The five cultivators silently moved aside.

One of them scoffed. "How arrogant."

Another muttered, "Let’s see if the sword cuts that mouth first."

Damian ignored them and walked toward the silver domain.

The moment he approached, the silver lines in the air turned toward him.

SHING!

A thin cut appeared on his sleeve.

Damian looked at the sword buried in the black stone platform.

His system screen appeared instantly.

---

[Weapon Detected]

[Name: Queen Sword]

[Grade: Top-Rank Royal Grade]

[Element: Imperial Metal]

---

Damian’s eyes slowly brightened. "To think this sword’s element is a mutated one... Imperial Metal."

His grin became wider. "This is basically made for Cassandra."

The silver sword hummed coldly.

HUMM...

Damian rubbed his chin, thinking about what to say.

A second later, he smiled shamelessly as an idea came to mind. "Alright, [Queen Sword], listen carefully."

The five outside cultivators froze.

One of them whispered, "Is he really talking to the sword?"

Another looked at him with a strange expression. "Maybe that is his method?"

Damian ignored them completely and continued talking, because for some strange reason, he truly believed this method would work.
