Chapter 251: Damian’s Best Treasure Chest Evolves
Damian returned to Selvara’s mountain peak not long after leaving Linsey and the others.
He adjusted his robe one last time, cleared his throat, and walked forward with the proper expression of a respectful disciple. "Master, I’ve returned."
A calm voice came from inside Selvara’s room. "Come here."
Damian immediately straightened his back. "Yes, Master."
He walked toward the room and pushed open the door. The moment he stepped inside, however, he froze.
Selvara was sitting calmly beside the table, which was something Damian had already expected.
What he had not expected was the elegant woman sitting across from her, Violetta.
Damian blinked in surprise. "Violetta? You’re here?"
Violetta immediately stood and gave him a gentle bow. "Yes, Master. I’ve been here for a while."
A soft smile appeared on her face. "It’s been a long time."
Damian’s expression naturally warmed. "Yeah. It really has been a while, Violetta."
For some reason, seeing his first disciple again made him relax considerably.
Unfortunately, that peaceful feeling lasted for less than a single breath.
Selvara calmly looked at him. "It seems you had quite a good time with that harem of yours."
Damian’s face immediately stiffened.
"Master, why the hell can’t you read the room? Violetta is sitting right there!"
He slowly glanced toward Violetta. Surprisingly, her expression barely changed.
Instead, Violetta lowered her gaze slightly and gave a quiet, understanding smile. "I see."
Damian’s heart skipped. "Violetta, that..."
Violetta gently shook her head. "Don’t worry, Master. I already told you before that I don’t mind."
Damian paused.
Violetta raised her eyes toward him, her expression carrying the same calm sincerity she always showed him.
"As long as I remain your eldest disciple, then I’m still the one most suited to stay beside you and accompany you."
Damian stared at her for several seconds, and his expression slowly softened.
As expected, Violetta really was his best treasure chest. Not only was she beautiful and elegant, but she was also gentle, understanding, and loyal.
She rarely caused him trouble, understood his personality better than most people, and somehow continued accepting his shameless behavior without trying to beat him to death.
"It’s just a pity her multiplier was a little low before..."
Thinking about that, Damian casually opened Violetta’s status sheet.
A moment later, his eyes froze.

---
Damian stared blankly at the status sheet, and his brain stopped working for a moment.
Violetta’s status had changed just like Vulkara’s, except Violetta’s transformation was even more fucking ridiculous.
He remembered that her multiplier had only been 75x before, yet now it had somehow skyrocketed to a fucking 200x.
Coupled with her max favorability, it even became 400x. That alone showed just how absurdly significant her transformation had been.
"Vulkara’s destiny changing was already crazy enough... but Violetta is too damn fucking insane. Just what the fuck happened to her while she was in the Heavenly Palace?"
---
Selvara looked at Violetta for several breaths before letting out a faint sigh. "Violetta."
Violetta immediately turned toward her respectfully. "Yes, Grandmaster?"
Selvara’s voice remained calm, though a rare trace of helplessness could be heard beneath it. "You’re far too kind to your master."
Damian’s expression stiffened slightly.
Violetta blinked. "Am I?"
Selvara glanced sideways at Damian. "You’re allowed to get angry with him too, you know."
Damian immediately felt an invisible pressure settle across his back.
"Master, why the hell are you encouraging my disciple to get angry at me?"
Violetta looked at Damian for a moment before giving a gentle smile. "I’m sorry, Grandmaster, but when it comes to Master... I really can’t get angry with him."
Damian froze.
Violetta’s voice became even softer. "As long as Master still loves me and doesn’t throw me away, I don’t mind."
The room suddenly became quiet.
Even Damian, who normally had a shameless answer ready for almost everything, could not immediately think of what to say.
Selvara stared at Violetta for several breaths before finally releasing another helpless sigh. "Fine, then."
Damian’s gaze toward Violetta softened slightly.
"As expected. Violetta is literally perfect now."
She had already been his perfect treasure chest before, and with her ridiculous new status, she had somehow become even more perfect.
Beautiful, elegant, gentle, loyal, understanding, and now carrying a fucking 400x multiplier on top of everything else.
If Selvara had not been sitting right there, Damian might have spent the next half hour praising Violetta just to see how red he could make her face.
Unfortunately, his master was still very much present.
Selvara calmly placed her teacup on the table. "Enough."
Damian instantly straightened his posture. "Yes, Master."
The faint helplessness in Selvara’s expression disappeared, and her gaze became sharp again. "Do you know why I called both of you here?"
Damian’s expression gradually changed.
He thought for a moment before his brows furrowed. "It’s about Nolan, right?"
Beside him, Violetta’s fingers tightened faintly around the edge of her sleeve.
Selvara gave a small nod. "Yes."
Her voice became noticeably colder. "This time, we’re going to end it."
Damian did not immediately feel relieved. Instead, his brows furrowed even deeper.
Selvara and Violetta still did not know one very important thing. Neither of them knew just how strong Nolan had become.
Damian remained silent for several breaths before finally shaking his head. "Master... it seems we can’t really do it right now."
Selvara’s eyes sharpened immediately. "Why?"
Violetta also turned toward him, confusion appearing in her gentle expression.
Damian slowly exhaled. "Because something happened inside the Sword Tomb."
His usual playful expression disappeared as he looked directly at Selvara. "Nolan is much stronger than you think."
The room became deathly silent.
Selvara placed her teacup down.
Damian’s gaze hardened. "And if we move against him without knowing everything first... we might be the ones walking into his trap."
