Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 278: Damian Should Have Stayed Silent

The next day, Damian stood near the edge of Selvara’s peak, fully prepared to leave.

Everything he needed had already been packed inside his storage ring.

Honestly, there wasn’t much left to prepare.

With enough spirit stones, pills, talismans, weapons, treasures, and the ridiculous rewards constantly thrown at him by his system, Damian could probably survive almost anywhere.

At least, as long as he didn’t do something fucking stupid like publicly walking up to Nolan and punching him in the face.

Damian paused.

Knowing himself, that possibility was probably higher than it should have been.

Of course, there was another concern.

His mind immediately flashed back to a certain elegant woman smiling beautifully while talking about dissecting him.

Damian shuddered.

"Nope. Don’t fucking think about that woman."

Just as Damian was preparing to leave, two familiar auras suddenly approached from behind him.

He turned around.

Selvara and Violetta were walking toward him.

Selvara carried her usual cold and composed expression, while Violetta looked gentle as always, although the reluctance hidden in her eyes was impossible to miss.

Selvara stopped several steps away. "Remember our promise."

Damian immediately straightened his posture. "Of course, Master."

Selvara’s eyes sharpened. "Cultivate."

Damian nodded seriously. "Yes."

Her gaze became even heavier. "Survive."

Damian’s playful expression softened slightly. "Yes, Master."

Selvara stared at him for several breaths before finally giving a small nod.

Violetta quietly stepped forward. "Master..."

Damian turned toward her.

For a moment, Violetta looked as though there were countless things she wanted to tell him.

Her lips moved slightly, yet no words immediately came out.

Eventually, she simply gave him a soft smile. "Be safe."

Damian’s expression softened. "You too."

He paused before continuing more gently, "Train properly once you return to the Heavenly Palace."

His gaze became serious. "Don’t rush anything, and don’t force yourself just because you want to catch up with Nolan."

Violetta understood the concern hidden beneath those words.

She lowered her head slightly. "I won’t."

Damian nodded in satisfaction.

Selvara gave him one final look. "Go."

Damian smiled. "See you later, Master."

He glanced toward Violetta as well. "And you too."

With that, Damian turned around and finally left Selvara’s peak.

Not long afterward, Selvara also departed with Violetta, heading toward the Heavenly Palace as they had planned.

Damian watched them disappear into the distance for only a few moments before continuing on his own way.

He still had one more place to visit before properly leaving the sect.

His harem’s courtyard.

When Damian arrived, Linsey was the first to notice him.

Her eyes immediately lit up. "Oh?"

She leaned casually against the doorway. "Our handsome young master finally remembered where we live?"

Damian’s mouth twitched.

Helena crossed her arms and looked him over suspiciously. "What trouble did you bring this time?"

Cynthia gave him a gentle smile. "Judging by his expression... probably something troublesome."

Evelyn quietly studied Damian for several seconds.

Unlike the others, she wasted no time teasing him. "Explain."

Damian stared at all four women. "Can you at least pretend you’re happy to see me first?"

Linsey immediately spread her arms dramatically. "Welcome back."

Damian blinked.

Linsey pointed at him. "Now explain."

Damian sighed heavily. "You women are fucking heartless."

Helena snorted. "Stop wasting time."

Damian scratched the back of his head before finally getting to the point.

He explained everything.

His plan to temporarily leave the Heavenly Sword Sect.

The fake story that his cultivation foundation had been badly damaged.

His intention to disappear from the righteous side for a while.

Nolan’s recent actions.

And most importantly, Damian’s plan to secretly establish contact with the demonic side.

By the time he finished explaining, the courtyard had become completely silent.

Several breaths passed.

Linsey was the first to react as the corner of her mouth slowly lifted. "Sounds fun."

Helena immediately frowned. "Sounds dangerous as hell."

Cynthia’s gentle expression became more thoughtful. "Dangerous, yes."

Her eyes sharpened faintly. "But potentially very useful."

Evelyn remained silent for another moment before giving a short nod. "We go."

Damian blinked. "That fast?"

Linsey stepped closer, her expression turning teasing. "What?"

She tilted her head. "Did you seriously think we’d let you disappear into demonic territory surrounded by demonic women all by yourself?"

Damian immediately coughed. "That is absolutely not the reason I’m going."

Helena gave him a flat look. "Liar."

Damian placed one hand over his chest. "Why does nobody trust me anymore?"

Cynthia softly laughed. "Besides, we were already starting to get bored here."

Cassandra glanced away. "Training alone is dull."

Damian looked between the four women.

Linsey seemed excited.

Helena looked annoyed but clearly had no intention of staying behind.

Cynthia appeared curious about what opportunities the trip might bring.

Evelyn had already mentally decided she was going before Damian even finished speaking.

Slowly, Damian’s grin returned. "Alright, ladies."

He spread his arms dramatically. "Pack whatever you need."

Damian turned toward the courtyard exit. "It’s time for us to go enjoy some so-called mundane life."

Helena suddenly raised one hand. "Wait."

Damian stopped near the courtyard exit and glanced back. "What?"

Helena frowned. "You keep saying we’re going to contact the demonic side, but where exactly are we going?"

Cynthia nodded thoughtfully. "She has a point."

Her eyes shifted toward Damian. "None of us knows much about the demonic factions outside the sect."

Evelyn folded her arms, her expression cold as usual. "Going there blindly would be stupid."

Linsey tilted her head. "Please tell me our brilliant young master actually has a destination."

Damian stared at the four women for a moment before his lips slowly curled upward. "Don’t worry."

He tapped his chest confidently. "I already told you, didn’t I? I have connections."

Helena immediately looked suspicious. "What kind of connections?"

Damian’s grin became increasingly shameless. "That’s a surprise."

Evelyn’s eyes turned colder. "Damian."

"Hehehe... relax," Damian chuckled, waving one hand.

He also then changed the topic. "Actually, now that I think about it... this trip might be even better than expected."

Linsey raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Damian placed one hand beneath his chin, looking far too pleased with himself. "Well..."

His eyes gleamed mischievously. "It seems this time we might even get to add a new member to our little harem group."

Silence.

Helena’s face immediately darkened.

Evelyn’s gaze became freezing.

Cynthia sighed helplessly.

Linsey cracked her knuckles.

Damian’s smile stiffened.

"...Maybe I should’ve kept that part to myself."
