Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 277: Damian Plans His Disappearance

Damian immediately straightened his back before Selvara could change her mind and slap him through the nearest wall. "Alright."

He placed both hands on the table. "Tomorrow, I’ll move out."

Violetta’s eyes widened. "Tomorrow?"

Selvara’s expression instantly turned cold again. "Move out where?"

Damian quickly raised both hands. "Calm down first. I don’t mean I’m going to blindly run around outside and hope for the best."

Selvara gave him a look that clearly said he had better fucking explain himself.

Damian turned toward her. "Master, you’ll send Violetta back to the Heavenly Palace."

Violetta’s lips parted slightly.

Damian continued before she could object. "That bastard Nolan probably won’t come here immediately."

Selvara’s gaze sharpened.

Damian tapped one finger against the table. "He should already know I survived the Sword Tomb, probably through one of his people."

His expression became more serious. "And if he knows I survived, then he should also assume I told you about how he tried to kill me."

Damian gave a dry laugh. "So that obsessive simp probably won’t be stupid enough to rush straight onto your peak while you’re already pissed at him."

Selvara remained silent.

Damian continued, "That doesn’t mean he’ll stay away forever, though."

His eyes became colder. "Sooner or later, that bastard will come here and try to fuck with me again."

Selvara’s fingers moved faintly against the table.

Damian pointed toward himself. "That’s why you’ll tell everyone I suffered critical injuries."

Violetta’s expression shifted.

Damian continued, "Say that I was heavily wounded inside the Sword Tomb."

He paused briefly. "And because I nearly died and damaged my cultivation foundation, I decided to step away from cultivation for a while."

Selvara frowned. "Step away?"

Damian nodded seriously. "I’ll go somewhere quiet and enjoy mundane life."

His mouth curled faintly. "At least... that’s the story everyone else will hear."

The room fell silent.

Selvara understood almost immediately. "You don’t plan to return to the Heavenly Sword Sect."

Violetta’s face changed. "Master..."

Damian sighed. "Not for now."

He leaned back slightly. "If I start contacting the demonic side and still casually return here every few days like nothing happened, Nolan and Arven will eventually notice."

His expression became more calculating. "It’s better if Damian, Selvara’s critically injured disciple, simply disappears from the cultivation world for a while."

Both women frowned at him.

Damian immediately gave them a reassuring smile. "Don’t worry."

He waved one hand. "I won’t be going alone. I’ll have some friends with me."

Selvara stared at him. "Your harem?"

Damian immediately choked.

"COUGH! COUGH!"

He slapped his chest twice and stared at her in disbelief. "Master! Why the hell did you say that so directly?!"

Selvara’s expression remained completely flat.

Damian awkwardly scratched his cheek. "Well..."

His gaze drifted away. "Yes. Them too."

Beside him, Violetta’s gentle smile visibly stiffened.

Damian immediately sensed danger.

"Oh, fuck."

He hurriedly continued, "They’re strong now."

His hands moved quickly as though presenting evidence for his own defense. "All of them have already reached the Golden Core Realm."

Damian nodded firmly. "They’re not helpless women standing around waiting for me to protect them. If something happens, they can actually fight."

Selvara’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Still reckless."

Damian spread his hands. "Everything involving Nolan is fucking reckless."

Selvara could not immediately argue with that.

Violetta remained unusually quiet.

Her gaze had lowered toward the table, while her fingers lightly pinched the edge of her sleeve.

It was subtle.

Very subtle.

Unfortunately for her, Damian had become extremely experienced at detecting this particular kind of danger.

"Jealous."

Damian’s heart immediately jumped so he directly turned toward her. "Violetta."

She slowly looked up.

Damian’s expression softened. "Don’t worry."

Violetta quietly watched him.

Damian leaned slightly closer and lowered his voice. "Once all this bullshit is over, we can properly spend time together again."

Violetta blinked.

Damian moved closer to her ear and shamelessly whispered, "One whole week straight."

Violetta froze.

A faint pink color immediately spread across her cheeks.

Her fingers stopped gripping her sleeve.

The tiny trace of jealousy in her eyes vanished almost instantly, replaced by a soft, beautiful smile.

Damian quietly leaned back, satisfied.

"Crisis fucking avoided."

Selvara’s eyes moved between Damian and Violetta.

Her brow slowly furrowed.

She was not stupid.

Judging from Violetta’s reaction and Damian’s shameless whispering, it seemed the two of them had already crossed that particular boundary.

Selvara’s expression became strange for a brief moment.

She had never cared much about romance in the first place, and she certainly had no intention of digging into the private affairs of two grown cultivators.

More importantly, Damian was still her disciple, while Violetta was still her grand-disciple.

As long as neither of these two idiots allowed their relationship to interfere with cultivation, she could tolerate it.

Selvara gave Damian a cold look. "Whatever you two are doing is your own business."

Damian blinked.

Violetta’s cheeks became slightly redder.

Selvara continued flatly, "Just don’t forget to cultivate."

Damian immediately nodded with complete seriousness. "Of course, Master."

Selvara clearly did not trust that answer, but soon her attention returned to the actual problem.

Damian’s plan was reckless.

Far too reckless for her liking.

Sending Violetta back to the Heavenly Palace while Damian disappeared from the sect and secretly contacted the demonic side could easily go wrong in countless ways.

Yet the more Selvara thought about it, the less she could find a better alternative.

If she personally moved against Nolan, Arven would interfere.

If she remained passive, Nolan would eventually act again.

Damian’s disappearance would at least remove one obvious target while giving them time to prepare.

Selvara remained silent for several breaths before releasing a quiet breath. "Fine."

Damian immediately straightened.

Selvara looked directly at him. "I’ll do what you said."

Damian’s face brightened. "Seriously?"

Selvara raised one finger. "However."

His happiness instantly disappeared.

Selvara’s gaze became dangerously sharp. "Remember this, Damian."

She pointed one finger toward him. "If you use this so-called mundane life as an excuse to slack off..."

Damian swallowed. "And when you return, your cultivation realm hasn’t increased..."

A terrifying sword pressure quietly filled the room.

Selvara’s voice became colder. "I swear I’ll personally lock you on this peak and train you until you start begging Nolan to come kill you."

Damian’s face went pale.

Violetta covered her lips, barely hiding her amusement.

Damian slowly nodded. "Understood, Master."

"Fuck... somehow Nolan suddenly sounds less terrifying."
