Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 267: Damian Wants His Own King Weapon

Damian walked away from Violetta’s room, leaving her alone to properly study her newly obtained [Heaven Burial Requiem Pipa].

Even with Violetta’s ridiculous talent, she still needed time to understand the weapon, get used to its reborn spirit, and learn how to control its power without accidentally turning half of Selvara’s mountain into some giant fucking funeral hall.

Damian rubbed his chin as he walked along the corridor, but a moment later, he suddenly froze. "Wait a damn minute..."

His expression slowly stiffened as a realization struck him. "I’ve gifted so many fucking things lately... so why the hell don’t I have a single King Grade weapon for myself?"

He stood there for several seconds, genuinely offended by the realization.

Thinking about it more carefully, however, the reason quickly became obvious.

The four women from his harem had received their weapons through [Intimate Sacrifice Reward], which meant those gifts had generated rewards directly for them instead of producing a normal gifting return for Damian.

Violetta was the same.

Her [Heaven Burial Requiem Pipa] had also been generated through [Intimate Sacrifice Reward].

That already accounted for five powerful weapons without Damian receiving a single weapon in return.

As for Vulkara and Selvara... Damian’s expression became even more annoyed.

He had gifted Vulkara the [Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer], yet the rewards he received were mainly talents, cultivation arts, and comprehension-related benefits.

Selvara had received [Silver Abyss Execution Sword], now Executioner, and her return reward had once again given Damian powerful talents rather than another weapon.

Damian’s mouth twitched violently. "Goddammit."

He stared at his storage ring as though it had personally betrayed him.

"I’ve handed out King Grade weapons like fucking candy, yet I’m still using Top-Rank Royal Grade weapons myself?"

The unfairness suddenly felt very real. "I want a King Grade weapon too, for God’s sake."

Damian sighed heavily.

Unfortunately, wanting one and magically obtaining one were two completely different things.

He still possessed several Top-Rank Royal Grade weapons, so he was hardly defenseless.

More importantly, the only person he truly needed to watch out for right now was Nolan.

Damian eventually shook his head. "Fine."

He reluctantly accepted reality. "For now, Top-Rank Royal Grade should be enough."

His eyes became slightly colder. "As long as I don’t stupidly try to directly clash weapons with that bastard’s [Sunfall King Sword], I should be alright."

With that settled, Damian continued walking until he reached the mountain path.

He stopped again and looked around. "Now... where the hell should I go?"

His first thought was naturally Vulkara. However, Damian immediately shook his head.

Vulkara should currently be busy training with Tyrant and learning how to properly use the [Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer].

Disturbing her now would probably accomplish nothing except getting yelled at by both Vulkara and that arrogant hammer spirit.

Damian also briefly considered visiting his four harem members.

That idea disappeared almost immediately.

Their recent [Intimate Sacrifice Reward] had already consumed the corresponding weekly gifting opportunity.

Going there again right now would not provide much benefit from the system.

Damian rubbed his forehead. "Damn. Everyone’s either training or already squeezed dry for rewards."

He sighed once more. "Alright, then. Let’s go to the sect market and restock my gift ammunition."

Not long afterward, Damian arrived at the Heavenly Sword Sect’s market district.

With his current wealth, he no longer bothered pretending to be some poor disciple carefully calculating every spirit stone.

He went directly toward several reputable shops and began clearing out items he had little use for.

Damian sold several Top-Rank Noble Grade treasures and miscellaneous items he had previously received through system returns.

In exchange, a large pile of spirit stones entered his storage ring, and naturally, those spirit stones did not remain there for long.

Damian immediately started buying anything that could serve as a suitable gift.

He even deliberately chose items covering different attributes and professions.

He had no idea what kind of multiplier target he might encounter next, so preparing broadly was simply smarter.

By the time Damian finally finished shopping, his storage ring was noticeably fuller.

He checked everything one final time before nodding in satisfaction. "Good."

A pleased expression appeared on his face. "Now I’m fucking loaded with ammunition again."

Damian left the market while mentally going through the women he already knew.

"Who haven’t I visited in a while...?"

Several names appeared in his mind, but eventually, one stood out, mostly because she was the closest: Mirabel.

She was the librarian from the Scripture Hall whom he had met when he brought his harem there to choose their Golden Core cultivation arts. "It’s been a while since I last saw her. I might as well pay her a visit."

Her multiplier was only around 50x, which was not particularly impressive compared to Violetta’s monstrous 400x or some of the other women Damian had encountered recently.

Normally, that alone might have made him place her lower on his priority list.

Yet there was one detail Damian had never completely forgotten.

He had once bought Sevlar’s hidden letter from Mirabel, so his eyes immediately sharpened at the thought of her.

"A normal Scripture Hall librarian somehow possessing Master’s hidden letter... That alone proves she’s probably not as simple as she looks."

A familiar curiosity gleamed in Damian’s eyes as he made his way toward the Scripture Hall. "Alright, Mirabel... let’s see what you’ve been hiding."

---

Meanwhile, inside the Scripture Hall, Mirabel was quietly sorting through several ancient manuals when her fingers suddenly stopped.

Her eyes shifted toward the entrance as something suddenly clicked in her mind. "Hmm... It seems that boy is coming."

Mirabel tapped one finger against the book in her hand. For a moment, she considered disappearing somewhere deeper inside the hall.

"Should I avoid him...?"

She thought about it for several breaths before casually closing the manual. "Eh. Forget it."

Mirabel rose from her seat and stretched lazily. "I’m actually curious."

Her eyes carried a strange hint of amusement. "Just what kind of boy managed to make Selvara pay so much attention to him..."

She paused. "And even Mirena seems strangely interested."

Mirabel walked toward the front desk and settled comfortably into her seat, a faint smile soon appearing on her face. "Alright, Damian... let’s see what makes you so special."
