Chapter 203: Damian Borrows a Door Panel
Damian looked up as the dark-green sword light fell toward him like a guillotine.
His expression did not change.
Instead, he laughed.
Chaos Qi wrapped around his right fist, and the faint pressure of the [Chaos Dragon Physique] surged beneath his skin.
A second later, Damian punched upward.
BOOM!
The dark-green sword light shattered directly.
Broken sword Qi scattered across the gray ground, slicing thin marks into the nearby stones.
The two masked disciples froze.
One of them stared at Damian’s fist in disbelief. "How the hell are you this strong?"
The other tightened his grip around his sword. "Aren’t you supposed to be a sword cultivator? Why are you fighting with your fists?"
Damian lowered his hand and shook the remaining Qi from his knuckles.
He gave them a lazy look. "Because you guys are too weak for me to use my sword moves."
The air went silent for half a breath.
The first masked disciple’s face twisted behind his mask. "Damn you."
The second disciple’s killing intent surged. "You really think you’re untouchable?"
Damian shrugged. "Not untouchable. Just harder to touch than you two idiots expected."
The two masked disciples no longer held back.
Both of them reached toward their backs and drew out the swords they had obtained from the [Inner Sword Region].
SHING!
Two sharp sword lights flashed through the mist.
Damian’s eyes moved slightly.
The swords in their hands were clearly different from ordinary weapons.
One was long and narrow, with green patterns flowing along the blade. The other was heavier, darker, and carried a fierce cutting aura.
Damian whistled softly. "Wow. You two already got swords from here?"
He sensed their auras carefully, then his eyes brightened. "High-Rank Noble Grade. Not bad."
The first masked disciple laughed coldly. "You understand now?"
The second raised his sword, his voice filled with confidence. "These swords accepted us. With them, your death is certain."
Damian stared at them for a moment.
Then he suddenly raised one hand. "Wait a minute."
The two masked disciples frowned.
"What?"
Damian ignored them and walked a few steps to the side.
Not far away, a huge sword was buried deep in the ground.
Its blade was wide, thick, and dark like old iron. Cracks covered its surface, but its aura was heavy and violent.
Damian’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"Also High-Rank Noble Grade."
The huge sword suddenly trembled, as if warning him not to come closer.
HUMM!
Damian walked up to it anyway and grabbed the hilt.
The giant sword erupted with angry sword Qi.
CLANG!
A heavy pressure smashed toward Damian’s arm, trying to force him away.
Damian’s laugh became more mocking. "Don’t be shy. I’m just borrowing you for a while."
Chaos Qi poured into the sword like a tyrannical flood.
The giant sword resisted fiercely.
Damian’s hand tightened.
CRACK!
The ground around the blade split apart.
"Obey."
His voice dropped, and the pressure from his [Chaos Dragon Physique] slammed down.
The giant sword shook violently for several breaths before its angry sword Qi was forcefully suppressed.
BOOM!
Damian pulled it out of the ground in one motion.
Dust exploded around him.
He rested the huge sword on his shoulder and turned back toward the two masked disciples.
Their eyes were filled with shock.
Damian looked at their swords, then at his own huge blade, and clicked his tongue. "You two brought knives to show off, so I borrowed a door panel to bully you back."
The first masked disciple’s breathing became heavier. "You forced that sword to submit?"
Damian tilted his head. "Forced? That sounds ugly."
The huge sword trembled unhappily on his shoulder.
Damian patted the flat of the blade. "Fine, fine. Slightly persuaded."
The second masked disciple’s face darkened. "Impossible. Swords from the [Inner Sword Region] cannot be taken by brute force alone."
Damian raised his brow. "Really? Then maybe your swords are just too polite."
He pointed the giant sword at them.
Its heavy sword Qi pressed down, making the gray mist sink slightly.
Damian’s Chaos Qi crawled across the giant blade like dark lightning. "Alright."
His voice became playful and dangerous. "Now let’s compare our swords."
---
The two masked disciples attacked at the same time.
One sword was fast and tricky, green sword shadows splitting apart like poisonous snakes.
[Green Shadow Severing Sword]
The other sword was heavy and violent, dark sword Qi pressing down like a falling mountain.
[Black Mountain Splitter]
SWISH!
BOOM!
Two sword arts crashed toward Damian from both sides.
Damian stood in the middle, holding the huge sword on his shoulder.
His robe fluttered wildly, but his eyes stayed calm.
"Not bad," he said lazily. "At least you two finally look like proper sword cultivators."
The first masked disciple roared, "Die!"
The second shouted, "Let’s see if you can still act arrogant!"
Damian sighed. "Still too much talking."
His fingers tightened around the huge sword hilt.
Chaos Qi poured into the blade, and the heavy sword trembled as if it had woken from a long sleep.
Damian raised it with both hands.
His aura changed.
The ground beneath his feet cracked.
"Since you want to compare sword arts..."
His eyes became sharp. "Then watch carefully."
The huge sword came down.
[Breaking Mountain]
BOOOOOOM!
The gray mist exploded.
A massive sword shadow descended like a collapsing cliff, crushing the green sword snakes and dark mountain Qi at the same time.
The two masked disciples’ eyes widened in horror. "What kind of power is this?!"
Their swords screamed.
CLANG!
CRACK!
Both Noble Grade swords were smashed aside.
The huge sword shadow continued forward and slammed into their bodies.
BANG!
The two men flew backward like broken sacks, blood spraying from beneath their masks.
They crashed into the ground and rolled several times before stopping.
Their auras collapsed.
Damian rested the huge sword on his shoulder again and clicked his tongue.
"Low-Rank Noble Grade sword art only, and you still lost this badly?"
He walked toward them with a disappointed look. "You two really are weak."
The first masked disciple struggled to push himself up, but his arms trembled so badly that he fell back down.
The second masked disciple coughed out another mouthful of blood.
His mask had cracked, revealing half of a pale, frightened face underneath.
Damian dragged the huge sword across the ground as he approached them.
SCRRRAAAAPE!
Sparks scattered from the gray stones.
The sound made the two masked disciples’ bodies stiffen.
Damian stopped in front of them and looked down with cold amusement. "Now, let’s stop wasting time. Who sent you?"
