(The first was "Destruction By Hunting", it was a fast moving boss monster which could then spawn its suicidal bomb monsters which would HUNT you.)

(The second boss was "Destruction By Slashing", his gimmick was unleashing shit tons of slashes from all sorts of directions.)

(The third boss was "Destruction By Impalement", and that fucker had an freaking ability to impale with his defense piercing attacks.)

(But what about the "Duel"?) – thought Maparapara as the lava creature lifted up its sword and pointed it at Maparapara, alarming the slime woman as she got ready to fight.

[Destruction By Duel has declared you as their target.]

[You will receive extra 100% damage dealt by the hands of Destruction By Duel.]

"...Wut?" – said Maparapara as the lava creature began running straight at her at alarming speed, while the slime woman was still caught off guard by the system message.

"!" – Maparapara managed to get herself together and instantly tried unleashing long range attack, but the creature was faster as it’s covered its blade in red flames, before then swinging it, unleashing a massive slash of fire, which Maparapara countered with her shields, blocking the strike...But not expecting it to straight up blow up right after making the contact, which caught the woman off guard.

The slime was covered in a smoke caused by the explosion, robbing the woman of her vision and giving the lava monster a chance to rush in.

However, despise losing her vision in smoke, Maparapara obviously didn’t just waited for the enemy to strike.

She smashed both of her shields into the ground, causing several spectral shields to emerge from the ground and attack everything around her, which included the lava monster as they smashed into him.

The lava creature realized the danger and tried to back away, but the rampaging walls ended up blasting away smoke around the slime girl, retuning vision to Maparapara.

"[Cruel Shield: Defensive Offence]!" – and then instantly, she thrusted forward her massive spiked shield, smashing the entire body of the lava monster and then sending it flying.

The lava creature flew... But it managed to stab the ground with its blade in order to somewhat stop itself from being send further away.

"..."

"Okay?" – said Maparapara as she stared at the metallic floor which was ripped open by the blade.

(Yeah... I think that blade is somewhat sharp.) – thought Maparapara as the creature once again rushed at her.

"[Shield Art: Shield Beam]!" – Maparapara fired off energy from her shield, firing off a copy of her shield at the enemy as projectile... However, the enemy easily dodged the projectile and quickly closed up the distance.

"[Bastion Will: Gate Blast]." – however, that was a fake out, as Maparapara fired off another blast from her shield.

This time a one with much shorter range.

But it made it up with its extremely wide area of effect that ended up leaving no opening for the lava monster to dodge.

Maparapara went for the fallow up attack-

"!?" – but out of nowhere, the creature’s whole body began glowing, alarming the slime as she unleashed her [Bison Art: Hammer Head], smashing the lava creature away and sending it flying.

Or so the slime girl planned, as the creature instantly exploded the moment she hit him.

"!?"

(HE FUCKING SELF DESTRUCTED?!) – thought Maparapara as she was blasted by explosion, resulting in her taking noticeable amount of damage... But at the same time not noticing that there were flames gathering right behind her, which then took the shape of the lava creature.

"!"

"[Whole Shield]!" – Maparapara noticed in last second the creature as she used her [Master Shield Wielder]’s skill, [Shield Art: Whole Shield], covering her entire body in a barrier.

And that was the correct decision, as the lava creature swung its burning blade and slashed the slime girl across her back, which ended up shattering the barrier.

"!?"

(HE ONE SHOTED IT?!) – thought alarmed Maparapara as she swung around her massive shield, but the creature quickly leaped backwards, dodging the attack.

"..."

(Fuck. This isn’t good.) – thought Maparapara.

(The [Whole Shield] applies barriers that reflects my max defense.)

(And yet, that guy one fucking shooted that barrier?!)

(His base attack must be quiet high... And there is also that 100% increase in damage against me.)

(Oh... This ain’t good... This ain’t good at all.)

(If one of his direct attacks could deal that amount of damage... Then fuck me.)

(I think this guy was designed to fuck over anybody who tries to do this trial solo?!)

(WHY?!) – thought Maparapara as she resumed her fight with the Destruction By Duel.

[Meanwhile: Outside]

"..."

(Still not taking the bait?) – thought annoyed Phantasia as he already dug quiet amount of distance into the underground inside of the cave he was staying at.

(Honestly, I even increased the security outside somewhat to make it look like I’ve hit the goal.)

(...The trap that I’ve set up outside of the temple wasn’t triggered... That means they didn’t discovered it.)

(Weird.)

(Was I overthinking it about being stalked?)

"!?" – however, while Phantasia was focused on mining, something was happening outside, as Phantasia could hear a sound of explosion and fighting erupting.

"..."

(THERE THEY ARE!) – thought Phantasia as he instantly stopped mining and ran out of the cave.

And as soon as he did it, he saw how chains were flying around, smashing and piercing his undeads as well as elementals he had left on the guard duty.

"Huh... So, you decided to show up?" – asked Phantasia as he saw a man flying in the air.

"Apple."

"..."

Apple without saying any word unleashed his chains at Phantasia, wrapping his arm as he raised it to block the attack.

However, Apple was planning on it as he tried swinging around Phantasia.

"!?" – But Phantasia was able to resist it.

(The hell?) – thought confused Phantasia as he was dragged somewhat.

(I thought he was a pure mage?)

(Is his strength stat high? Or does those chains have some kind of effect?) – thought Phantasia as he was being dragged further away.

"[Dark Magic: Black Sphere]!" – while having his chains wrapped around Phantasia’s limb, Apple unleashed a sphere of pure darkness at Phantasia, blowing him up.

"!?"

(Wait, why didn’t he defended himself?!) – thought confused and alarmed Apple as he retracted his chains and got ready to unleash his ultimate attack.

But instead of attacking, he quickly backed away by stabbing a nearby small hill with his chains and dragging himself away as Phantasia was growing more and more... Before moments later taking on his true monster form.

(Oh shit! He really ain’t planning on messing around!) – thought Apple as Phantasia became a giant.

"..."

"Defend the entrance." – said Phantasia as he gave command to all of his monsters to back away and defend the entrance of the cave.

"!"

(He is really aiming to protect it all cost!) – thought Apple as he unleashed his chains, striking Phantasia across his entire body.

"..."

"You done?" – asked Phantasia as he wasn’t amused or even moved as he got struck by the chains, which he didn’t even tried to block.

"My turn. [Gorilla Fist: Gorilla Punch]! " – said Phantasia as he lifted up his massive arm and then quickly jumped towards Apple as he swung his arm, which ended up destroying the small hill instantly.

(JEZUS!) – thought Apple as he used [Blink] to get away as he saw the pure destruction.

(I know he is still fast despise being a giant, but isn’t that too broken?!) – thought Apple as Phantasia swung around his fist, forcing Apple to pull himself away with his chains to dodge the attack.

However, as he dodged one attack, he saw another coming, this time from one of his two dragon heads, which unleashed the blast breath attack.

"..."

"Huh. Nice reaction." – said Phantasia as he spotted in the air Apple who used [Master Blink] to get away just in last second.

(Fuck! He isn’t really holding back at all.) - thought alarmed Apple.

(If he catches me, then even teleportation may not be good enough to let me escape.)

(I need to keep my distance!) – thought Apple as he unleashed a barrage of chains and darkness magic at the monster of flesh and metal, which tried to devour the mage.

And while the fight between the two divinity users continued, a duo of players were observing the fight from nearby.

"Fuck me... He really is a freaking monster, just as everybody said... And how is he moving so fast with this body?." – said the player in protective equipment that somewhat resembled knight armor.

"Keep it down. If that guy notices us, then it is over." – whispered S.M as he was using a skill to hide himself and the other player.

"The entrance is heavily guarded... I could try using shadows, but I doubt it will work if there is too many monsters inside."

"We will have to break our way in."

"You ready Modur?"

"...Yeah." – said the knight player named Modur.

"Let’s go."
