The full-on brawl between two sides continued.

The HP from both side was dropping non stop as the fight continued.

Sometimes one side started dominating the other, but sometimes that the table was instantly turned around by a well-timed counter.

The massive slime continued her rampage with shields, breaking apart the area as she chased around the warrior.

As for the lava being, he jumped around and when the perfect moment shown itself, he quickly replaced his weapons and unleashed weapon skill, aiming to slow down or stop even for a moment stop Maparapara and allow the warrior to take on his second stage.

However, each time he tried to create opening with his weapon skill, the slime just charged straight at the warrior, not carrying if she would end up suffering at all from critical damage with her mad charge.

As long as she kept the warrior away from having any chance at transformation, she didn’t cared at all how much damage she would take.

(DAMMIT! THIS ISN’T GOOD!) – thought the warrior as he swung around two-handed hammer, blocking and attacking the slime who was putting non stop pressure on the warrior.

(I’m running out of weapons to use!)

Death By The Warrior.

This lava creature who is the final challenge that Maparapara needs to faces only possess two type of abilities.

His first ability is an ability to change his weapons into any weapons that he have in his arsenal.

Be it bow, polearm, sword or axe.

And as for his second ability? It is a skill.

[Lava Weapon]

This skill causes the weapon to awaken, allowing the warrior to unleash special ability that each of his weapons possess.

ALL of his weapons have special ability he can awaken in them. Some are similar, while some are extremely unique.

Not only that, the amount of weapons he has in his possession isn’t small, which is a massive problem since every single one of the skills that weapons are strong.

Be it dagger or great sword.

All of the skills he uses have their powerful uses.

However, there is a side effect.

Weapon exhaustion.

The moment he unleashes the weapon skill, his weapons would enter the exhaustion state, causing them to be no longer able to unleash their skill and not only that, the moment he switches out the exhausted weapon for the new one, he can no longer use the exhausted weapon all together.

Meaning, that each time he unleashes his powerful and unique skills, he end up losing access to them for the rest of the battle.

This part is what the challenger Maparapara had figured out.

But the warrior wasn’t done, as he had another card up his sleeve.

A second form.

Maparapara is fully aware that she is already having extremely hard time with the first stage, but if the enemy has a second stage that is just even little bit stronger, than this is an instant game over the moment the warrior obtain the necessary time to transform.

However, the warrior isn’t only aiming to run away and transform in order to win this fight.

No.

He was running out of desperation, since the number of his weapons he has still left is slowly reaching his limit.

The slime obviously didn’t knew that warrior was about to hit his limit... However.

(Huh?) – the slime noticed as she fought that the warrior had was now changing his weapon way less often as well as unleashing his skills, resulting in the slime’s barrage being slowly more and more effective.

(Is he running out of ammo?!) – and as the fight continued, the slime realized the grim truth for the warrior.

SHE KNEW THAT ENEMY WAS ABOUT TO RUN OUT OF WEAPONS!

She knew that she was about to win! SHE KNEW THAT SHE WAS ABOUT TO SLAY HER FOE!

...

But she didn’t let the excitement and sense of triumph disturb her.

No.

The fact that the enemy still had a single card in their hand, a card that they could use to possible to flip the table upside down was straight up terrifying the slime.

One screw up.

That is all it takes to end the battle.

If she makes even a single screw up, the battle is good as lost.

That is why, despise fighting like some kind of beast or berserk on the rampage, she was fighting with her head too out of pure desperation.

"[Defensive Offence]!"

"[Lava Weapon: Whip]!"

The warrior sacrifices his used-up hammer in order to create a whip, using it to strike the ground and instantly pull himself away towards the struck zone, dodging the massive shield and creating somewhat alarming amount of distance.

But the slime out of reflex and desperation unleashed a barrage poison skills.

They didn’t really dealt any damage to the being who was made out of lava and poison.

However, some of the skills that the slime threw out were able to restrict the movement of the warrior, allowing the slime to move close enough and restart her rampage, not allowing the warrior to obtain the time he needed to transform.

(FUCK!) – thought warrior as he tried using the whip to slow down the slime, but she grabbed the weapon, locking in place with her shield that slammed on top it, before then slamming the warrior right in the face with spiked shield.

"[Lava Weapon: Dagger]!" – the warrior destroyed his whip as he realized he couldn’t recover it and ended up turning his weapon into a dagger which he slashed the incoming fallow up shield attack with, dealing some damage to the slime, but not much in the first place as the weapon main ability was to deal extra damage to the vital spots.

Still, the dagger did bough the warrior a moment to breath.

(I have only 3 weapons left!) – thought nervous warrior as the slime didn’t stopped her rampage.

(I know that the good chunk of the weapon skills I’ve had unleashed were either blocked or countered! BUT YOU GOT HIT SO MANY TIMES WITH SO MANY POWERFUL BLOWS!)

"HOW THE HELL ARE YOU STILL STANDING?!" – shouted the warrior as he leaped backwards, dodging another shield strike.

"!?" – however, the warrior instantly realized his error, as the slime was leading the man right towards the wall, having the warrior back straight up against the wall.

(Oh no.) – thought warrior as he got smashed with a shield head on once again and one more time in a row, before then getting ready to unleash a third attack.

"[LAVA WEAPON: RIFLE]!" – the warrior transformed his knife into a rifle, before then firing it at the slime, unleashing an explosive bullet that swallowed the slime.

"..." – but the slime already knew how much time it gets for the warrior to be able to unleash his skill, resulting in the slime instantly unleashing her defense and blocking just as the trigger was pulled, resulting in the slime taking minimal damage.

[Weapons Left: 2]

The rifle didn’t pushed back the slime or gave the time for the warrior to quickly relocate from his position.

Not only that, the rifle wasn’t fit for blocking the attacks.

Meaning that the warrior have to change his weapons now, before the slime resumed her barrage.

"[Lava Weapon: Gauntlets]!" – the warrior transformed his weapon into a pair of gauntlets, which ended up unleashing their skills, making them grow at least 4 time in size.

The slime once again raised her defense just as the pair of fists came her way and smashed into the shields, which resulted in the slime blocking the second lava weapon skill in the row.

"!?" – but even when blocking, she still took somewhat high damage, causing her HP to start reaching the critical point.

"CAN YOU DIE ALREADY?!" – shouted Maparapara as she swung her shields at the warrior who once again wasn’t given time to get away and was forced to use his gauntlets to grab the shields and stop them in tracks.

(YOU GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!) – thought both warrior and Maparapra.

(HOW IS HE/SHE STILL NOT DEAD?!)

Both fighters had barely any HP left.

However, for the warrior? His situation was far more dire.

He had only a SINGLE weapon skill left.

And if he uses it and not manages to either slay the slime or create opening for himself to transform... Then the results would be obvious.

(BUT HOW DO I DO THIS?!) – thought warrior as the two sides tried to push each other.

(I can feel her strength being no longer at its peak! She must had exhausted her power up abilities and what not! She is also not using those hidden cannons too!)

(I could maybe push her back! But what then?!)

(My last weapon is glaive!)

(If she survives this strike, then it is over!)

(...But she definitely is the brink of death!)

(So... There is only one way I can finish her off!)

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA!" – the warrior mustered all of the strength he had left, managing to push back the massive shields and the slime all together.

(CORE! IF I HIT IT! I WIN!) – thought warrior as he destroyed his gauntlets.

"[LAVA WEAPON: GLAIVE]!" – the warrior took out his final weapon, creating a long polearm with long blade.

However, the slime already put up her defense just as the glaive activated.

There was no way for the strike to strike the core from the front.

...

Well, that would be without the glaive special ability.

The moment the glaive activated, the warrior instantly disappeared.

The glaive special ability was teleportation strike.

The warrior teleported right behind the slime who did not noticed in time that the warrior was behind her.

And in the exact moment, the warrior swung his weapon horizontally, slashing the slime across her entire back.

"DIE YOU MONSTER!"
