The warrior rushed in and clashed his two blades against the spiked shields.

The slime tried counter attacking, but the warrior leaped over the spiked walls before then counter attacking with his two blades.

(Is it me or is he faster?!) – thought Maparapara as she noticed that the warrior had speed up, not only in terms agility but also in terms reaction time, as the lava creature was dodging far more attacks than before.

And even when the attack has landed, even when devasting strike that straight up bended the part of the metallic area around the warrior... It was not enough.

No matter how hard Maparapara hit the warrior, he never stopped attacking.

One may think he went freaking berserk, but he didn’t.

His strikes had clear aim.

He observed Maparapara and dodged as well countered her own attacks.

"[Blood Craftsmanship: Bloody Hedgehog]!" – Maparapara unleashed a rampaging spikes from across her body, trying to launch her counter attack.

"?!" – but to surprise to the slime girl, the warrior realized that the attack was coming and leaped away, resulting in the spikes of blood hitting him, but not impaling him at all.

(Oh common!) – thought annoyed slime.

"[Lava Weapon: Spear And Hammer]!" – the warrior destroyed both of his weapons and then equipped two brand new ones, a spear as well as one handed hammer, which then instantly activated.

The warrior threw his spear right at Maparapara, forcing the slime to defend herself against it with her shield.

"!?" – but, the spear passed right through the shield, straight up phasing right through it... As well as phasing right through the slime’s body as it flew away.

(IT COMPLETELY BY PASSED MY DEFENCE?!) – thought Maparapara as the strike just now was not only unblockable, but it also took annoying chunk of her HP pool away.

However, the slime wasn’t given a moment to rest as the warrior still had the hammer in his hand, which he swung down, unleashing a massive shockwave.

Maparapara raised up her defense, fully knowing she cannot dodge the massive AOE attack... But there was a problem.

[You have been {Stunned}.]

That attack main purpose wasn’t to deal damage, but to stun Maparapara, allowing the warrior to rush while the spear he had thrown away had teleported back the warrior.

The warrior aimed to land a combo attack with her two weapons.

"[Shield Art: Revenge Shield]!" – however, to the surprise of the warrior, the slime was able to move and unleash one of her strongest counter as she unleashed devasting blast at point blank range, dealing a critical damage to the warrior.

"!?"

(SHE CAN MOVE?!) – thought the warrior as he was lifted off the ground by the blast.

"[Cruel Shield: Clap Smash]!" – the warrior was smashed between the two shields, dealing critical damage and inflicting {stun} to warrior.

"[Bison Art: Overwhelming Charge]!" – and right after, the slime unleashed a short-range power charge, crushing the warrior’s whole body with her entire being and sending the warrior flying.

The warrior bounced off the ground over and over, before managing to stop himself by stabbing the ground with his spear.

But the slime wasn’t letting the warrior recover as she rushed in and attacked with her shields, landing blow after blow while the warrior tried to recover.

(Wasn’t expecting that!? DID YOU!?) – thought Maparapara as she was unleashing skills left and right whenever the warrior was about to recover.

(My offensive defensive classes have one thing in common! Reduction of the CC directions! The artifacts I’m also wearing have similar effect!)

(So if you aim to stun me! Don’t use fucking massive AOE stuns with weak ass effect like that!) – thought Maparapara as the warrior swung his hammer clashing with the shield, countering the attack that the slime has launched.

But the warrior didn’t noticed in time the shield above him, which then smashed right on top, crushing his entire body.

"[LAVA WEAPON: HALBERD]!" - the warrior destroyed his weapons and reformed them into halberd, which he unleashed, creating a storm like effect that attacked everything around the warrior.

The warrior attempted to stop the slime in tracks for moment... But.

She wasn’t letting it happened, as not only she blocked the attack, but even went into the storm like attack and used her [Blood Blade: Blood Slash], unleashing a blood type attack with her shield that stuck the warrior.

"...Tch." – the attack connected, but the warrior managed to quickly leap away afterwords as well as stand on his two feet.

(He recovered. Annoying.) – thought Maparapara as the two sides stopped in tracks once again, wary of other side making their move.

(Though... He used another weapon.)

(Two handed weapons and one-handed weapons.)

(It seems he can equip himself with two handed weapon as well as one handed weapon at the same time.)

(But also, he can wield in each hand the two-handed weapon.) – thought Maparapara as she remembered the warrior wielding the two-handed halberd and two-handed great shield.

(But... Why did he destroyed both his weapons just now?)

(He wielded two handed spear just now alongside one-handed axe.)

(Does he suffer some kind of penalty while having two handed weapon equipped alongside other equipped?)

(...Maybe that is it. But still, the fact that he can use two handed weapons alongside other weapons seems annoying.)

(But that guy revealed one of his cards.)

(I guess his weapon equipment skill has either long ass cooldown for each weapon, or he can only use each one only once in battle.)

(Hm... This is problematic.) – thought warrior.

(I thought she wouldn’t be able to move after receiving that strike, and yet, she was able to resist it and even bait me into coming closer.)

(And I thought that strike would hit her core too... But it didn’t.)

(I can’t even tell where the hell that core is because of all that armor that is covering her.)

(Is it in the chest? Or maybe in the head?)

[However, they do have organ.]

(Considering how tough she is, I doubt destroying the slime core maybe enough to kill her... However, it will give her both a mortal wound and make it way harder to use her own body.) – thought warrior as he and Maparapara started walking in circle, aiming to hunt each other’s openings.

(...Honestly aiming for the core seems like the best decision, considering how tough she is.)

(But this is a trap.)

(True. Core maybe her weakness, but it is in reality worst possible tactic.) – warrior understood that aiming for the one and only main organ of the slime was the worst possible decision, as not only the warrior could end up being countered easily, but could possibly trap the warrior.

"..."

Maparapara made her move as she rushed in while unleashing her blood magic, trying to harass the enemy as she closed up the distance.

However, the warrior wasn’t having it, as he was straight up running away from the slime, creating more distance that she could close.

"!?"

"HEY! COME BACK HERE!" – shouted Maparapara as she was giving chase after the warrior, but he wasn’t letting himself get stopped as he was making more and more distance.

(SHIT! I don’t like this! He already used crossbow and bow!) – thought alarmed Maparapara.

(Gun?! Does he have a gun next?! But I now know that he has range weapons! He ain’t some dumbass not realize that it won’t-)

"!"

(SPECIAL SKILL! HE HAS SOMETHING THAT CAN CHANGE THE CURRENT SITUATION!) – thought Maparapara as she realized the enemy plan, but it was too late as the warrior made enough distance.

"[Lava Weapon: Cannon]!" – shouted the warrior as he destroyed his polearm.

"?"

(Wait. Did he said – HOLY SHIT?!) – thought Maparapara as to her surprise what appeared wasn’t a gun or a rifle as she was expecting, but a freaking massive cannon.

And in the next moment, the massive cannon opened up its cracks, making the weapon grow bigger once again.

(FUCK THIS!) – thought alarmed Maparapara as she started spawning layers and layers of protective skills, even using her [Bastion Knight]’s ultimate skill, [Royal Walls] and [Master Shield User]’s utlimates skill, [Final Defense].

The massive cannon fired, unleashing a blast of fire that instantly covered up entire area around that was generated as the recoil.

As for the projectile shot? It was pure energy.

The poisonous lava blast instantly covered up a good chunk of the area while flying towards the slime and her several layer of defensive walls that she put down.

Upon impact, a massive explosion happened that swallowed up a good large part of the area, completely covering it in the purple smoke while the warrior himself stood by, not running in and instead keeping his guard.

"..."

"Goddammit." – said the warrior as the smoke started clearing up and he saw the slime girl still standing.

"What sort of freaking monster are you?"
