Chapter 691 - 690: The First Rule of Chasing Your Wife (34)
"Achoo!"
Bella Acker was reciting her lines when she suddenly sneezed without warning.
Who is talking about her?
Mr. Sinclair’s grandfather squinted and thought, oh, his granddaughter-in-law is just perfect. Even the way she sneezes is prettier than others.
No, he needs to go back and watch her TV dramas and movies again.
It’s a pity she isn’t the main character and doesn’t have many scenes. How about starting a film company for her and hiring a bunch of scriptwriters and directors just to make shows for her?
No way, no way, I’m supposed to be pretending to be a pitiful old man right now. I can’t reveal my identity.
The old man immediately dismissed his thoughts.
He can’t step in right now, but Damian should be able to, right? Hmm, he’ll call Damian later and ask him to get a dozen leading roles for Young Acker.
If any entertainment company doesn’t agree, just buy them out.
The old man felt proud of his own thoughts and unknowingly fell asleep.
Back at the company, Damian Sinclair was holding the phone that had just been hung up and was deep in thought.
The old man praised Bella as a good girl, so does that mean he doesn’t oppose him pursuing her anymore? Why did he follow Bella’s car today? To assess her character?
Hopefully, he doesn’t inadvertently cause any trouble.
Damian Sinclair rubbed his temples and sighed with some helplessness.
The office door knocked, and Damian Sinclair put down the phone, saying in a deep voice, "Come in."
Special Assistant Lawson entered respectfully, "President Sinclair, Mr. Hayes is here and waiting for you in the meeting room."
"Is the contract ready?" Damian Sinclair put the phone in his pocket, stood up while asking, and walked out.
"Everything is prepared. The legal representative and shareholder are both Ms. Acker," Special Assistant Lawson replied formally, following him out.
"Good." Damian Sinclair nodded, "Go get the contract for me."
"Yes." Special Assistant Lawson immediately went to his office, got the prepared contract, and said, "President Sinclair, all the contracts and documents are here."
"Alright, you go continue your work. No need to follow me." Damian Sinclair took the folder and headed to the meeting room.
"Yes." Special Assistant Lawson stepped aside and didn’t follow.
As they watched Damian Sinclair head to the meeting room, the secretarial team poked their heads out from their cubicles.
"Pfft! Pfft! Special Assistant Lawson, is the BOSS really going to start a company for Ms. Acker?"
"Focus on your work, less gossiping," Special Assistant Lawson said sternly.
"Ah, I also wish my boyfriend could start a company for me without me even knowing," Secretary A said, cupping her face, "The romance of rich people is just wonderful."
"Our BOSS is just like a real-life domineering CEO falling in love with me," Secretary C swooned, "Ah! A man like that, give me a dozen please."
"I don’t know if you can get a dozen men like that, but I can definitely give you work," Special Assistant Lawson chuckled mischievously, "Anyone who doesn’t want to work overtime today better sit down and focus, or if President Sinclair finds out you guys are gossiping, you’ll be in trouble."
The secretarial team obediently sat back down and continued working in silence.
Damian Sinclair walked into the meeting room, where Aiden Hayes was already waiting.
Perhaps due to their mutual understanding, or perhaps because both were very confident in their abilities, neither brought an assistant or secretary.
"Mr. Sinclair, if we weren’t rivals in love, we might have become good friends."
