Chapter 692 - 691: The First Rule of Pursuing a Wife (35)
Aiden Hayes stood up, smiling charmingly as he extended his hand to Damian Sinclair.
Damian Sinclair glanced at him indifferently and did not shake his hand, instead walking directly to the other side of the conference table to sit down, saying, "We were never rivals in love."
"Mr. Sinclair, are you finally planning to give up on Bella?" Aiden Hayes raised an eyebrow.
"You’re overthinking." Damian Sinclair briefly lifted his eyelids to look at him, saying, "You’re not qualified to be my rival in love." From start to finish, there was only one man who was his rival. That man was Archer Quinn.
It’s not that Archer Quinn was better than Aiden Hayes, but because Aiden Hayes was a playboy, while Archer Quinn had genuine feelings and had been taking care of Bella Acker all these years.
"I’m not qualified? Why?" Aiden Hayes reflected for the first time on whether returning to the country was the right decision.
Why did he keep hitting walls everywhere since he returned?
"Because you don’t like her enough." Damian Sinclair said expressionlessly, "I’m not interested in discussing her with you. The contract has already been drafted, take a look." Saying that, he pushed the contract over.
"What is liking anyway? As long as I find her pleasing to the eye, right?" Aiden Hayes shrugged nonchalantly and picked up the contract to start reading it seriously. When he saw the shareholders listed below, he was stunned, "You gave it all to Bella?"
"You just need to look at the content of the contract. If there’s anything inappropriate, we can discuss it." Damian Sinclair refused to answer his question.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, this seems a bit more generous than giving away a car." Aiden Hayes continued reading the contract, the listed content and legal responsibilities were all agreed upon yesterday, nothing else, "Huh, you agreed to give me an additional 0.0001% of the dividends?"
Damian Sinclair raised an eyebrow at him, "Didn’t you like Bella? You still want to take this little bit of money from her?"
Aiden Hayes was left speechless by his retort.
"Alright, since Bella holds the shares, not only will I give up that 0.0001% of the dividends, but I have no problem giving up even more shares." Aiden Hayes said generously.
"Why would I give you the chance to show off in front of my woman?" Damian Sinclair glanced at him coldly, "If you think there’s no problem with the contract, just sign it."
"I didn’t bring a pen." Aiden Hayes spread his hands quite innocently.
Coming specifically to sign a contract yet not bringing a pen, such a thing could only be achieved by Young Master Hayes.
Damian Sinclair reached into the contract bag and handed over a pen.
Aiden Hayes picked it up and scribbled his name, saying, "This contract requires a personal signature. When do you plan to have Bella sign it?"
"I don’t plan to let her know about this." Damian Sinclair said, "As for how to get her to sign the contract, you don’t need to worry, Mr. Hayes."
"You’re still not planning to tell Bella?" Aiden Hayes found it a bit amazing, "Mr. Sinclair, have you always pursued Bella so secretly?"
"Actions speak louder than words." Damian Sinclair said as he put away the contract, "Mr. Hayes, I’m investing, you run the company. As for the location of the company in Creston, if you need help, you can call me, and I’ll send my assistant over."
"Underestimating people, huh? These trivial matters can be settled in no time." Aiden Hayes said, "You just invest and wait to receive the dividends. No, it’s Bella who receives the dividends. Speaking of which, should I transfer the dividends to Bella’s account or yours?"
