We Live in Dragon’s Peak

Dragon Peak Adventurer

The suspension bridge, which collapsed due to various circumstances, ended up being rebuilt behind schedule due to various disturbances, which are still incomplete. Perhaps restoration work will start again this summer or so.

That's why when I normally go down, I end up in a deep gorge.

I knew there were no suspension bridges before I left, so I chose a detour from the beginning to proceed. Return to the valley and schedule an itinerary to cross another bridge.

Unfortunately, you can't stop at the Chicken Dragon's Nest by choosing the way to go. That's near the suspension bridge, so the road's different.

Down the mountains, climbing the valley, over the mountains. Little by little, down Dragon Peak. Then, the snow, which was deep at first, gradually diminished as well, slightly more green. He plays snow and is desperately trying to bring spring in with buds cheerfully on his face.

I took every step of the way to avoid losing the hard mountain path, too.

That's about four days down Dragon Peak.

I rarely met people in the back of the woods.

"Are you all right?

It was the adventurers who looked exhausted and tired that I spoke to.

Male foursome adventurer. A brunette man with a thick, attack-oriented long sword. Little, red-haired boy. Long, intelligent atmosphere for a good man. And a bearded man with a strong face who's in good physical shape.

"Are you... dragon people?

That's just what the long-time honored man asked me, and I immediately recognized that they were human adventurers.

If these people are Dragon Nation, they can identify the race by just looking at me and Ares.

"No, you don't. I'm a human being too."

Give my name a look of surprise to the four of you.

I can't help it. I guess it's hard to believe that people are traveling alone in this dangerous Dragon Peak. But they showed signs that I was saved in an atmosphere that didn't matter if I was human or dragon.

That should be it, too.

One of the four, a little boy, was nodding around holding his leg, and it was the wind that the other three were worried about surrounding him to see how things were going.

And all four look exhausted and in trouble.

They are definitely human adventurers. And I guess the fact that you're acting around here at this time of year is pretty awesome.

In the Wang capital, Mr. Sefina is at the forefront, stopping the reckless adventurers trying to enter Dragon Peak. Still, I know that there are people who missee their own power and try to slip through the eyes of surveillance and step into Dragon Peak.

But those people who lack the strength will mostly feed on warcraft in the first woods.

But through the forest, which is the first difficulty, these men, who were able to cross the village where the caravans gathered, and enter the back of Dragon Peak, are adventurers with solid strength and vast knowledge and experience of adventure.

That's how they look tired of holding the wounded. Even though you named me a human race, it's evidence that you were stuffed with cuts that made your face shine that you were saved, right?

"Is he hurt?

Even so, boy, you're definitely older than me. He had a small but solid muscle and a look that made him wonder if he'd gone beyond the many adventures he'd ever had.

I may be on guard, and I approach cautiously. But he didn't act like a rejection, so he approached the nogging little boy and saw how his legs were holding him back.

Her ankle was plump and clear, and she was bright red.

In a painful way, he decides that he won't be able to walk.

"The demon attacked me. I fell down the other step and twisted it."

He gave me an explanation even though the bearded person hadn't heard it.

"I don't think we have a fracture. However, if you can't move like this..."

Whatever they were going to say, it was fully understandable as a traveler on the same Dragon Peak.

Sunset is approaching. As it is at night, it is time for the Warcraft.

I guess they want to leave this place in a hurry. And I want to secure a safe camp.

But this boring look.

I'm sure the battle with the demons was quite intense. At the moment, three other men besides the grunting boy were wounded if they looked closely.

Wounded, exhausted, they were on their way here.

He's a little boy, so someone can't even walk on his back. But walking with each person behind his back can be a difficult task, even if it is small in the midst of rugged nature. Not to mention, they're hurting and their health is coming to a limit.

It may be a merciless, terrible thought, but one thought should have come to mind in them.

Should we abandon the boy who is wounded and unable to move and leave this place?

Sometimes I am forced to make brutal choices in an adventure that has risked my life or death. Do you put everyone at risk for one?

If you decide that your feet are clumped, or that your sacrifice is no less, then those who are left are forced to make a bitter choice.

And they may also still have had an eye for extraordinary reality and been forced to make intolerable choices.

Maybe that's why they all got tired of it and saw a hint of hope for me when I showed up.

"You've come from across the woods, haven't you? Was there anywhere around here that seemed safe?

There was nowhere on the road they had traveled that was safe, was there? And I was wondering if there might be a village or a safe place on the road I came from.

Anyway, I'm with Ares, the young girl.

You don't usually go away with little kids, do you? Besides, of all the dangerous dragon peaks. Then you're also mistaken.

"I'm sorry. We were on foot looking for a campsite, too."

"So you're not walking or picking mountain vegetables..."

"Yes, I'm on my way down Dragon Peak to Wang Du"

"Are you or a little girl from the people? Doesn't anyone have dragon tribes like guardians?

"Unfortunately, it's just us."

From the adventurers who had found a desire for me, I lost my temper.

If you call me Dragon King right now, it won't lead to their vitality, will it? I don't know if they know anything about a dragon king in the first place, and a boy like me is okay, what a confident slap on the chest feels like water on a burning stone.

The power of words is unlikely to be of much use to them with despair looming in front of them.

"Come on."

"Hey what...!?

In this place, act rather than waste time exchanging words. Even if it's slightly forceful, if it helps, take a big look, right?

So I held the boy as a princess without question.

... because I carry luggage on my back. This is the only way.

Four of the adventurers are surprised that I, who seem weak, slightly hugged a boy with firm muscles, albeit small.

"Gentlemen, let's just try a little harder. There must be a safe camp."

I say, I see Ares without even taking confirmation of the adventurer.

"Over here, over here"

Ares drew my intentions, pointing to the back of the woods and going down the road without a path. I follow Ares. [M]

"Nah."

Three people rush to follow the sound of Neemia over my head.

"Are you all right?

"Isn't it heavy?

"What's over here?"

Three people from behind spoke anxiously, but I was focused in front of them.

When Ares walks in the woods, she naturally avoids disturbing bushes and branches. It's easy for me to walk with that favor, too, but they don't have the mercy for the three of us behind them.

The branch that passed me returned to its original position, and the path of the bush quickly disappeared.

That's why I was walking with the three exhausted back men taming the road so that it was easy to walk, just a little bit of branching and walking.

Of course it's all, in dragon art.

With a small dragon air blade, drop the disturbing branches. There is a slight breeze around me that rips the bushes apart.

The three behind me were following me with anxious words and deeds, but only the boy who was to see my dragon technique up close was looking around.

"Cut it off."

As I follow Ares, complaints come in from trees and grass around me.

Then please make sure the people behind you get through safely too. And when I shrugged in my heart, I didn't like to worry about people, what can I say, but it was still my favor, and finally the three of them behind me had their natural mercy.

The three behind him began to breathe rough after just a short walk and fell while the speed of walking was seen.

You really were the limit.

There are also steep slopes in the woods, large rocks and muddy spots. Just going the distance between the eye and the tip of the nose causes the feet to become painful and fatigue accumulates.

Four of the adventurers went into Dragon Peak and walked so hard. There he was attacked by demons, wounded and utterly desperate.

That's where I showed up. [M]

Don't stick your neck in the commotion, they say, except for people's help, right?

"Nah."

Speaking of which, they haven't noticed who Niemia is yet. You can't even afford to turn your attention around, can you?

But I don't want you to make a futile noise with your identity exposed.

Niemia, I'm sorry, but you've been hiding in your luggage for a little while. Niemia, who read my mind, honestly dived into my luggage on my back.

Well, I wonder how far you walk.

We follow Ares, who walks silently, deep into the woods.

Then, before sundown, he reached a cave hidden in the bush.

"Gentlemen, let's camp here this evening."

As he drew the bushes, a small entrance peeked into his face. Try carefully to explore the signs behind the cave, but there are no suspicious signs.

Well, Ares led me, and you're absolutely safe, aren't you?

Finally we reached a place where we could rest and the four of us leaked a deep sigh of relief.

Because the entrance is narrow, it is decided to enter the cave in turn. Let's start with me with the wounded.

Beyond the bushes covering the entrance, it changed from a ground of rotten soil to a hard scaffold of rock formations.

And then something came in and a sigh of admiration leaked.

"Wow, this is..."

It was just a cave near the entrance though.

Behind the thin, brilliant starry skies were spreading.

Yeah, no.

There's no way there's a starry sky in the cave.

Colouring the walls of the dark cave was the brilliance of the multi-colored crystal stone.

The boy held by me breathes and stares into the back of the cave. The three of them who came from behind were also fascinated by the brilliance of the crystal stone, forgetting their tiredness and the pain of their wounds.

"I didn't know there was a treasure ball mine here."

The bearded man gives a voice of joy.

A treasure ball mine? I don't know, but this isn't the time to ask back.

I drop the boy in the right place. [M]

"Thanks"

"No, you're welcome"

The three men, who had managed to walk on their own, were peering into the crystal stone behind the cave, as if they had forgotten what an injured boy was.

Oh, man, I can't believe the treasure gushes in front of me, it's cash.

I have no idea what crystal stones are worth, but they may have found value in a number of adventures. But I guess I shouldn't give priority to myself and my people first.

The boy was with me and didn't seem to know the value of the crystal stone, and was grinning bitterly as the other three floated.

You've come to a calm place, but you don't feel like the boy's swollen ankles are painful, treasure.

The boy took some herbal leaves out of his luggage and rubbed them off, so I decided to get ready for camp.

The three of them will probably be sitting around exhausted right now, even if they're floating, and I'm the only one here to move.

"I will take branches that may be used for incineration and snow that cools swelling"

and told the boy that me and Ares got out of the cave once.
