Welcome to Japan, Mr. Elf.
Episode 23: It's French, Mr. Elf.
When you get off the taxi around the deep river, a calm French shop is right in front of you. There are a lot of people going through the small sprinkled doors for dinner, and the couple stands out more than the family.
A four-man table was waiting for me ahead of time when I was led by the clerk. The clerk pulls one chair and Tetsu gestures to Marie to sit down.
You must have wondered at such table manners when you looked up at me with some light purple eyes.
"Please sit down. My guest today is Marie."
"Ugh, yeah, in such a fine store... it makes me kind of nervous"
The elf shows only a little nervousness and quietly lowers his back as I pull my hand. Although she is a beautiful girl like a fairy, the clerk strives to guide her professionally without breaking her expression.
Elf sounds beautiful somewhere.
The shopkeepers give a luscious look at the girl's adorability and the sound of the elf language. Western-style buildings have turned into fantastic places.
When we get to our seats, the guests are finally released and the bright bickering resumes. The brunette, Kaoruko, blushed somewhere and touched Toru's arm sitting next to her.
"Hey, it'll be nice. It's like looking at a picture book. Aren't you going to forget that this is Japan?
"Oh, it's true. If this was a dream, I wouldn't be surprised."
I don't think you exaggerate...
Even I, who have been with them forever, feel the same way over and over again. This conversation won't have to be interpreted into Marie.
Now, when I hear French, I worry about the price, but as far as the menu goes, it's the amount I can make. I barely eat out in the sense of saving money.
They noticed that kind of mood because they were staring at the menu. Sitting in the front, he looks at me with pleasure and laughs.
"Ha, don't worry, I'll let you out today"
"Oh, no, I'm sorry."
"No, no, because my wife forced me to call it in. Let me do this."
I don't think it was forced or anything, but I did feel it was an aggressive invitation.
Although Kaoruko in a calm outfit, he messes with his fingers like he had trouble with the necklace on his clavicle.
"Just now, don't work all day overtime with an awesome sword screen..."
"Already, Toru... Huh! If it's just a neighborhood thing. Koho, both of you, I recommend the Foie Gras menu here."
Kaoruko gives me that advice while blushing a little bit.
The girl looking up at this one says, "Foie gras?" He has a small neck, but he won't have a chance to eat it in his dream world.
"It's a very tasty bird. Probably surprised to hear a voice."
"You, what do you think I am? If it was in public, not in a room, I wouldn't say anything. And it's just a bird, isn't it?
I've missed my face and made such a declaration... I don't know. Although there is one elf I don't trust, I decided that it was time for the two of us to choose the menu as recommended.
The waiter then arranges forks and spoons, and the girl rounds her eyes in that neat manner.
"... eating, right? Why are you arranging forks and all that stuff first?
"The menu changes the type of knife or fork you need. I'm starting to use it in order from the outside."
"Oh, I don't know what that means. It doesn't mean they're nobles, does it?
"It's a dish I'm learning about that nobleman. Well, I don't know much about French either. It's mostly a country made of chopsticks."
The store also has an interior that leads somewhere into the fantasy world, and the girl, who is an elf, looks around with interest. I think it's a store that smells rustic but just a little fancy.
Well, all the dishes that come are brightly colored.
Cold appetizers, warm appetizers, fish dishes and one after the other to bring the girl round her eyes.
"Hey, hey, the colors are so beautiful even though it's cooking. It's like a painting, but this is what you eat, right?
"Of course. It's a small amount, but it comes out in order."
She tastes rustic against her looks when she takes a bite, and the girl who was nervous somewhere soothes her mouth. If it was Terrine who enjoyed watching, chewing and savoring the season, the steak foie gras of beef fillet that came late would be the best mountain range.
I've never dined shoulder to shoulder, but I'm glad you look up to me for every bite you take. So what would she look like if she mouthed this lead?
"Wow..., the smell is already... I'll eat, won't I?
Foie gras is put on a fearful fork and into her brightly colored lips.
Moguri, the chewing stops at once, and says, "~ ~ ~ ~!" Leaks a voice that doesn't sound like a voice. Mogu, Mogu, and slowly chewed, and let the girl look up with her light purple eyes.
"Huh, huh...!
Whoa, whoa, look sloppy. I wonder where the usual intelligent Marie went.
When she finally swallowed it, she pulled my arm and put her lips close to her ear. And I said, "Wow, this is a treat. That's not true," he told me as he stayed.
How can you smile when you eat something delicious?
After another bite, the elf's face melts even more, exhaling hotter.
If it's true, it would have enough impact to kick the ground dang. Instead of doing something about it, he put his head on my shoulder and slipped it around.
"Yummy......, mmm! I don't know. Maybe right now, if you were the only one I'd be laughing."
"Oh, you would have loved to hear that....... yeah, yummy"
Soft foie gras melt in the mouth and mix with beef filet meat for depth in flavor. The more you chew, the more complex the flavor turns into, and when you swallow it, you can say bliss.
"Horrible, the Japanese are horrible... Why are you researching the flavor so far..."
"No, this is a dish that was conceived by overseas people. The West had a stronger culture of nobility."
I explained, etc., but it doesn't seem to be in my ear for Elf, whose head is in a flower garden state. From her shoulder to shoulder, a breath of furrowing, and a higher body temperature than usual, comes through.
Nevertheless, I think Japan is noisy about flavor. Dining places are lined up all over town, and most of them make you feel worth more than the price.
"I don't know if it's a lie or a truth, but there's an anecdote. It's Japan, which is said to be too grown up and even too cautious, but I've only been angry once."
"Alas, speaking of which, you heard you lost to a big country. Then I don't think you can have a big attitude... but how did you get angry?
"When I was forced to import material that was physically harmful from a big country."
She curls her eyes and laughs joyfully, "That sounds like a story." I know it's more of a joke than an anecdote, but if you invited her to laugh, would you mind?
"The truth is, the wine fits, but Marie can only get it out because she looks like a minor,"
"Please stop. If I taste the wine now, I'm sure I'll laugh. So, this French thing is already a treat, right?
The girl looks up in the wind that she can't stand any more.
Those eyes are moisturizing and I'm sure the limits are close by now. Curiosity is inspired by that expression, and I whisper, "Yeah, you're done in two," etc.
"Ugh! Ugh......! Oh, my God. Now you won't be able to eat anything in the other world!
An elf with such a sad face was somewhat funny. For some reason, I felt like I could see something good.
When I realized all along, the couple sitting in the front looked round at us and watched how we were doing.
They are dyeing their cheeks just a little to the girl holding them in her arms and still smiling happily ever after.
"Really relatives, what is it? You say we're very close..."
"You guys are dating, aren't you? Whoa, I work for the bureau, so don't reply."
I almost spit out the water.
Hey, I might have lost my mind because of how Marie was doing.
"Chi, no. She's not used to delicious meals, she's a little over the top."
Funny, except for the point of relatives, I'm not lying, and besides, it's still about the extent to which I held hands.
For that, the heart keeps pounding and it's hard to quell.
Hmm, while I breathe, the rest of the dessert and tea comes.
I threatened her earlier, but this one helps to soothe her mouth, not something intense. Thanks to this, we managed to get the two of us breathing together.
Well, Kaoruko still wants to get along with Marie, and she's turned to her dear as a doll. Apparently, the girl is trying to stay calm with the recoil earlier.
"Mariabelle also practises Japanese. I was surprised just now in good Japanese."
"Aligato, Gozaimus. E......, Japanese (c), Totemo Difficult Shiidez. Demo, Anime De Study Citaymus"
And Kaoruko looks strange.
I can't speak Japanese that hard yet, so I'll open my mouth instead. [M]
"Yes, I study Japanese in cartoons and so on while I'm at work. I saw it recently..."
"Oh, you chose a very good one. I love it, too. We also have a lot of DVDs, so why don't we watch it together next time, if that's okay?
Oh, speaking of which, is it illegal to lend a DVD?
I can just impress you a little bit that you're protecting it properly like a civil servant around there. When I told Marie, for example, I still got the look of interest.
"Marie said she's looking forward to it too. Uh, rest in the case of the clerk..."
"In my case, it's closed Monday, and it's a weekday day. He works at City Hall, so I couldn't really go out and play without a holiday."
Hmm, then maybe she and Marie will play two days a week.
I've been so worried about leaving you alone because I have a job to do. This may be because of my concern, but I'm still a little bit ready to let her walk away...
"You must be overprotective in a place like that. I wonder what I'm afraid of in Japan, where there are no demons."
"In the end, humans are scariest than demons. But with Kaoruko-san, it would be a lot easier."
Anxiety is disturbing even while answering in elf.
No, because you're a real cutie. I'm pretty sure there's going to be some weird people out there one day and they're scared. Stalkers and stuff. There's a lot of dark news these days.
She sensed my mood like that, and her husband laughed.
"Kitase, I know exactly what it's like to be worried about a pretty girl. Well, you should get along with your wife for a while before you think about it."
Maybe he's happy to have friends with Kaoruko, too.
Just a little worried, I nodded slowly.
